Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema 'furious' with Gareth Bale after Real Madrid defeat
Gareth Bale is in the bad books of the two other members of Real Madrid's 'BBC' attack.
At the weekend Los Blancos lost their first match since September, going down 2-1 to Valencia. It was a result that brought an end to a stunning 22-match winning streak.
With the score at 1-1, Bale had a fantastic opportunity to put Real Madrid back in front having just seen Atonio Barragan equalise Ronaldo's opener from the penalty spot. But with the Wales international bearing down on goal, he opted to continue alone rather than make a simple pass across goal for the unmarked Benzema. A brilliant tackle from Nicolas Otamendi meant the chance went begging and to compound Bale's selfish decision making, minutes later Otamendi went down the other end and put Valencia in front.
Benzema and Ronaldo were pictured during the match showing their frustration and Spanish newspaper Marca report that they are yet to forgive Bale.
"The Real Madrid dressing room have not yet forgiven Gareth Bale for his monumental miss at Mestalla and are still angry with the Welshman," writes J. I. Garcia-Ochoa.
He added: "The Real Madrid players are not angry with Bale for not scoring, but for the decision he made. However, Ronaldo also missed an absolute sitter for Real Madrid and nobody said anything to him."
Video footage of the incident and aftermath shows the anger among Bale's team-mates...
The defeat for Real Madrid gave Barcelona a chance to move top of La Liga, but playing later in the day, they blew their chance by losing to David Moyes' Real Sociedad.

Manchester United are on the brink of signing former Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes on a free transfer.
Valdes, 32, has impressed manager Louis van Gaal enough in a 10-week spell training with United to earn an 18-month contract at Old Trafford, sources told ESPN FC.
He will provide cover for United's first-choice goalkeeper David de Gea, who has been ever-present this season, even if his arrival may prompt speculation that Real Madrid will move for the 23-year-old.
Valdes moved to England in October when Van Gaal gave him the chance to continue his rehabilitation from a cruciate ligament injury at Carrington.
He was invited with a view to becoming a signing, assuming he could prove his form and fitness, and has now satisfied Van Gaal, who first managed him at Barcelona.
The Spain international has not played first-team football for nine months since he was hurt in Barcelona's 3-0 win over Celta Vigo with an injury that forced him to miss the World Cup.
Valdes had already announced his intention to leave the Camp Nou when his contract expired. He made 535 appearances for Barcelona, winning La Liga six times and the Champions League three times.
He will become Van Gaal's seventh signing, after Ander Herrera, Luke Shaw, Marcos Rojo, Angel Di Maria, Daley Blind and Radamel Falcao, and his first of the January transfer window.
His move could also bring an end to the Old Trafford career of Anders Lindegaard, who has been De Gea's deputy.

It's horseshit from MLS. LA and NY always get first dibs, and while I understand the size of those markets, that's no reason for other clubs to have to suffer for this simple reason.

I have issue with ESPN but I do give them credit for having a daily (well 6 days a week) soccer show. But one issue I have with it is that they never talk about the African Cup of Nations.
They are doing coverage of the Asian Cup but I can't get one mention about Africa.
And I could argue that there are more EPL players in the ACON than Asian Cup but we all know they not trying to hear it.
I don't even watch ESPN anymore to be honest, unless it's ESPN Deportes or MNF.

There are a PLETHORA of talent in the African Cup, well before the Asian Cup that should be getting any pub, but we know what white America thinks of the black man running around on TV.
Having already dominated the NFL and NBA, showing the Cup of Nations would just be one more thing that they don't want.
