the story is very suspect. Why would the kid magically just go attack and fight a cop in his own car? Beyond that, the shots that killed the kid occurred outside of the car when the offer was in no danger.
Unless someone has some footage of this shit, they are going to try to cover up this shit....and even if there is footage, I wouldn't be surprised if the officer gets off scott free.

mayors controls and elects/appoints police chiefs; thats were we need to start in my opinion; all pressure needs to be put on the mayors of these citys; some say violence which im not oppose to but you bets believe if violence erupted; we wouldnt just be fighting the police; the national guard, fbi, etc would be called in; if these cops started going to jail and being tried for murder for these killings i guarantee you this shit would stop; mayors and city councils and governors make the laws; we have to start there...
i live in a city with a black mayor and black police commissioner.
doesnt matter the color of the mayor and/or police commissioner; these officers need to be tried for murder; not anything else but murder; the police chief/commissioner is protecting these officers; that has to change; i guarantee you if officers started getting charged and tried for murder, this shit would stop overnight; also the federal attorney general needs to be involved as well because he is supposedly top law dude...

Researched information I'm finding is that the sculptor ORIGINALLY had no intention of it being a tribute to the deaths of slaves either thrown overboard or those who willingly jumped overboard to escape slavery. But he is pleased that his art is being viewed and valued by so many people on so many different levels. He's pretty much left it open to interpretation by the viewer after seeing how so many people have taken it as a powerful memoriam to those lost during slavery.....

I told her that I'm been active since Michael Stewart and Eleanor Bumpurs. And that with video, people, especially young people should be out there mobilizing. We all want to see some form of justice with both cases. And I fear that you may be right with parts of your comment. But I still hold to the economic boycott and the fallout that it can create. Black people do account for a lot of money passing through this country. It's just our mindset in regards to that info that needs to be seriously worked on.
