49ers

LBOP , I'm just not seeing a good team here man.. We are in trouble.

i feel you.

let me ease it a lil bit.

the only legit question you should have is the right side of the offensive line. right side we need to watch closely and hope they gel. left side is rock solid with boone and staley and the center position is just fine with martin now and then kilgore when he's healthy.

wr's we have speed FINALLY after all these years. FINALLY. Torrey smith - pure speed

Boldin is the possession guy

Ellington - pure speed

Deandrew White - pure speed

Simpson when he comes back from suspension - pure speed.

Patton is the question mark. is he going to be the promising guy or the dude who loses 12 yards on a catch.

Rb
Hyde- beast
Bush - speed change of pace we been wanting (screens)
Davis- young frank gore

Tigh end
Vd
Celek
Blake bell
Vance.
(sporano is their coach.. the best tight end coach in the business period.

Defensively we're more than alright the only question is how much pass rush from the outside will we generate.
If ahmad can play we'll be just fine with him and lynch looking like himself. with eli harold subbing.

interior we're beasting. Tank/Ian/Dorsey/Dial/Purcell

we haven't had ian and dorsey healthy at the same time yet..

ILB im good with bowman and wihoite.

and ill get to why in a moment.
Bowman is bowman he looks like he hasn't missed a beat.

Now safeties we're set. reid bathea pro bowlers.

db's your boy is not going to start lol. you were right. wright is there for depth and he'll probably play special teams.

brock johnson and acker are top 3. reaser after that.

now why im not mad at wihoite is because he won't be covering tight ends.. tartt will. and if you've seen tartt you know he is the real deal.

Armstead is commanding double teams already and all he is supposed to do is collapse the pocket, bat down balls and then if the run goes near him swallow it up. he's never going to be or is he supposed to be a sack man. he is the disruptive force.

i have no predictions but we're not in nearly as much trouble as you or a lot of people think.

we're right there in the mix with everyone else but our coaching might be the difference, especially offensively doing the things we should have been doing going on 4 years now.

so we'll see.

Made the 53 man roster.
hayne.0.0.gif

Yea he's going to get limited snaps at the rb position but his special teams play is what got him on the team he's cold as hell returning and he can go down and make tackles too.

we let go of dead weight like craig dahl in order to make sure we kept the best 53 and he was one of them

My personal predictions:

When I look at this roster & look at the teams we have to face...
I see 8-10 wins from us
We won't be terrible, but we wont be great
In all honesty, I think we will just barely miss the playoffs

Three (3) areas of concern
Just like largebills already said....

1) Right side of the O-line will be a problem
We kept 4 TE's, so you can tell we will be running more 2/TE sets
They traded away the other TE's who couldn't block (Carrier & Cleveland)
So we will need Vance to block/chip on the right side while Vernon is our passing threat

2) OLB Pass rush
Man we are going to miss Aldon, no ways to sugar coat this
Brooks & Lynch are good.
You can tell Harold is talented, but still just a little 'green'. He could be starting material next year
Lemonhead needs to just watch from the bench

3) ILB (specifically Wilhoite)
Wilhoite is decent...not as bad as Moody...but not as good as Borland
Wilhoite will be rusty the 1st couple of games
Pass happy teams will try to pick on him & isolate him
Also our DB's are good, but I think might give up a couple huge plays b/c of miscommunication (they will gel better as the season goes on)

** Our special teams will be better this year
Hayne will be key in getting us good field position
Hopefully Pinion can be more consistent & pin the other teams inside the 10 yard line a lot (just like Any Lee was good at years ago)

** Our run defense should be solid
But I think our pass defense will be hit or miss
Mangini will try to blitz more to compensate for lack of pass rush, but good QB's will make us pay (like Aaron Rogers)

** Our running game will be solid
I'm really not worried about Kaep or our WR's
The problem will be, how much time will the O-line give Kaep to throw
Teams with good D-lines will be a problem (like the Rams)
The offense should be a little better, just based on the fact that we got rid of Greg Roman

The problem I see with our schedule is that....most of the teams we play are playoff teams !!!
Its going to be a hard schedule
For the 1st four games...
I think we can hold Adrian Peterson to under 100 yards (we usually do anyways) & beat them
With the Steelers Olinemen Pouncey out, we can contain Bell & get enough pressure on BigBen to win that game also
I need to see how we play but, I think we will take a loss against the Packers & Cardinals though
I'm thinking its 2-2, after week # 4

i agree but i will mention like i said the pass happy teams won't have wihoite to pick on because he'll be replaced by tartt on passing down and wihoite will strictly be playing the run downs.

we will see way more safety coverage they're going to use tartt in there and they're going to use ward at his natural position in coverage calls as well.

this staff is all about making sure players do what they do well and that's it. if you can't do something, you're not going to be asked to do it.

i think coaching gets us some wins this year and the talent is there to make some noise.

no idea record wise but we agree on pretty much everything.

just heard brooks is going to play 1st game so we will have him and lynch to start the season.

