like i said.

Its hard to maintain a killer instinct when you are playing to to lose mode..

Opponents be baiting us to fools gold... What they do is drop the safeties back at the beginning of the game, and then our running game is great.. Then they creep up getting tighter and tighter..
Instead of adjusting, we play it safe by throwing the same tight coverage passes to VD, Boldin or Crabs... Basically they all have the same range and if you cover one you basically are covering them all and on top of that, you this pack defense allows you to cover the short pass rout while defending against the run and the qb scramble..
What they need are plays to offset what the defense is doing..
If the were to throw a real bomb, not a deep slant or a deep hitch, but a play that forces deep help by the safties... Once we start doing that shit, defenses would have to loosen up and the same running results we get at the beginning of the game should be there for us at the end of the game..
Just look how the Bears ground game open up once they got smart and started attacking down field..

again
we didn't run any bunch formation tonight. not any and we didn't spread the field out not once. we played between and cut the offense off. that's what happens when you do. we need to keep the engine running. it's not about throwing bombs it's about spreading them out so they can't cover all the weapons and they didn't do that.

Horribly epic 2nd half collapse !!!
All around fail !!!

Kaepernick was terrible.
He forced things and gave the game away with poor throws.
4 turnovers all from him.
Kaep looked shook the entire 4th quarter.

Jonathan Martin can't pass block.
Why didn't Anthony Davis get surgery sooner, so he would not miss games.
What happened to Iupati, he can't block anyone for shit.
Iupati needs to be benched.

Fangio keeping Ward on Marshall was fucking retarded.
And rookie step your game up please.
No pass rush, no sense of urgency, no discipline on defense.
Like I said before during the preseason...the pass rush is almost non-existent !!!
Also the coverage was not good during the 2nd half.
Giving the Bears WR's too much cushion, thanks to our soft zone prevent defense

Roman with another crap gameplan.
He kept on running read option plays, when the Bears clearly were ready for it this week
Just b/c the Bills had success last week, Roman just kept doing it over & over
He still can't get plays in on time and is abysmal in the redzone
Purposely settling for field goals in the red zone instead of TD's

Despite what others think on here, RoadRage is correct....
When he said i hope they don't think they're just going to "flip the switch" when the season starts.
We do need the preseason to work out the kinks.
FOR ANOTHER WEEK.....this team has been very sloppy & undisciplined

Exactly why I hate the philosophy the coaching staff has.
NO killer instinct or willingness to be aggressive and take chances.
Until our offense develops a killer instinct, we're not winning a 6th Super Bowl.
We don't have a good enough defense right now to be conservative on offense.
What's the point of having all those weapons if you're scared to use them in the redzone.
You dont wait until the post season to do this stuff, you do it now so that your offense is more comfortable in do or die situations in January.

This is one of the big differences between us & Pete Carroll & the Seahawks
NO KILLER INSTINCT !!!
THE COACHES ALWAYS GET CONSERVATIVE WHEN WE HAVE A 2+ TOUCHDOWN LEAD !!!
SAME BULLSHIT, JUST A DIFFERENT YEAR

:furious::furious::furious:

This one was on the coaches more than anything

followed by kap
and followed by the pass rush.

mainly offensive coordinator and jim. i can't blame roman anymore solely. jim allows this shit to happen.

C/S..i'm getting tired of the same BS we always do in a game!!..:smh::smh:

this shit have to stop!!..:smh::smh:

Throwing a bomb once in a while is a way of keeping them honest, so are screens and bunch formations. But like you said, we didn't do shit, and the Bears picked up on that and dared us to run and throw into the teeth of the defense, and thats excactly what we did.. :smh: Matter of fact this is the story of every game we lose.... My question is where is the new offense that Roman was hiding in preseason? When are we going to unroll that shit?

couple things. we didn't run bunch formations. nobody can defend that so we don't do it.

the bears prepared all week for the read option so we ran it.

we didn't run with power with gore even with a loaded box.

we have the wr's to beat them but we didn't run any spread consistently for any period of time.

roman is a jackass and is a worthless piece of shit. i have said this 1 million times.

this was roman being cute and that ended with us losing a game would should have easily done.

im putting none of this on the defense.

they did enough in that 1st half to have this game be put away.

more than enough.

still ended up shutting forte down. marshall had 3 short field td's

the defense did it's job.

we punch in those red zone opportunities all of this stuff is academic.

roman has to go.

On a side note....
If we can't pass protect against The Cowboys & The Bears mediocre defense....
What da hell do you think will happen against the Cardinals D-line & LB's
Iupati & Jonathan Martin are stinking up the joint
Even if Anthony Davis comes back next week, he still will be VERY rusty

Expect Kaep to be running for his life again next week

:smh::smh::smh:

Cutler had 176 yards passing
Forte had 22 yards rushing or something like that 1.8 yards a carry.

the defense did it's fucking job tonight.

the offense shit the bed.

Matt Maiocco ‏@MaioccoCSN 2m

Vernon Davis comes hobbling back to his locker while on crutches.

:smh::smh::smh:

yup

that was a horse collar tackle they didn't call.

carrier did his thing out there tonight though and got into the 20 yard depth on his routes.. he actually CAUGHT THE BALL with his hands and even took a big shot where let's be honest, vernon would've dropped it.

im ok with him filling in for a little bit.

our major problem is pass rush. secondary did great today. we gotta adjust cause they're gonna flag us for EVERYTHING.

but again cutler only had 176 yards passing.
and vic refused to make an adjustment to marhsall in the slot.

we just need pass rush. from SOMEBODY other than justin smith.

corey skuta brooks are not getting it done at all. especially brooks he's supposed to be an all pro

pat played excellent actually middle linebackers played really excellent tonight including wilhoite. we shut that run middle down and shut that run down. pat got 1 pass caught on him that was a perfect pass other than that nothing.

the defense is in great shape imo.

