Houston is loaded.....Howard,JR smith,Ariza and terrance jones. J.harden is a SG. But a pass first PG would put them over the top.

Would not work. The west is LOADED at that position and Harden would expend too much energy guarding that position.

Rockets need a athletic, shoot first point guard that can DEFEND his position.
A pass first point guard will take the ball out of Harden's hands. his ability to facilitate and create offense for others is too valuable to the success of this team.
There's only 3 point guards out there in free agency this year worth a damn. Rondo, Reggie Jackson, and Knight.
Rondo is a cancer that we don't want, Jackson is great offensively but I'm unsure about him defensively and with Harden in the back court that needs to be a PLUS defensive player at that position.
I think the perfect fit would be Brandan Knight, but he's gonna command WAY too much money in free agency and the Suns will likely match all offers.

Get to the playoffs and Howard acted a damn fool. He DOMINATED the trail blazers on the block. Aldridge and Howard were the best two players on the court.
You think Shaq would have been satisfied with Howard's performance. NOPE! Instead he says that Howard is messing up the flow of the offense and it's interfering with Harden's game which got them to the playoffs.

Rondo's issue is mental. Dude has been mentally unstable since High School, and now, on the big stage it's magnified to the point there is a problem. Any team looking to bring him in are damn fools, and he will destroy the chemistry of any team he's on because he's a basket case. Look at how Boston's team is playing, and their season turned around since they got rid of his ass...
