The only reason I mention the comic (the little I know of it) is because people like to say the show is jumping the shark or complain about other things and seem to forgot it's based off comic book characters. There's a lot of things they didn't do on the show for the better. Guys like Rocky used to get so pissed when the show doesn't follow the comic on certain things but if they were on the show people would DEFINITELY say they jumped the shark.

Yesterday, I was with a friend watching the shows leading up to the finale. She was like
"WTF is this? I thought you aren't into dramas?" Walking dead has the support of comic readers, zombie fans(we thirsty for anything), and keeps enough drama to get the casual audience.
How the new series is done should be interesting. Comic readers might frown upon it simply since their isn't a comic. Zombie fans will be interested but some will be turned off if it is Walking Dead pace. Casual viewers will be turned off if it is too much horror without enough drama.

Cool. Well its been an ongoing issue for years with comic clowns posting subliminal and blatant spoilers. So when we see it we call it out and attempt to nip it in the bud asap. Peace.
I hate that so many people confuse the two. the fact that they were going to do something totally different from the comic was evident the very first time we saw T Dog. Ever since then any of a comic book lovers should have known that it was going to be different. some slight differences, some major differences - but differences.
When Dale, Jeffrey De Munn started running off the mouth in season 2 or 3 and they killed him, that was evident that the show and the comic were different. stop it with the show vs the comic debate. it's dead, or it should be if you guys are watching the same show that I am. Tyrese was a bitch in the show, and a fucking G in the comic book up to where I've read so far (which is Rick's group witnessing the zombie fights hosted by the Governor).
the bear is Rick which in my mind is the only connection to the comic that is going to be safe from being killed. Everybody else, including Michonne, can be killed if the writer feel like it, or if the actor decides to speak their mind and get killed off.