While I agree that Roman's playcalling is pretty bad but.....
HE IS FOLLOWING ORDERS FROM..... HARBAUGH
JUST LIKE FANGIO IS FOLLOWING ORDERS FROM..... HARBAUGH

HARBAUGH IS ALLOWING THIS CONSERVATIVE PLAYCALLING CRAP TO HAPPEN EVERY YEAR

:angry::angry::angry:

nah vic is on his own. jim lets vic do whatever he wants

now jim and roman are together

we need a coach that wants to put up 40 points a game cause we could

and we need a coach that wants to shut the other team out cause we could.

bears are not on our level in any way even when healthy and we let them leave with a win

we have not been 2-0 in this harbaugh era.

we gotta let this one go and come out inspired. and win all the fucking rest.

such a shitty way to open up Levi's..
LBOP you attended right? What did you think of the crowd? I thought it was loud until the refs took the game away.

Definitely not the end of the world, the Niners have lost the second game of the year 4 out of 5 years. So we're in familiar territory. Wish our coaches adjusted their game plans accordingly. I swear these mofos are so stubborn.

Ok folks. Let's calm down a bit. We played a shitty game for 35 minutes in week 2. It happens. We've been down this road before. We'll get it right.

We know about the play-calling. That's Roman being Roman. It's been 6 straight quarters. Hopefully he gets his head out of his ass now... Fangio gets a bad grade also. Can't let him off the hook.

The penalties killed us. We let them stay on the field and continue drives. That something that almost never happens. You know our defense is much cleaner than that.

We shot ourselves in the foot and instead of stopping we started shooting up the leg. That's not us at all. We'll be pissed and come back stronger.

I agree. Vic fucked us last night by being stubborn. No pass rush and refused to play tank.
With dial in the rotation our run defense was fucking superb. our special teams was excellent.

If you're not going to use all the weapons then don't use them. bunch formation last night forces the bears into zone and forces them to back off and let's kap pick them apart.

no power runs. the power runs we broke through. cute runs we did not.

they moved marshall to the slot and he didn't put cook in to stop it.

complete coaching brain fart last night. it was not execution it was the coaches NOT putting the team in a position to win in the 2nd half.

that 1st drive in the 2nd half was great until on 3rd and 6 they decided to do a shotgun hand off instead of try and get in the fucking end zone or get a first down to seal the game.

that is roman

All we need is pass rush and a competent game plan we've got everything else we need period. everything else. at all positions.

we needed dial and carradine to play. especially more carradine when they abandoned the run to get pressure but vic just...

also cook was active so we should have easily slid him into the slot when they were determined to put marshall there

there are fixes
we are the more talented team and we didn't play like it

so no reason to hang our heads or feel like shit is hopeless. it's not.. it's far from it.

dial ian and them made the run game nonexistent like i knew they would

we didn't use tank and we need to until aldon comes back cause brooks isn't cutting it and corey isn't either
lynch is ok but he only has a bull rush at this point and it doesn't work all the time.

secondary played great
short red zone touchdowns made it look like they were getting destroyed

cutler having a high completion percentage had to do with the fact that he had all day to throw. all damn day.

and kap not being able to be in a rhythm was because martin got outclassed last night. he's a backup for a reason he did a good job up to that point.

time to run the rest of the table.

and don't anybody try to play kap.

he had an awful game
but he is allowed to.
it doesn't mean he can't read defenses doesn't mean he can't stay in the pocket doesn't mean any of the bullshit people are going to come out and say
it means he had a bad game.. and it happens

he's the only qb in the nfl where as soon as he messes up EVERYTHING he's done goes out the window and frankly im tired of it especially from 49er fans.

When they say Anthony Davis is coming back??..man, that right side of the o-line is not looking good right now!!..:smh::smh:..that weak ass Jonathan Martin gotta go!!..:smh::smh:

All we need is pass rush and a competent game plan we've got everything else we need period. everything else. at all positions.

Game plan and adjustments. For some reason our coordinators get stuck on something and don't change.

Remember last seasons Colts game. Roman refused to run the ball even though we clearly gashed them with the run for a scoring drive. But his game plan was to read-option throw and he stuck to it.

Shit makes me shake my head...

But we all agree the players hate losing. Especially a game where they know they should have won. I don't care what anyone says about the Cardinals. They're in trouble.

So,let me get this straight...Kap got fined over 11k for something he didn't say......:smh:

He said he didn't say anything that warranted a penalty, not that he didn't say anything at all.

The bears player even said he didn't hear anything..meaning anything that warranted a penalty.

this is the 2nd game in a row. I truly believe the league is sending a message we might have to sit ray mac because these calls have been absolutely ridiculous.

ridiculous

Oh no they're in trouble. I think the NFL is in trouble. That was our Eagles game on the 94' team.

You just took me back playa!!!

I remember that embarrassment. Steve Young on the sideline was going ballistic. He was super pissed. After that game it was lights out! Teams had no chance.

49ers inactives:

TE Vernon Davis TE Vance McDonald CB Tramaine Brock DT Tank Carradine RT Anthony Davis WR Quinton Patton C Marcus Martin

Kaep better watch out, on the right side of the O-line
Big Softy will probably give up a lot of pressure yet again

Carlos Hyde is a little nicked up, so not sure how effective he will be
Curious to see how well Brandon Lloyd & TE Derrick Carrier play
Also curious to see Dial & Lynch, & how much pressure they can put on the QB
Watching Jimmy Ward should be interesting
I'm sure the Cards will line up Fitz in the slot against Ward

:popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:

Derek Carrier is a guy we've had in the wings for a while. He's athletic and has good hands. He can step up in the same way Brock stepped up last season.
