49ers

We have to get out of that soft zone. Man up and be aggressive with them. They aren't big. Plus they can't run on us so the safeties can hang back and help in coverage.

Dumbest shit ever. Mangini can't figure out how to cover a RB out of the backfield.

Man, Fuck this!!..:angry:...I'm done for this season!!..we should have beat the giants tonight!!..

Yup.

All you have to do is cover him TAKE BOWMAN OUT BECAUSE HE ISN'T FAST ENOUGH TO DO THE FUCKING JOB RIGHT NOW.

just a coaching malfunction of bullshit defensively

offensively keep it exactly this same way the rest of the season and see what happens.

I will say I am proud of kap.
The whole world talked shit about him the past 2 weeks he came out on the road and showed what a franchise qb looks like.

From now on the offense looks exactly like this. open it up. we've been calling for it. He makes quick decisions and all the throws including touch passes.

we talked about taking deep shots with torrey at least 3 a game. we said that he didn't have to hit on them just throw them. and he got interference calls every single time they did and moved us right down the field.

its not rocket science

let's go niners!

We're fielding a really fucking solid coaching staff on the low.

ill compile a list later on tonight but this coaching staff might be better than the one we just had..

They might end up keeping their word.
Mangini is actually a good dc he knows defense we had his ass as a tight ends coach thanks jim harbaugh!
tarver is a former dc excellent teacher excellent linebackers coach

offensive line we're going to the zone which is going to make hyde a 1600 yard rusher

sporano as the tight end coach = resurgence of vd and maybe we can finally coach macdonald up.

rathman is rathman

shit man this staff might be way better than the one we were running with for 4 years

:ssshhh::ssshhh::ssshhh:

Yall are delusional, Yall seeing a team that "barely" misses the playoffs... C'mon man... No corners , no oline, patch work linebacker group... If this team wins 6 games that'll be impressive ... I'll revisit this post when we're 1-5

Okay fam, I need to know what the lotto numbers are for the next powerball drawing

;););)

Shell Zone = Torched

Man to man = Defense plays stout.

3 tight end sets = offense is crap

Open it up fully and attack = We put up points.

Let's see if the rocket scientist figure this out going forward

glad you're enjoying it haha

I almost forgot to highlight this sentence...

Can't "coach up" a dude with no heart who's scared of contact..... and a bust of a 2nd round pick who has shit hands, and is 50/50 blocking defenders

:hmm::hmm::hmm:

:hmm::hmm::hmm:

nope but you can play blake bell to get things going and throw a touchdown to brent celek. you know let the people who can play make plays?

we shouldn't have more than 1 tight end on the field at any point unless its goal line or really short yardage period

no more 2 tight ends or 3 tight ends for the rest of the season

1st a loss is a loss is a loss is a loss. No moral victories. Now this is my review of the game tonight. Not be used towards anything optimism or pessimism. Just flat out tonight.

Defense.

The line actually got good ass push considering Eli wants to get rid of the ball before 3 seconds and we didn't blitz a whole lot. Really good play by them to be honest. Lynch was a fucking beast. He was getting around on that side the entire night and even forced the should have been game sealing interception. The Giants are the latest team to not be able to really on us at all. Teams pop maybe 1 or 2 and that's it. And the rushing touchdowns all come from close no long runs. So that's them.

Linebacker- I pray Hodges is up to speed for sunday. Wilhoite simply cannot cover or play zone. he's not fast enough. He's a run linebacker that's it. Bowman I love you but you're not as fast as you were. He was step slow all night. Vereen ate him and then he gave up the td to lose the game. Old bowman picks that out of the sky and we go home a winner. Not his fault he's not 100% yet but he isn't.

DB's
I can forgive acker for not catching the one laid out interception. I can even forgive the coverage tonight. Brock catch the fucking punt. It's game over. Just catch the fucking rock.

Now why can i forgive the coverage? Because it's plain and simple. We play better man to man than zone period. Soft shell zone where we bail at the snap and allow a free release and fast receivers get up the field and behind the linebackers to catch easy pitch and catch throws = we give up all of the ass. SIMPLE

we played good last week because we didn't do that. We allowed them to cover their man. Don't play any soft zone the rest of the year period. Also there's no reason Dontae Johnson shouldn't get more snaps. So yea they gave up 500000 yards but wtf did we expect them to do when they give 20 yard cushions against odell beckham jr and never double team him. or when you drop linebackers 15 yards and let the rb catch it out of the flat in the middle of the field. .

