Xbox One Console Reviews

I own a PS4 and I'm thinking about copping an XBOX One.

What are the must-have exclusive Xbox One games? I'm only interested in Xbox exclusives...no point in buying a new console for the same exact games I could play on the PS4.

Dead Rising 3 (buy), Ryse (rent), Titanfall (buy for really cheap if you like online only), Forza Series (buy), Killer Instinct (buy), Sunset Overdrive (buy)

honestly right now the PS4 has better exclusives imo...the XB1 has some decent shit @ this moment but nothing I'd consider "system sellers"...XB1 does have some good shit coming out tho like halo 5 and gears of war 4...what sold me on the XB1 was the hardware and its capabilities vs. what the PS4 was able to do @ the time I bought it...eventually got both systems tho...last of us and MLB 15 was enough for me to get the PS4 also have both infamous games and order 1886...have cross platform games on the XB1...the exclusives I have are dead rising 3...titanfall...forza: fast and furious...ryse and state of decay...actually state of decay is sort of a semi-system seller imo...great zombie survival game

Batman: Arkham Knight Reviews

Rocksteady has said this is its last Batman game, and I'm praying to the New Gods that they're on the level. After Arkham Knight, trying to find more meat on the Batman bone would define futility. After Arkham Knight, Batman has been perfected — and the end result is the best game of this console generation.

Red Dead Redemption leads the pack.

When Microsoft announced that it would be bringing backwards compatibility to Xbox One for Xbox 360 games, it resulted in perhaps the biggest applause at this year's E3. But there were naturally questions about this grand reveal: Notably which Xbox 360 games would be compatible with its successor?

Microsoft asked folks to vote on this as it rolls out the program that will eventually support hundreds of titles from yesteryear. While a small list of titles have already been confirmed to receive this treatment come autumn, many of the most popular Xbox 360 games didn't make the cut. Of those left out (so far), the most popular picks as of now include:

  1. Red Dead Redemption
  2. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
  3. Skyrim
  4. Halo: Reach
  5. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
  6. Gears of War 3
  7. Call of Duty: Black Ops
  8. Fallout 3
  9. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
  10. Mass Effect 3
  11. BioShock Infinite
  12. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
  13. Fallout: New Vegas
  14. Mass Effect 2
  15. Gears of War 2
  16. Call of Duty: World at War
  17. Left 4 Dead 2
  18. GTA 4
  19. Halo Wars
  20. Batman: Arkham City

And just to be comprehensive, the already revealed backwards compatible title include:

  • Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts
  • Banjo-Kazooie
  • Banjo-Tooie
  • BattleBlock Theater
  • Defense Grid
  • Geometry Wars Evolved
  • Hexic HD
  • Jetpac Refueled
  • Kameo
  • Mass Effect
  • Perfect Dark
  • Perfect Dark Zero
  • Small Arms
  • Super Meat Boy
  • Toy Soldiers
  • Toy Soldiers: Cold War
  • Viva Piñata
  • Viva Piñata: TIP

:eek:yo that t.r.demo was crazy!!that game will have me taking no doze pills for a week. lsn i have a ps4 too an the exc.is thin.i mean god of war, uncharted is about all i can say is good.if you click on the t.r. video an look at all the ps4 haters dog that game saying things like it sucks an the game looks bad etc.:smh: hell stevie wonder can see this game is one of the best games on xbox one.cant wait for batman monday night.i will say one thing, xbox better do something about this download speed because it took me 5+hours to download batman last night on live.

Okay, this helps because it confirms what I was thinking. I always thought the PS4 had better exclusives but, from what I can tell, it looks like XB1 has some good shit coming. Might go ahead and cop the XB1 for that reason alone. Plus, I'll check out some of the games folks have suggested in this thread. I'm not really into the hardware aspects of consoles. It's all about the games for me. The good thing is...I'm open to almost any genre...action games, fighting games, racing games and to a lesser extent RPGs (don't have enough time for them) and sports games.

I had the same problem...sometimes it would literally take days to download shit...I was running a wireless network...this is what I think did the trick for me...I went to settings > power and start up...and I have it so that my XB1 (doesn't) don't turn off automatically and is in energy-saving power mode...now games download in under an hour even when I'm still running wireless...this has to be what did the trick imo bcuz it's the only changes I made and now the difference is nite and day...try it out and tell me if it works...I switched to a wired ethernet connection yesterday so I expect future downloads to be even faster :itsawrap:

Kills me that if they just put 2 and 3 on this it would be a full price hit. It might even help move more of 4 when it comes.

ya I was disappointed when I first heard it...I heard 3 sucks anyway...I'll just wait for the remake to hit that sweet purchase point of $19.99 or maybe I'll have some coupons or trade-in point...I hate that it comes out in late august right before work starts :hmm:

Rise of the Tomb Raider 'Siberian Wilderness' Gameplay

Looks really good. There's a chance that this may get released for the PS4 several months after it's released for the XB1. If it doesn't go to the PS4, I may have to cop an XB1 for this game alone.

XB1 kills in exclusives this time IMO but it all boils down to what you like to play.

When you say "this time," do you mean in terms of the exclusives XB1 has coming in the near future? (like the games showcased at E3).

This generation. Sony will catch up since the Japanese stick together but I have preferred the Microsoft exclusives more this gen. And usually when a game is on XB1 and PC people say "haha they have no games". But Sony has games on PC also (FF7, Shenmue 3, No Man's Sky) but no one says a word. And once again the biggest Sony exclusives this year will be remasters......again. (Uncharted Collection, God of War 3, Beyond:Two Souls, Heavy Rain) But Uncharted 4 is the reason I'm getting a PS4 so the delay hurt that purchase for me.

Hmmmmm interesting. I've heard multiple different opinions in this thread and on BGOL about which is better (PS4 vs XB1) and I'm starting to think it boils down to this: Both consoles have amazing games and you'll need both if you want a chance to play them all.

But even if I never got an XB1, I think I'd be happy because the PS4 does have some really good exclusives that keep me busy and, at the end of the day, a lot of the best games out there are multi platform anyway.

I think I'm just going to go to IGN and look at the top 25 XB1 games. If the top XB1 exclusives look really good in comparison to the PS4 games I've played, I'll go ahead and cop an XB1.

I can't live without Gears or Uncharted so yes both is needed for me. I just always go Microsoft first. Different strokes......

yea xbox is first for me too but i was kinda mad with the ps4 with all the damn indy games they was popping out.it was more of a big paper weight then anything.i cant wait to get the batman ps4 tomorrow night,im thinking about selling it on ebay or craigslist for alittle more then what i paid for.who knows...to me xbox oe is the better system just off the live alone then you have to add the party chat in which is way better then ps4 the voice commands etc.the backward comp.is the cherry on top for me.sony already said there not gonna do it.i was rolling lol.

if I have a wireless headset that charges via USB when not in use...will it receive a charge when it's connected to a 3.5 mm controller port while playing a game?

I want to get Batman today but the DLC and preorder shit is preventing me from supporting that game early :smh: In two weeks it will be $40 TWO LONG WEEKS :smh::lol:
