found some info on R* social re: character transfers...wondering if my apartments/cars will transfer...I might sell off all my adders to be safe...from what it sounds like...if you bought a shark card...shark card $$$ will not transfer across platforms...just from PS3 to PS4 or 360 to XB1

There have been 10 million ps4's sold and even less xbox1
There will still be more people on old gen

It's just that once I upgrade consoles, there's pretty much no going back for me.
I bought my One last weekend, and I have dreaded playing my 360, like all I'm thinking about is getting hella games for the One.
I kept all my old consoles like my N64, Sega Saturn, Dreamcast, OG XBOX, PS2, like I was gone play after I upgraded and I never did and now they're just collecting dust in my storage space. Those things aren't worth more than 40 dollars now.
I figure I might as well flip my 360 and GTA while it still has value. I've already sold my other 360 games.

Destiny is the shit too.. I like that game way more than I thought I would.
..only thing is the old gen systems will no longer be supported after the end of next year..

im sure the new gen will get all the rockstar attention, but gta online on ps3/xbox is not going to stop working
you can still play gta 4 online right now
they not just going to ignore 30 million people who already have the game
I think Burgerpimp meant the gaming industry will no longer support last gen hardware. You either hop on the bus or get left behind. After 2015 R* will probably pull dlc support also. The new gen install base will continue to increase and that's more money to go around.

Thats another reason I jumped ship to sony and bought a PS4. The fact that they keep showing PS4 footage could mean it looks like shit for XBOX One
, I hope not but given the track record of GTA killing White Xboxes anything is possible. GTA Online straight bodied my Original XBOX after a few hours.
