Somebody please tell me what is the time period of this show? Feels like a mix from the 50s mixed with present time

It's modern day, but they want it to look like the 70's. They stated this on the preview show this summer.

This show is so much better when Bruce, Salina, Alfred I r that Night cat aren't in it! The show should not be focusing on villains before they became villains (although Cobbelpot is an exception) they need to stop picking stories from the actual comic.

i bet in the season finale theyll probably have the villain of the week holding some schoolbuses full of students hostage(they were on a field trip)including some that are from"some town in Kansas called Smallville" and although not important,they keep focusing on one kid in particular wearing glasses...

Barbara is a dumbass...Jim tried to shield her from the bullshit,but she insisted to know everything and now when things are hot...she wants to run away and low-key blame Jim for putting her in the situation......

and had the nerve to jump into the sack with her ex to boot....


my least favorite character is Cat, hate any character in any show who think they know everything...usually in the form of white women...

But you know they're saving Cat Woman for later. Trying to have her walk the line between good and evil. Loved it when Poison Ivy scared her though

It might have been mentioned earlier in this thread, but can anyone explain why the guy playing Jim Gordon talks like Christian Bale when he's Batman? Despite that and some other minor issues, the show is still pretty good.
