NARCOS - Netflix Original Series

watching ep 3 now...damn so that club hit @ the beginning of ep 1 was all behind...wow I won't say it...damn...innocent bodies got caught too for that

Well by episode two you know this show isn't fucking around. Both a dog and a cat get murdered. I am not an "animal lover" but dude........

Damn, Netflix bagged another one. Found another show to get into. Between this and Mr. Robot my weekend is gone. Love the cinematography in Mr. Robot, btw.

For Kodi users there are plenty of working addons with links. People tend to stick only one or two addons. Also, you internet speed doesn't matter if it is a bad link. To many variables come into play also. Some links work best at night. Some work better in certain regions. Its a crap shot but once you find a good source it is all good.

7 episodes in. Damn this shit is addictive. I'm slick doing research on names and events...they did a good job as far as I'm concerned.

And yo that Avianca Flight 203 :smh:

Yeah, 1000 bodies got dropped like nothing but those two deaths pissed me the fuck off.

A lot of stuff they're implicating him in like its fact when it still hasn't been proven that he was involved, like that flight, and the way the Supreme Court thing went down.

Powered thru the entire season last nite. Good shit. Netflix is taking chances. Half the show is in Spanish showing that they want that international reach and are reflecting it in their programming.

I'll refrain from discussing particulars until everyone has seen all eps.

if Pablo doesn't run for office dude might still be running shit

Dude pulled a John Gotti with attracting attention to himself

and the plane :smh:

yo...just seen it :( :smh::smh::smh: damn they played that kid

He just had a baby too

Them having Pablo on their wall like he was white jesus :smh:

It's ok and a great show for those who aren't familiar with Pablo's story but if you are it's all just another aspect of Pablo's life and deeds.

It's also moving very fast, they got to Barry Seals out of the way fast and that's halfway mark of his life story.I would of liked it better if they would of branched off into different characters that was involved on both sides, like Blanco and her son's,the Ochoa's and even on the American black side with Rayful & chicki's dealings.

And the prostitute/informant was Woodrow's girlfriend on Season 2 of True Detective.

oh word didn't peep that...esco's wife was on a movie I saw when I first got netflix called sin nombre...someone on BGOL put me onto it...a lot of familiar faces tho

I'm wondering if they can/will handle this series like true detective...where each season focuses on a different drug empire

netflix used to have a series called underbelly...it was like narcos in that it was a drama based on real ppl/events...the focus was organized crime/crews in australia...each season focused on a different crew...it was pretty good...don't think they still stream it tho

just realized dude from game of thrones (the viper) is the DEA dude's partner...pablo is the dude from elite squad

Damn, I knew I known that dude from something but couldn't remember. Thanks for the info. Elite Squad was tight as hell too.

ok...I jumped the gun way too early...almost done w/ ep 8...now it's coming around full circle...club hit makes more sense now

I don't understand his greed...guess dude truly won't afraid of death...it's like he gonna keep pushing as much as he can get away w/ until you fight back/kill him

I was thinking the same thing.

I think it was in episode 4 or 5 when they said he was making as much as $60 million a day

not greed - it was class warfare... Escobar wasn't in the upper class so he had to keep pushing to just keep what already made... that was the real issue behind keeping him out of the senate... all of the political enemies were wealthy upper class...
Also they mentioned that senators were exempt / or had immunity from most laws
He should have started a civil war... instead of a senate run, all he had to do was flood the slums of Bogata, Cali and Medillin with $$$ for a few years.

na I'm talking about after they were well into making $$$ @ a point where they had far surpassed the higher ups...there was one scene where his cuz'n was quibbling about losing petty $$$ @ point when the organization was making around 30 bill annually for a few years @ that point...then asking for the "war tax" in the 1st place and then quintupling it later

the one thing i really hate about this is the use of the word "brave men" to whoever tried to stop them from selling drugs.

they were not brave. those drug dealers did more for their country than the politicians ever would have or ever tried to.

and the american government wanted it stopped because they weren't getting a cut. i think that's probably the biggest bs portion of this entire thing. they could give a fuck about lives. they just didn't want brown people with all of that money.

I've watched 3 episodes so far and I feel you 100% but I think part of it is that we're watching all this unfold from Steve Murphy's point of view so that def has something to do with spin we get.

The show seems to do a good job of showing the corruption on all sides but it has a sympathetic take on America's involvement in all this so far.

Netflix must be keeping a lot of media executives up at night with all the moves they're making. They've got another hit on their hands
