NARCOS - Netflix Original Series

if Pablo doesn't run for office dude might still be running shit

Dude pulled a John Gotti with attracting attention to himself

and the plane :smh:

He just had a baby too

Them having Pablo on their wall like he was white jesus :smh:

yeah, the way this is playing out, and I suspect it's somewhat true, Pablo had a whole lot of moments he could've just chilled, but he had a hair trigger that fucked him over and over again.

I've watched 3 episodes so far and I feel you 100% but I think part of it is that we're watching all this unfold from Steve Murphy's point of view so that def has something to do with spin we get.

The show seems to do a good job of showing the corruption on all sides but it has a sympathetic take on America's involvement in all this so far.

Netflix must be keeping a lot of media executives up at night with all the moves they're making. They've got another hit on their hands

Yea it feels like it had to be told from his narration in order for it to be made. he's barely in the shit. he hasn't done anything of note really. he's just in it sometimes lol.

this is about pablo and them.

I'm two episodes in with the wife. This show is good as fuck. I highly recommend.

I didn't like how that shit ended

I would've liked to see it play out to the end...but I get they have to save some for @ least another possible season...that's why I brought up TWD...this didn't feel like a real season finale just like a mid break

I'm not even sure if I wanna watch the paradise lost flick now...pretty sure they're gonna dumb shit down and whitewash the flick

- The ending. Of course it's going to end like that, there's more story to tell. He built his jail, had more war, then went out in a blaze of glory. Doing that in 10 episodes is criminal. They squeezed so much shit in these first 10 its ridiculous.

- All of this happened because brown people are getting money. If White people had harvested and went down into those brown countries and built corporations off of that plant, you could buy coke from Walgreens.

- DEA had no reason to be down there. enforce the drug laws in your own country. Your country is part of the problem. They have no place to send the drugs if everyone here doesn't do it.

-Pablo wasn't satisfied. It led him to great wealth but it was his downfall and you could see it clearly. He got loads of money but that wasn't enough. He built the cartel up and led it but that wasn't enough. His massive power wasn't enough he wanted absolute power.

-Pablo took it too far. After the congress shit, fall back and get money, play with the rhino's and chill out. Bombing politicians and president's and shit just wasn't a wise move. Whether he did all of it or not it was going to be pinned on him and he knew that.

-If he could've gotten out of his own way he might have lived longer.

-Really hate the white dude. He serves no purpose. I guess to narrate but he isn't a good guy or cop. He really has no business being down there and he's a bandit just like Pablo. You really get a sense of how unbelievably petty they are. He's in jail, locked up serving a sentence. The bombings stopped, innocent lives are allowed to move on, the city is vibrant but those 2 fucks could care less about all of that shit. "He's partying inside, this is a joke. I don't like HOW he's serving his time locked up, he needs to serve his time the way i want him to serve his time." Now look at what they started up all over again?

- Stop bitching and moaning to your wife about shit. Actually, I take that back. Dude didn't even bitch to his wife, she bitched to him and he was like it's all good we'll deal with it and then she took her fucking ass up to the jail and ran her fucking mouth about the shit. I couldn't believe she would go and get her husband killed like that. Make no mistake about it, she got him killed. If she doesn't mention that shit, all of the money they found is easily washed up as an accident and they're home.

-Blackie is that dude. I'm glad he's alive.

- Gustavo was that dude too. Faced with death he was loyal to the end. I don't see how the ochoa brothers didn't get clapped for that bullshit but mostly Pancho. I guess that's where the next series will take us. He's as bitch made as they come.

Good season.

yep that pissed me off...that was on her 1000%

I agree about the white agent...but I don't hate his character...dude is just silly to me...funny af watching him inflate his importance (just like they do) but in the big picture he really is nothing and getting w/e scraps he can...pena and the colombian cop are the ones really going above and beyond to get shit done...the DEA/CIA and colombian gov't have been inept for the most part...arguably purposefully so in some instances...only thing the white agent has going for him is he's american...so they have to think twice about killing him

I've read alot of books, and seen alot of documentaries on this topic. There is no sympathy here. Its pretty much the most accurate retelling linking all the parties in all ways possible to the story. Color me impressed.

Get later in the series, and you'll see the Murphy character is far from sympathetic. At some point America just simply becomes Hell bent on accomplishing one thing, Killing Pablo.

Netflix is HBO'ing the industry right now.

just watched the first ep

kinda feels like a documentary....i guess that was intentional ?

It's his smug look. He walks around looking like he expects to get respect and results. He should be in Miami. Just like the kidnapping by Pancho.. the smugness.

"I thought I was gonna die then i remembered they're not gonna kill me"

1st thing he says is "you're making a huge mistake" and all that bullshit people say. Look at the Vice minister though, he's sweating bullets..

Hate is a strong word I guess but I don't like his character the most boring parts are when he's on screen. He's calling in hits and talking about he's not a bad guy? Yes you are. You're calling in hits killing people. Killed poison man.. poison was hilarious. Cold as fuck. When they were arguing about kill count in the car? that shit was shocking and hilarious. When he got Suarez at his home.. shot him standing there like he had somewhere else to be so he had to hurry up and murder this fool lol. Everybody is bad. The government want to stop narcos but don't want to provide jobs to the country.. that is their general motors. So don't make money manufacturing this shit, we want you to be poor and live in 3rd world slums while we live it up.. and then wonder why crime is high and people get kidnapped?

"the people of always" shit is real. everybody full of shit. ex president told the new one to follow his gut until his daughter got killed.. now he wanted him to cave in to the demands and do whatever he says. ultimately people ain't shit.

Gustavo is that dude

and Im kind of glad the character Gaucho's son is deceased. He was a fucking predator.

That's what I was referring to. The personal vendetta against him.

they weren't satisfied.

he's in jail peace on earth but fuck that we want him to be in the jail we want him to be in suffering

they always say this entitled shit "he doesn't get to..."

when they tantrum and don't get their way.

even the last ep narration where he's like the bad guys win cause they're bad and they do stuff we won't do.

quit bitching. follow your rules and win if you can't take the l

gustavo is the only character I can say that I liked...pena is cool too...and the cop who was there when they beat gustavo to death...that's it...I was glad when poison got killed...dude wanted his boy to shoot the baby man :smh::smh::smh:

I've met niggas like these fools in mex. Kicked it in Tampico and Veracruz with them, this was before all the dumbs shit began.

i just finished ep.9

ive NEVER felt this way about a criminal(that i can think of).

but pablo needed to go(nigga had no chill)! im going to check the last episode tomorrow,

& report my final thoughts on the series.

The Brother is always the loyalist one. Next to Gustavo, Blackie was always there to save him. Not sure if that's more offensive than being called negro. What is his real name any way?

Just finished watching. Show was AIGHT. Nothing special. I hate the fucking white boy narrative
If you're going to give a narrative, at least use the cat who wrote Deep Cover and The Big White Lie.

The white boy narrative can go. I give no fucks about him or his story. I fucks with the actor who plays Pablo though
