I've said it before and I'll say it again: you're one of the few realist posters on here. There are so many immature idiots or "agents" that love to focus on petty shit. Divert attention away from the real issue. I'd love to believe a lot of so called "brothers" on here are really white agents but I've come to accept that celebrating another person's failure in pervasive amongst a lot of black folk.

When MC Hammer went broke, he became a running punchline. Yet a lot of people seem to overlook he went broke trying to help a lot of his people out of the hood. People overlook he had a black wife, black children and was creating jobs for black people. But I guess it's easier to shit on him. People in here have tried to move the topic to the wider context of black economics but fools on here want to focus on how "broke" Dame is. I find that interesting. Rather than focus on why we are the only group who don't practice group economics on a larger scale, idiots on here want to make excuses.

I make sure that at least 90% of my disposable income goes towards black owned businesses. It's not easy but I try. I make sure I always go above and beyond to tip black businesses. I look for opportunities to expand with other black bussinesses. That's all I'm focused on.

If you have a black community but hardly any of the businesses in that area are owned by black people, it's going to go straight into the hands of people who despise us. Imagine as a black person, you can wake up and buy your breakfast from a black owned cafe. Then catch a cab/bus/train to work by a black owned business. Have your lunch at a black owned restaurant etc etc. I bet if most people in here sat down and look at how much their disposable income goes towards non-black businesses, maybe they'd get off this petty shit.

I agree that Dame isn't the best person to spread the messenger.

However, the ONE wild card is that Dame speaks out on Black empowerment, something that most stars WONT do, and considering that, it makes me wonder if obstacles HAVE been set in his way due to his beliefs. I can believe that, knowing how white people act.
