Kevin Love Traded for Wiggins, Bennett, and future pick

Tell em! Fool said Blake Griffin and Davis are better. This guy averages about 4 assist a game while on Minnesota. Also love it's only 24! Hrs not even neat his prime yet.
Anyone saying Love is a better basketball player than Anthony Davis needs to dumb slapped out of them. Twice.

I mean that in the most respectful way possible.

Anthony Davis is the next MVP level superstar in the NBA. He will be this generations version of Tim Duncan. Not as great but in that mold.

A big question is what type of coach David Blatt is going to be... Is he going to be the armchair coach Spo was, allowing the players to coach themselves or will he be a X and O type of guy and run a system like most European coaches..
We do know he is an offensive guy, but what does he know about the NBA brand of ball and rules. And what about defense, is he the guy who can create a defensive scheme that utilizes the talent on the floor..
Plus a big question is, how long will it take for the players to buy into the system..
This is why I say the Cavs have way more talent than the Bulls, however they also have more questions that need to be answered..

That's because Irving is an entitled schmuck. He's gonna be the new charmers. Lebron bout to verbally abuse him

The locker room situation will be an interesting one indeed. The reason why Waiters is called a headcase is because he calls Irving on his shit.

He won't have to do that with Lebron around. Waiters will benefit both on the court and in the locker room with Lebron.

Irving is going to have to stop his premaddona horseshit.

Load up and still lose

When Paul George broke his leg, I etched in the Hornets to the Eastern Conference Finals with the Cavs as their opponents.
Adding Love does nothing to make me think the Cavs are a legit Finals contender. They could make it but I wouldn't have traded a budding star like Wiggins for anything.

Funny how espn radio is saying the same thing I been saying. This trade works more for Cleveland. Again everyone is talking about Wiggins rotting in Minnesota.

These guys have had lottery picks since 2005 and only have Kevin Love to show for it.

Almost a decade of lottery picks and one fucking player has developed.

Wiggins camp is pissed about. Wiggins value was going to increase next to LeBron and the new Cavs.

I hope Wiggins develops okay but u can't trust Minnesota front office

Look at the trade this way.... Teams don't win championships until their players get sick and tired of losing... Often teams are so happy making the playoffs they they actually think that's the goal, just look at teams like Indiana, the Clippers and the Warriors... If those teams want to take the next step, they have to get sick and tired of losing in the playoffs, and not get happy just to make it there..
With the Cavs, those young kids have to be surrounded by vets who know how precious and hard it is to win it all.. Winning it all is not fun, its not games, its not looking pretty, its ugly, hard, humbling, and hard work...
You can see in the case of the Heat how it can break you down mentally and physically...
The only ones who win it all, are those willing to give it all up for the ring... And if those young Cavs players think its going to be fun and games, man they are in for a rude awakening..
I bet you LeBron is going to be 10x more harder on them than he was on Chalmers, because they have much more talent than Rio so the expectations are going to be much higher.. And folks looking for the Heat 2.0 in Cleveland are going to be disappointed, because I go the feeling that it wont be about fun and games and showtime, but instead bare knuckles blue collared work and grind.

 you can't be serious. First round out

Lets not project too far... Davis is great and I rank him the best, but then again so is Love, Blake and Aldridge they are all great and in the same ballpark, lets not make it seem like one is way better than the others..

 you can't be serious. First round out

Man only on BGOL do you have people saying that Wiggins, a guy who scored 4pts vs Stanford in the 2nd round NCAA loss, would lead them further than a 3x All-Star and former rebounding champ..

Man please stfu. You argued me that the Spurs wouldn't win one game against Miami. You have zero credibility.

Anthony Davis is a franchise player. Kevin is not. Period.

Anthony Davis numbers last year now and compare those to Kevin love.

Anthony Davis will be a top 3 player

You also said the Heat was going to lose in every series in the playoffs over the past three seasons... Kuddos for you for going 1 out of 12...

No doubt, thats why I rank him top PF, but love came in 11th in the mvp voting, assuming that Davis was top five, that places them still in the same ballpark...

They both were franchise players who teams built around, and the Wolves wound up 40-42 while the Pelicans were 34-48, stick to the better over all talent argument..

How can you blame Love for his teams losing, and then give credit to Anthony Davis...his team loses too

Davis defense is a lot better, but the jury is still out on him

You are a lying piece of shit.

And one player is a 5 year vet and one just finished his second season. Huge difference. Love has never sniffed the playoffs. Franchise player is one a team can cement as the building piece on a contending team. Love is not that. He also isn't in the same stratosphere defensively as Davis. Again, stfu.

Davis is in year two. Love is in year 6. And anyone saying the jury is still out on Davis hasn't watched him play. They aren't in the same category. One is a franchise player. The other is a great complimentary piece.

Thats why I say until he can lead a bunch of scrubs to the promise land, then you can say he is head and shoulders better but until then, Davis is better, but Love is still at least in the ball park..

And he has yet to play 70 games :dunno:

 @ the jury stil out on Davis... mofos see what they want to see to fit their narrative in explaining their bullshit

Minn should now trade Wiggins for Thompson if they want him that bad

Nah I always said, even before the draft, that Wiggins needs at least one more year in college.. Look at it this way, next year he will be starting for the State of Minnasotta T-Wolves...

Cleveland is the frontrunner.

Wizards are close second.

Knicks may be able to sneak up on the East.

Both of them are injury prone

But Love has at least played 80 games.

What has been New Orleans record the past two years?

If Love was black he would be considered one of the best ever. This thread is starting to look real evident. Davis has virtually no offensive game. His points are inflated cause of his team. His defense is ill tho. Love is a game plan nightmare. Even in Hess to head games Love had his easy with him. Let's just say if Love was on the pelicans they be the playoffs, David on the wolves would be worst.

pelicans
Love
Gordon
Holiday
Anderson
Evans

Crazy

Hmm, I still see some of you bruhs trying to engage that derelict Roadrage. Peace to you niggas.

Let's see how effective Love is with third scorer touches.

People don't realize that Wiggins, and he may fulfill his potential, doesn't put Cleveland over the top. Love gives them a Top 3 at his position inside presence, can stretch the defense and rebounds better than anyone in the league in terms of consistence. While Wiggins is a big gamble to let go, essentially him and LeBron play the same position. What people don't understand is, LEBRON DOESNT WANT TO BE A 4!!!!

Cleveland wasn't winning anything with Wiggins because they would basically be a team full of slashers and you saw what happened to the Heat last year when they got murdered do to know true dominant player at the 4 or 5...

This trade makes them damn near impossible to guard, and they have studs at 4 positions now!! All this Love doesn't defend shit, so I guess every other major superstar in the league made 1st team all defense huh? You Dudes act like he's James Harden or something?!?! He might not be a stopper, but I don't really remember him getting constantly torched either!

My Cavs will win the chip either this year or next, and LeBron is proving to be the most powerful man in the NBA!!
