LBOP, I'm here with Ya brother, no beef, we just passionate bout these Niners and we on opposing ends of the spectrum in regards to the current state of affairs with the Niners... If them niggas was so coveted why they coaching the Niners for pennies on the dollar????
To be clear, I wasn't trying to insult your intelligence or say you were a casual fan. I was saying from top to bottom the staff is BETTER. look at their resume's look at what we were getting. Mangini interviewed for DC jobs this past offseason so don't act like nobody wanted him. Vic campaigned to get Chryst in Chicago... so again, if Vic wanted him to be the O.C. in chicago don't act like nobody wanted them. The pay is standard pay for what coaches make. All of them from Tomsula to the rest of the staff.
Mangini was the tight ends coach last year family. wtf does a career defensive coach know about coaching tight ends? The defense is in his wheel house and he has plenty of help.
Offensively name a WR we developed under Harbaugh.. name 1.. 1 that got coached up...
The line regressed A LOT
and the only bright spot was the running backs. the quarterback was up in the air basically because play calling and flat out no adjustments and not using everyone sets the team up to fail.
the guy who developed landry and odb jr is now our wr's coach..
sporano who has been a head coach is now our tight ends coach and is going to help with the line...
we've got a great staff man. perception is not the reality in this situation. its not a spin either. The quarterbacks coach Logan is now on our staff...teams have been trying to get him to come back to the NFL for YEARS fam.
We lost the best coach we had... We'll see this year when the Bears go to the playoffs... Dude I'm sorry you think EVERYTHING these dudes do is okay, it's not... Being THIS cheap is NOT conducive to winning...
Bears don't have the talent to go to the playoffs. Vic Fangio was in college for a reason before he got to us. Nobody here was excited he would be our defensive coordinator when he got the job here so let's not make him out to be something he's not. This talent revived his career. It sucks that we lost him for damn sure so Im not saying it's ok. I'm not saying all the moves they do is ok either. I agree with some see the bigger picture with others and disagree on some. Like me and you agree that we need a stud wr. not a reach, not a defensive player. not a prospect nobody knows about. We need a stud and anything else is a disappointment period.
Shane Vereen woulda been an Excellent compliment to Hyde & because the Ny Giants, the team I hate, my hometown team, the team that has Won 2 SuperBowls in the last 10 years , Has a real GM & a real Owner who opens up the fucking checkbook, they jumped on him... If Jerry Reese snatches a player.. You should know he's good money... But look we can argue tit for tat, minute points back and forth, I been rocking with this team for 26 seasons now & I can tell you what it looks like when it's right... This is NOT it... I promise you we'll be back here next year with like the 6th pick in the draft... From top to bottom they're not spending any money and it will show.... 5-11 & honestly that's generous.
I just have no idea why you keep equating spending money with winning. That's just not the truth. The giants won 2 super bowls because they got hot at the right time period. They got in as wildcards and then got hot and won. and every other year they don't do SHIT.
that's not a real owner and a real gm. you can ask any of your giants friends or any giants fans on here if they'd rather have reese or baalke and they'd say baalke 100% of the time.
Again, the reason we cannot go out and win the free agent period is because we draft too damn good. we need money to pay the guys we got otherwise that'll be another complaint..oh we get free agents and let all our talent we drafted go.