OFFENSE.

Vance is a blocker. Run all routes with Bell/Celek/Vd ( if he feels like playing) That pretty ass pass Kap threw to Vance is a touchdown if bell or celek get that opportunity. Give it to them.

Offensive line. They played great after Dervy got benched and Tiller came in the game. this is what we needed. light a fire under asses. ALSO the offense made sense. They cannot hold blocks for a long time to allow a long play to develop period SO... just stop calling those plays altogether. that's what we did. and the line can be decent if we do that.

Now. Receivers. Finally used the speed. Ellington came in immediately made an impact. Need more of him at all times. he is the slot receiver period.

Need to get the rest involved TOO let white run some deep routes let patton run some slants push the ball down the field.

As I have called for and Im sure Curt can find the quotes, take deep shots with Torrey. take 3 or 4 a game. We did that. all of those plays were SUCCESSFUL. not because he caught them but because they had no choice but to p.i. him and we instantly move the ball right down the field. EASY. do it every game. that's called running a prolific offense.

Now philosophy is next because it ties in directly to Hyde and Kap.

No more clunky formations period.

Open the bitch up, spread it out.
Kap comes to the line, with the defense spread out, reads the defense knows where his keys are before the snap, snaps it and then hits his target no matter what the throw is. When we changed over to the offense we should have been running he was throwing people open. Throwing before breaks. Threw bullets. Threw on the money bread in the basket touch passes and made the check downs when it was time. He is a franchise QB just run a franchise offense not no bullshit.

Which goes to hyde. When we tried to go big, teams go big and then there are no lanes and nowhere to run. When you keep 3 wr or 4 wr on the field the other team is in nickel or dime and the safeties are deep, the box is clear and there are less linebackers than defensive backs. A defensive back is not going to challenge hyde. Soon as we spread it out in the 2nd half Hyde went nuts and that is a trend that can easily continue for the rest of his career.

If they go back to anything other than what we did tonight someone needs to be fired on offense. It works for every team we're going to face. Get rid of the fucking ball. Make the safeties play back to give hyde room. If they play single high put speed on the outside so that we can challenge them deep and most importantly get the ball out of kap's hands and into our guys who can make plays whom he will find before the line loses their blocks and gets us murdered.

The speed even cleaned up the penalties. I think there was 1 offensive holding penalty? and that's just guessing. I don't even know if there actually was one which is the fucking point.

Get it done.

Well said LBOP. A loss is indeed a loss. it's just frustrating because this week (like last week) was a game we could have won.

Some points to add onto yours....

Defense
The rush line... Mangini tinkers with it too much in the wrong direction. Last night should have been a combination of A-A-Ron, Amstead, Williams, Harold, Lemonier. The outside guys can get pressure and the big guys in the middle can collapse the pocket.

It's time to sit Jerrod-Eddie and dress Purcell.

The DB's did a decent job. They just got chewed up with dink-and-dunk throws all night. Brock's gotta catch a floating ball. :smh:

Mangini
OK, he went Big Dime on the final drive to get better coverage on Vereen. Good plan. However, he didn't plan to take him away. He could have went Cover-4, Rush 3, etc to leave 2 guys underneath to take away Vereen. It was very frustrating to watch.

Offense
They finally used a speed guy as the bubble screen receiver. Let Boldin's big ass block. Thank you Chryst for finally making that simple change.

He should have taken advantage of the slow guy in the slot however. Dude couldn't run with Boldin. Imagine is we lined Ellington or Patton up against him. That would have been easy pickings.

We saw it in preseason though. Up tempo, spread them out, letting Kaep fire the ball out is the way to go.

Last night we also got back to Kaep being under center and handing the ball off. Check out the number of handoffs under center this season.
Vikings - 1
Steelers - 6 (4 toss) (2 gaol line)
Cardinals - 4 - 1 toss
Packers - 3
Giants - 19 (1 toss) (6 in the first quarter alone)

We need to get back to this. Get back to a more power running style. Start mashing dudes, so the spread and play action is more effective.

