CBS - Supergirl Trailer

Just to address this. Why does her physical power mean she can't have feelings of frustration? Women largely don't get physical when they're angry, frustrated. We cry.

Being able to crack the planet in half doesn't mean you're some kinda emotionless robot.

fuck outta here. she is kryptonian. she is not human.

My question is when Superman people came here and was fucking up the city, what the fuck was she doing?
simple - this show is a completely different "universe" from either Man of Steel and even Smallville more than likely.

So the flash and green arrow are in one universe while superman and batman are in another???

Looks almost as lame as that Jem & the Holograms flick.

that looks like some Lifetime/Disney Channel shit :smh:

DC made it very clear that the movies and the TV shows are in a different universe........it makes no fucking sense at all,if you ask me...:smh::smh::smh::smh:

DC ought to just bite that bullet and make television versions of Superman and Batman..bring back tom welling for the former and have some older actor play the latter

well like what many have said this show is not marketed to comic reader (male and female)
but for the avg female viewer. Can't wait for the episode were Super Girl has to find something to ware but just can't find any thing  ,but everything after she save the plane made me at least give the first one a shot. to me her suit looks ok but I have seen cospalyer make better with less. Also why is black Jimmy give her stuff from sups? why the middle man?

Executive producer Greg Berlanti on the chances of Supergirl crossing over with Arrow and The Flash

From virtually the moment it was announced that Arrow and The Flash executive producer Greg Berlanti was developing another DC project in Supergirl, there’s been speculation about a potential crossover between the shows.

However, given that Supergirl will air on a different network to her fellow DC superheroes, it would seem the chances are slim, and indeed CBS chairman Nina Tassler confirmed as much back in January. Still, Berlanti himself hasn’t quite given up hope, telling Variety that:

“The network has said publicly at this point they’re going to keep her to themselves. I always approach the shows as a fan first, so I would love to see [a crossover]. I think in success, all things are possible. But there’s a lot that would have to happen before everybody might say yes to that.”

Supergirl will get underway on CBS in November and sees Melissa Benoist (Whiplash) leading a cast that also includes Chyler Leigh (Grey’s Anatomy) as Alexandra Danvers, Calista Flockhart (Ally McBeal) as Cat Grant, Laura Benanti (Nashville) as Alura Zor-El, David Harewood (Selfie) as Hank Henshaw, Mechad Brooks (Necessary Roughness) as Jimmy Olsen, Jeremy Jordan (The Last Five Years) as Winslow Schott, Owain Yeoman (The Mentalist) as Vartox, Faran Tahir (Iron Man) as The Commander and Dean Cain (Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman) and Helen Slater (Supergirl) in as-yet-unrevealed roles.

That looks interesting...

hmmmm....

that wasn't the word I was looking for.

As a custom without any added effects on a TV series? That looks damn good. Now the show is another question.

I'm still trying to get over the premise that Superman essentially abandons his only blood relative to human parents and never, according to the show, play any role in raising her. Solely, according to the 1st episode so she could choose her own destiny and not be influenced by him in anyway....

Crazy and lazy writing. Makes Supes look like a terrible family member.

Like I said crazy! You think about all the emotional turmoil Superman has had to undergo throughout his entire life. Everything from the reality that he's an alien, being on this planet alone, coping and learning to use his powers. The many mistakes that come with being who he is. The constant God and Idol worship, the enemies, government etc etc etc. knowing and experiencing all that. What sense does it make that he allows her to go through all of that without giving her the insight of his experiences? Worst, he fucking send JIMMY? A fucking human that couldn't tell her the 1st thing about being Kryptonian...sad sad!

That Red Tornado costume looks like something a kid would put together for Halloween. I still don't see how white bread can carry this show. She has ZERO sex appeal.
