Police just executed an unarmed 17 yr old brotha (shot 10 times)

This happens without fail every single month. Someone needs to put together a comprehensive list of people murdered in cold blood by police. I'm talking about Ramali Graham, the football player in Florida, the young girl in Detroit, the buy in Staten Island, to this young man.

Every single month there is another one. If they're all listed in one place we can put pressure on people in our own communities to stop any and all support of their businesses. Economics. We need to stop supporting them... at every turn where possible.

Describe them.

Anonymous #OpFerguson. Shit has hit the fan in Missouri

"The revolution doesn't require rims"

The mayor has stated anyone that shows up for the rally this morning in Ferguson will be arrested.

That's one (bad) way to go about it.

That was the plan all along... show up in riot gear to provoke the residents, deny right to assemble once things got out of hand.

The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion, impeding the free exercise of religion, abridging the freedom of speech, infringing on the freedom of the press, interfering with the right to peaceably assemble or prohibiting the petitioning for a governmental redress of grievances.

and the sad part is, so many dudes on here are quick to think we make this shit up.. that we're just making up some shit about institutional racism.. and everything isn't racism..

people want to act like this shit ain't real no matter how many times it keeps happening.

check yourselves

this shit can happen to you too.

yes you, even though you might think you're a "good black" you're just BLACK to them.

Funny how some of them don't understand that :smh:

To be fair, no law was passed. Thats an interesting precedent the mayor is making. On one hand you dont want a repeat of last night, on the other you cant demand people stay in their homes. Well, let me put it this way: they can't arrest everyone and those arrested should have the case dimiss.

Youre looking at it wrong. Its not that they dont understand, its they just dont care... Until it happens to them. Its like when cacs come out in favor of saftey nets when theyve been against it forever. Those people lack an imagination.

No, I think some black people think they're special. They don't stay in the hood. They have white friends. They don't dress like "them".

Don't you have to lawfully arrest someone? Laws justify the actions of police

Here's what they think about you:

Wisconsin has been trying to get around this by arresting protestors that do not have a permit to assemble. I don't think Mo has such a requirement (permit).

So wait a rancher that owes the federal government 1million dollars in back taxes, allows his herd to feed on federal land against multiple warnings, THEN HAS ARMED militia with his own snipers, on his property to protect him and his live stock, and has a confrontation with Armed national guardsmen, and NO ONE IS EVER ATTESTED.

Yet Black people are threatened with arrests for the right to protest a murdered young man in public?

Man burn that shit down. And FUCK OBAMA for not sending in the national guard to protect the CITIZENS from the police, when they know shit is about to get hot.

shit like this is maddening

The guy from dc via chi town cant just send troops. The gov has to make a request. Last night I read the gov did deckare but apparently that was incorrect. This is still a local issue.

In Egypt during their brouhaha, there was kooting. In the Ukraine a few months back, there was looting. If the police were to be inclined, they could just scan the license plates of the cars that pulled up and received certain items. Opportunists comes with the territory.

Most of our people are not interested in ending white supremacy. Most of our people are simply looking for a better position under white supremacy. This is why they act as if they don't understand how serious the issues are for poor and disenfranchised blacks. Hell they even act that way when one of there own so called "elite blacks" get arrested like the presidents friend.

No police union would ever agree to those terms

That's actually part of a petition he has set up, wanting federal guidelines.

Please Enact New Federal Laws to Protect Citizens from Police Violence and Misconduct

I love good police officers. I have them in my immediate family. Like all civil servants they are underpaid and under-resourced for a difficult job.

However, a long and completely avoidable history of violence by police officers has killed too many innocent civilians, caused a destructive level of mistrust in the community, and is causing a rising tide of anger, frustration, and despair among millions of good people.

This petition is for Amadou Diallo - shot at 41 times. An innocent, hardworking man simply reaching for his wallet, Diallo should be alive today.

This petition is for Sean Bell - shot at over 50 times and killed on his wedding day.

This petition is for Oscar Grant - handcuffed with his hands behind his back for breaking a fight on the subway - Oscar was shot in the back and killed by a police officer while sitting down.

This petition is for Chavis Carter - arrested for marijuana, searched, handcuffed with his hands behind his back, and put into the back of a police car. Chavis is then said to have somehow killed himself with a gun.

This petition is for Wendell Allen - just 20 years old - police busted into a house and shot him in the heart - killing him. He wasn't who they were looking for.

This petition is for Eric Garner - choked to death on YouTube for the entire world to see. While the coroner has deemed his death a homicide, we must change the laws to prevent this from ever happening again.

This petition is for these men, and for many other unarmed men and women who have been killed by the police. It is unacceptable for the police to serve as JUDGE, JURY, and EXECUTIONER. The recent murders of Eric Garner, Michael Brown and John Crawford this past month at the hands of police have so inflamed communities across the country that we believe we are reaching a tipping point of anger.

It is our hope to channel this collective anger into effective policy solutions that will not only make life safer for citizens, but will restore confidence in police, and bring hope to hopeless families and communities devastated by these egregious acts of violence.

Our 5 Policy Solutions Are As Follows:

1. The shooting and killing of an unarmed citizen who does not have an outstanding warrant for a violent crime should be a federal offense.

2. Choke holds and chest compressions by police (what the coroner lists as the official cause of death for Eric Garner) should be federally banned.

3. All police officers must wear forward-facing body cameras while on duty. They cost just $99 and are having a signficant, positive impact in several cities around the United States and the world.

4. Suspensions for violations of any of the above offenses should be UNPAID.

5. Convictions for the above offenses should have their own set of mandatory minimum penalties. The men who killed Diallo, Bell, Grant, Carter, Garner, and others all walk free while over 1,000,000 non violent offenders are currently incarcerated in American prisons.

These federal actions are in the best interest of our country. We will direct our anger, our dollars, our votes, and our voice to seeing them happen all across the country.

Someone earlier asked if there was a compilation of incidents of black ppl being killed. I came across this:

There is a pdf link but I haven't looked at it yet.

Focusing on the looting is a distraction, in any civil unrest a few will take advantage of lawlessness. If those companies had any stake in the community, jobs, opportunities, involvement, etc...less people would be inclined to destroy or loot them.

The media will push this narrative to neglect the system that is failing, that causes the riots.

Collectively black Americans have 4 cents for every white American dollar. There is a level of frustration that boils into this and every protest. Frustration rooted in inequality and oppression.

The revolution does not require RIMS but don't let that misdirection confuse you. This is about living like POWs in our own country

We want to fight back then let's start this campaign:

Show Us The Money!

We have to start holding elected official accountable for not doing any work in the black community. You want our votes then it is time to show us the money!! It is time for us to stop voting for politicians who do noting to advance us after we gift our votes to them loyally. We need elected officials who will make sure communities and enterprising people in those communities get access to capital. If the people we elect don't bring us access to capital or infrastructure then we need to put them on full blast for not doing what we elected them to do. We need access to capital to build institutions to provide services. We let elected officials take us for granted they dust us off every election cycle then they ignore us. That has to stop. We need to take a page out of the Tea Party playbook(they jacked ours by the way) and put fire to those who uses our black votes. You see how the tea partiers are purging the republican party and advancing their agenda. The gays are getting showed the money. Other groups are demanding the money and they are getting it. We need to be doing the same. Any politician who approaches us no matter what party they are and if they are not showing us money need to push the fuck on and piss off! People will say what does I just typed have to do with this tragedy?...but those who see the bigger picture will understand what I mean and how the "Show Us The Money" applies. When you are powerless economically it is hard to prevent shit like this from happening.

Show Us The Money!
