MMA is definitely hard to predict. Always interesting to listen to the betting podcasts and oddsmakers in general, etc. MMA math and match-ups are always interesting to size up when looking at records ...

^^^ Not just match ups, though. Also have to consider when those bouts took place. Gus was a different fighter with Jones than he was with Davis. Bader fought a shot Rampage for 3 rounds, but he didn't dominate him like Jones did before finishing him in the 4th... but I feel what you're saying, though: styles do make the fight.

I though Glover was gonna knock Phil Davis out but I guess I was wrong. Some cat said to always bet on black. I guess I may try that. But, I don't see this Mendes dude beating Jose Aldo. They need to give Jose Also better competition. I think Frankie Edgar was the closest thing to beating Aldo.

Yeah man. Styles make fights. Hard sport to bet on. Got some fam' who win thousands on the cards ... I should probably tag along with them. On my own I work too hard for the money to be losin' it betting carelessly. Scary too when cats like HOMINICK go 25 mins with Aldo, and then get KO'd in 7 seconds. Or cats like HENDRICKS knocking out Fitch and Kampmann in 12 and 46 seconds, and going the full 25 mins with GSP and Lawler more recently.

Great fight. Give these guys the FOTN bonus $ already. Solid 3rd round ... both cats still in it, no doubt. I'll watch the lighter weight divisions any day over some of the lumbering light heavy & heavyweight match-ups we've seen on other cards over the years.