I can just imagine him as a punt returner running muthafuckas over.

I can see everyone in this division winning between 7-10 games. Cardinals are way too over-hyped, i think they come down to Earth a little bit this year.

Unbiased opinion.

Seattle is going to be good defensively on the line wagner is a beast.

Earl Thomas is still hurt. Chancellor is holding out and might get traded. Sherman is a beast. Offensively they're the same. The offensive line is weaker imo.

The rams are pretty good. Their corners and safeties are still suspect. And Nick Foles is not a good qb.

Cardinals offensively are not special at rb that's why they signed 8 of them.

Palmer will fuck up and give you the game.
Defense has a lot to prove under a new defensive cooridnator.

Yall are delusional, Yall seeing a team that "barely" misses the playoffs... C'mon man... No corners , no oline, patch work linebacker group... If this team wins 6 games that'll be impressive ... I'll revisit this post when we're 1-5

Their O line has some question marks too, and i dont see Foles being that productive under pressure or on the move.

Hell, matter fact everybody in the division has question marks on their O line.

It's comical what you just typed but it goes with the auto pessimism you have.

It's all good

Everybody stacked but us lol.

Everybody else unproven players are good ours aren't

We got no talent to compete nowhere.

Everyone I know keeps asking how will the 49ers do. I tell them I have no clue. But what I do know is that we aren't going 2-14 like some have predicted.
Bringing Brooks back helps with the OLB, now a weak spot.
Pears, I read somewhere, graded out better as a OR than G... but he is an obvious concern.
Like LBOP said the coaches will actually COACH. our players will constantly be put in a position to suceed. No more banging our heads against a wall.

pears is actually better at tackle and they had him at guard in buffalo but he is at home in the zbs

we got rid of all the linemen who couldn't run the zone blocking system.

Got auto corrected.. OR should be OT
But i say this season is on Kap. We'll go as far as he can take us. When that line break down he has to scramble. When he is upright , and not getting sacked 46 times , he has to hit open receiver.
Simple right ;)

If the line is fucked you gotta work a miracle instead of the coaches helping the team out in other areas.

I agree we go as far as he takes us, that's always been the case. Even with a fully stacked team he was the only one who actually stepped up to lead us to wins and losses so yea it's on him in that regard like it's on every other qb in the nfl ... or should be.

The thing is, when he is protected he has proven time and time again he can hit the open receiver it shouldn't even be a question at this point.. it really shouldn't

when people are open he hits them
when there is a pocket to throw from he steps up
when we actually have deep threats (plural) meaning more than just his tight end he hits them.

those are facts.

Can't wait to see Kap in action with an offense that attacks from everywhere. I know people loved Harbaugh offense with RB dives, and Boldin 8yd curls :hmm: ; but to challenge the deep safety , run a screen for the agressive lines , and run crossing routes with an offense that plays uptempo I'm excited to see the results!

What's going on my BGOL 49ers Brothers,

It's football season and time to see what our 49ers is going to do this season!!..I was watchin our preseason games and i see we going back to the running game...about time!!..:yes:..cause the run game set the passing game for us and that how we was successful in the past!!..but i'm worry about our O-line..they look kinda off this preseason on protection!!..but i know we can get that together!!..Defense, look like we going to be alright..damn NaVorro Bowman look good!!..a straight beast!!..:yes:..the pass rushers look pretty well too..but overall i think we can do something this year!!..:yes:

LET"S GO 49ERS!!....:dance::dance:

Let the uninformed football people keep talking about who we don't have. We'll just keep winning with who we do have. :D

Oh NOW you finally make a comment huh
I wasn't as bad as 900Killa
At least I said we might win 8-10 games
900Killa had us picking 1st in the draft

:lol::lol::lol:

I told you man when you were close to the ledge.

all the coaches did was MAKE CALLS THAT MADE SENSE.

if they can't stop the zone left run KEEP FUCKING RUNNING IT

make the simple passes put in multiple tight ends to see if they can give kap the proper time to throw.

on defense i had full faith in magini AND the talent.

Acker coming up tackling adrian peterson.
wilhoite a great complimentary player who was out on passing downs

tartt already making his presence felt

dial dorsey and ian clogging up that middle

mangini BLITZING late in the game instead of vic's soft coverage zone bullshit.

kap controlled the offense completely. clean up the penalties we probably put up 35 points.

its funny. before the game it was look out for the vikings
vikings on the come up they gone beat yall ass

now everyone will say well the vikings just aren't that good

Good win tonight!!..:yes:..I know it's the first game, but we did look good tonight!!..:yes:..i'm soo glad that we are going back to our bread and butter, the power running game and play good hard defense!!..:dance:..let's keep this going and keep getting better this season!!

LET"S GO 49ERS!!!..