Yup. Jerod Eddie needs to be inactive.
Armstead needs to be in on every pass rushing down to collapse the pocket.

Eli would have thrown 8 ducks if armstead was in there with lynch on the same side.
Lemon gave us nothing once again lol.

And exactly but make sure ellington is in the game as the 3rd wr so we can use his fucking incredible speed to chew up yards.
he is a threat to take it to the house every single time.

go back to the boldin fade put ellington right there kap tossed that shit right from the snap anticipating it like he does when we run the uptempo threw an absolute perfect pass. if that's to ellingon that's 6. EASY.

loved taking the deep shots. we took 5 of them at least.

the key is to see that this works on offense and then NOT try anything different. To leave this how it is and build on THIS.

Bruce Ellington: 2 snaps

this is fucking ridiculous. Just get out of your own fucking way and put him on the field. every time he touches the ball its electric. get the ball in his hands 10 times a game I guarantee you 1 of those is a touchdown every single fucking game

At least he's in the game i guess. the previous regime would have him inactive

That's exactly what I'm talking about... As soon as they hit on the first pass I thought, "Holy shit! That's easy pickings. Come back to that late in the game with Torrey, Patton and Ellington. It doesn't matter who is in the slot. They will burn that guy for an easy 6!"

Don't knock Lemon. Erik Flowers is 6'6" 329 lbs. Dude is huge. Lemonier actually fared a little better against him than Harold (who he just basically put in a choke hold and there was no flag! )... But that goes back to my point of being more creative with the rush line. If 6'3" 247 lb. ElI Harold can't get around him, why not put in 6'8" 292 lb. Erik Amstead or 295 lb. Tank Carradine. Try something different there.

Well we didn't come back to the single high exploit which is what I'll refer to it but we DID come back to the screen pass to the wr and the main and major adjustment we made was NOT throwing it to Boldin. Let boldin be physical and block. we threw it to torrey smith who ate up a chunk of yards and instantly got us down the field.

we were getting down the field in 3 plays.. that is the offense we have. that is how we attack going forward. no more multiple tight ends period. don't be scared. you have a franchise qb. USE HIM

there is no difference between what Kap was running and what Eli, Peyton, Aaron or Brady ran yesterday ABSOLUTELY NO FUCKING DIFFERENCE

we spread them out. He got up to the line with plenty of time to read the defense. Snapped it under complete control knew where he wanted to go with the ball and fired it like he does. his touch passes were pretty. he threw people open. he threw anticipations before the break.

Just do this shit every week

Gloom and doom squad will say blow it up

however we could easily be 3-2 right now.

If we bring this offense with us last week that's an easy w

we bring the defensive scheme we played with last week this week its an easy win.

let's just put it together and see what happens.

As far as this goes, I think we should have blitzed off of that side I guess but Brooks being out really hurt us.

Kap looked good last night..too bad Mangini went brain dead at the end

I never knew Reggie Bush and Torrey Smith was signing to the team...

The defense look good for the most part, last night

He'll look like that every week if they simply run the offense like that every week. It's an offense that works every week. It's really no different from the offense Manning runs.. both of them. Just let Kap do it.

You guys just need to get that running game figured out. I don't know what it is. Why aren't you putting up a lot of points? Is it really the deep ball or lack thereof that's messing everything up?

Your defense has been lights out

Okay fam, I need to know what the lotto numbers are for the next powerball drawing

;););)

Lol 3,8,15,18,25

I could get into the x's & o's of it, but the reality just is I've been watching this team for a long time.. 25 years of my life, I know how we look when it's good & I know how we look when it's bad.

Harbaugh was truly a godsend & if Jed cared as much about this team as he did his checkbook we'd be sitting pretty.. Make no mistake, y'all can watch all the game rewind you want, this team is bad because York chose Baalke over Harbaugh. Damn Wolverines posting shutouts back to back to back!!!!! That coulda been us.. :smh:

I rematched the game to study these 2 closely.

Devey looked like his usual crappy self to start the game.

Tiller came in and was very solid. Dude held his blocks, picked up the switch offs nicely. Held his guys up, etc.

It seems to light a fire in Devey because when he came back he actually did a good job.

