There was a post in another football thread that couldn't be more accurate in describing Enrique:
English Moyes>Spanish Moyes
saw this earlier today.....if only the whole board could be sacked, i'd be happy. but i think we knew others would go before they make a move on enriqueCarles Puyol Exit, Andoni Zubizarreta Sacking Underline Barcelona Turmoil

No Moyes>Any Moyes.
And what's this noise about Messi following not only Chelsea, but Courtouis and Felipe Luis as well?
If Roman buys Messi, we're gonna have to bring CR7 back somehow.![]()

Don't think we have any 'Pool supporters in here but no talk about Stevie G heading to MLS?
And if I remember correctly the league is funding some of the cost to bring him over anyway. And I agree with what you said but let's be honest....I'm sure Gerrard would have no interest being in Salt Lake City or Kansas City. Just like an American would rather be in London rather than Newcastle or WalesIt's horseshit from MLS. LA and NY always get first dibs, and while I understand the size of those markets, that's no reason for other clubs to have to suffer for this simple reason.
It should come down to the amount of money you can offer a player point blank.
Until Garber opens the ownership pool and does away with this fraudulent Designated Player nonsense, the status quo will remain.
Either way, Gerrard will have beer thrown at him when he comes to DC.
Apparently Barca are considering bringing Rijkaard back to replace Enrique.
Congrats.

I have issue with ESPN but I do give them credit for having a daily (well 6 days a week) soccer show. But one issue I have with it is that they never talk about the African Cup of Nations.
They are doing coverage of the Asian Cup but I can't get one mention about Africa. And I could argue that there are more EPL players in the ACON than Asian Cup but we all know they not trying to hear it.
