I had heard this, but didn't see an official news release. I haven't had as much time to follow this the last couple of days. If true, I think they actually thought they would be able to sweep this under the rug because the victim was black and they were so used to going unquestioned. The cop was on the scene for a few hours afterward, according to what I have read, but didn't do an incident report? I thought there had to be a report anytime an officer fires his gun, even if a misfire.
Edit: This doesn't sound right. There was something I read about reporters requesting an incident report. It was in reference to the robbery video. The report about the robbery supposedly referenced one or two incident report numbers regarding Michael's death, as the robbery report was done after the incident reports regarding Michael Browns death. Let me see if I can find it.

I just found this searching for the news story about them not filing a report. This is the one from St.Louis County referenced in my post above. Notice it is listed as a homicide, I don't know if that is an indication of guilt, or how they would term it when someone is killed regardless of if the killing is "justified" or not.
