People don't celebrate christmas because of any religious reason. They do it because of conditioning and tradition. You can just not participate. It's a society thing. Like saying excuse me when you bump someone. Something silly like that.
We don't do christmas. We don't do gifts and all that. We do it all year round. We give gifts and be like merry wednesday. Or whatever other holiday we decide to make up. It's not a big deal.
Don't be so anti about something without a logical valid reason to be anti about it is all i'm saying. sometimes we get so involved in the anti of something you lose the message and it becomes meaningless to those who are hearing it.

havent celebrated or partook in this devil fuckery since fuck 1998 as a younging comin into learnings from some elders, now in my 30s and dont care about it in any shape or form..if people tell me "merry christmas" i just return the same "words" back to them and keep pushing. I dont ask for gifts , dont buy any, my whole family knows.
i dont need dwight mann and his family telling me when to celebrate my mother, my father, my beloved or my heritage or anything that has to do with a free blackman..

The thing about Xmas is what makes it exciting i.e gifts, family gather and food can be done with the whole stupid xmas tree and pagan ritual. It astounds me how every year despite the information being out there you see people do the same thing. The same people putting up xmas trees will be taking about watch out for the illuminati and their demonic symbols and rituals
I don't think my kid nor my kids mom would be too pleased if I told them my son he ain't getting shit cuz we're black so there is no Christmas at my house. I'm not even Christian, it's just a holiday for me to celebrate with family and give my kid some gifts. It ain't even about me or what I feel.

Why not get the kid a present and not tie it into giving credit to some fat white cac who looks he is into kids?? Mixing gifts and the idea of xmas is like pavlov confusing the dogs that the whistle sound and the found are co dependent. Kids would not give a damn if xmas has no gifts or food. I don't celebrate Christmas. Mostof my family and friends do. I celebrate Kwanzaa and I consistently give cards explaining Kwanzaa and give gifts to my people and their kids.
I know people get mad and try and say Christmas is a time for gathering with family and friends. My only objection is celebrating things that are false and were forced upon you by your oppressor is never good and stand in the way of black folks progressing with even minute things. Even the smallest things play a role in our mindset.
We have it off because it's a celebration of the cacs culture not ours and we live under cacs culture. This one of the reasons we have trouble getting together for things that would help US as a people (such as Buying Black). We need to replace cac culture with our own even if it's made up. Peace

I said this a while back, Kwanzaa gained zero traction since I was a kid and folks don't know shit about originator or any government anything. It ain't gain traction cause white folks pay it no mind therefore we pay it no mind.

I haven't personally celebrated Christmas in decades, but I understand those that do. I don't observe hardly any holidays as they are. I pretty much acknowledge my date of birth with little fanfare and no expectation of gifts and things. I like the company of my immediate family to have dinner and conversation. This is also how we observe Thanksgiving in my household.
