People are so used to Kobe chucking that they don't fully realize how demented the shit he's doing really is.
Two times in Kobe's career made me wonder if this nigga had a conscience(There have been others, but these two stood out the most). I mean, REALLY. Not when some player is shooting from anywhere because they're hot. I'm talking about a player repeatedly shooting from anywhere, when they're ice cold.
- In the early 2000s the Lakers played a game against the Celtics in which Kobe was 17-47. That was atrocious enough, but what was really off-putting was, dude got fouled with like a minute left in the game, and he had the most serene look on his face at the FT line ... like, they were two minutes into the 1st quarter.
I was like, 'How can this nigga look so calm after chucking up 47 shots, and bricking WELL over half?!?!?'
- The season Dwight played with LA, there was Sunday game on NBC where Kobe, in the last six minutes of the game, came down and shot EVERY time...
...without making a single pass. Not only did they not win that game, I don't think Kobe hit more than two shots.