Overall Tiller played better should be the starter on Sunday. It was time to make a change from Devey. I believe they just wanted to work Tiller in gradually by splitting time.

Your optimism is truly enviable , I wish my fandom worked like yours.. You do realize we're one game away from my prediction being 100% on point tho..

We're just on opposite ends and that's OK.

Your prediction is working out sure but we should easily be 3-2 right now. This last games offense shows up against the packers that's an easy w. brock catches the easiest interception of his life it's a w.

it didn't fall our way. so we are what our record says we are.

but i see something if they put it together.

what? i don't know but i like the attitude of the team. i like that kap said after this game we can still go 12-4

that's what you want your team to play like and be like. not looking to next year.

Noticed that too. they actually ended up splitting snaps perfectly 50/50

Tiller is just more powerful in pass blocking. He was punching the shit out of Jenkins. Jenkins was a non factor. Devey came back and was killing on run blocking.

shit if the line protects like that with them splitting snaps then let's just let them split snaps then fuck it.

after this baltimore game we won't have to worry about marcus martin anymore. he can slide back to guard maybe. and honestly with the emergence of tiller we could see a Staley, thomas kilgore tiller boone at rt line and that doesn't sound too shabby imo.

we'll see.

let's take care of this week. give kap the time to make his keys and get the ball out of his hands like he did sunday.

the ball was firing out of there because he had the time to read the defense when you're supposed to. allowed him to go through his progressions better too. he seems to just be on it when you give him the time to do it and his fundamentals on the drop backs were flawless. let him be the qb.

a win is a win is a win is a win.

notes-

offensive line was better again. gave up some pressure on jail house blitzes but that's ok gotta call a hot route.

kap is kap. let him do him. he is fucking good enough.

coaching-
stop being scared. every time they coached scared we didn't convert or settled for field goals. when we were aggressive we scored touchdowns really simple.

bring this offense every week we have a chance.

bring this offense all season we're probably above .500 right now.
pakcers should've won. giants def should've won now this one.

DEFENSIVELY

Run defense stays stout

other than that?

Brooks is ass as a pass rusher. he gets no rush. teams just double team lynch and everything is taken care of.

also its time to take bowman out on passing downs. he's great coming down hill but when coverage is involved he is simply a step slow. they literally picked on his area of the zone all game 2 games in a row now. really 4 games in a row.

secondary get aggressive. they can't be faulted too much because they're playing so much zone. get them in man to man let them be physical and stop someone.

overall we put it together KIND OF but not nearly as good as we could be

let's go get this win thursday and then start the march.

Use Kap. Take the fucking deep shots. Let him get the ball out of his hands and into the play makers. he's way better when he has to take a drop back too. shit is epic. accurate and every throw is made

that pass to torrey smith for the touchdown was fucking perfect. that's all season if they allow kap to do him.

only thing is don't go into a shell in the red zone. keep it open. if they keep it open instead of trying to protect points we probably scoring 40 points today.
don't get cute. keep this offense for thursday too it will work.

I see progress and with any type of front office help we should be on saddle to being one of the best teams in the NFL next season..
At least we know what type of qb Kap is, and the type of team we must build around him, and though the defense is still green, the do play though and are lacking a few key components from being one of the elite defenses in the NFL, once again..

A GOOD TYPE.

give him plays to be successful and he looks just as good as anybody else out there.

makes every throw everyone else does

and then makes the other ones that they can't.

3rd down 51 yard to boldiin on the run a perfect dime out of the sky

and then the adlib play to patton

Also point proven.

Give Kap AVERAGE PROTECTION. not even elite protection just average. call plays designed to get the ball out quick and then throw in the plays that take long to develop then call the shot plays.

2 games with AVERAGE PROTECTION in a row and what has he looked like?

Today he got 300+ yards on fucking 16 completions.

let that sink in. now 35 completions. 16.

he averaged 22 yards per completion.

Look at the throw to Torrey he couldn't have handed the ball off better than that.

His touch passes have been on the money.

Look at the 51 yarder to boldin on the run off 1 foot. on the fucking money right in the bread basket.

and then look at the play to Patton. didn't panic. let it develop and hit him as soon as he came uncovered.
