How can you take what I say as a knock against Love... That said in reality not only is Davis better, so is Blake and Aldridge but whats the big deal, they are all in the same ball park, in terms of skill..
Can we stop talking about defense. This team was ranked 16th last year with nobody. Now they have LeBron and Marion. That alone will put them in the top 10. They will be fine.

I think its going to be interesting seeing what defensive and offensive schemes they will run, this team is so unlike any other LeBron James team, we are talking about all the other players having to adjust, when James will be forced to make more adjustments than ever in his career..

Once the Cavs signed LeBron and Irving they didn't have the money for Love, what you talking about? In order to go into the tax the player have to already on your team, you can't just go out and sign them. If that's the case Brooklyn would have the best team every year.

How? Miami was ranked 16th in defense last season (in terms of opponent field goal percentage) and that was with Lebron. Adding Lebron but putting Love out there with both Irving and Waiters is not going to make Cleveland a top 10 defensive team.
You cats have learned nothing from the last 4 years. Miami won those two seasons because of their perimeter defense. This year, they wouldn't defend and got ran by the Spurs. The offense wasn't the problem. It was the defense.
This current Cavs team, as built, isn't build to beat a top WC team in the traditional way. They're just going to have to score their way to a title without getting stops.
The intriguing thing about Lebron being back in Cleveland was with a squad that looked like a mini-Spurs...lots of youth, talent, and depth.
Could this work out? Yes.
But you're taking a major risk with a starting lineup with both Love and Irving..two players that miss a lot of time to injury.
Go back to the Heat regular season thread, and I was killing them for not making moves, lack of rebounding and I said the Heat would go as far as their outside shooting takes them...
I also said that last years felt different from previous years when they won, and that they had their hands full trying to over come these problems..
I did also say they stepped up their game during the playoffs, but after Wade and Chalmers lost their legs in the finals, it was done..
At first I thought they would shake it off and all would be fine, but after game 4 I knew they were shot, and you can not win with guards who can't guard, because it puts to great of a stress on the rest of the defense..

AGREE Man I know Love is good and all that..........BUT Bennett is only 2 years outta HS abd Wiggins only 1. Both of these dudes COULD be better than Love. Wiggins SHOULD be better than Love. Wiggins projects as a generational player. I woulda let them play with James and Kyrie....imagine how good Wiggins woulda been with that lineup!!!!!! Each year better and better, Wiggins woulda been All-Star second year in Cleveland. Bennett woulda been great there also. To me, Cleveland Fucked up. I don't think you understand how good Love is. Only Wilt Chamberlain, Moses Malone and Tim Duncan have had more double doubles in a season. Wiggins should NOT be better than Love.
Why are people acting like it's just Love who came to this team. Are you guys forgetting the best player in the WORLD is there also. This team is far better than what LeBron had in Miami. Outside of year one Wade, Irving is Bette, Love is better than bosh. They have better shooters, better rebounders an actual center.

You won't find ONE GM in the entire league that would take Love over Davis. You can built a team around Davis. (because he can play on both sides of the ball). You can't do that with Love.
They don't have a choice. Wiggins and Bennett probably gonna start for them. Well, maybe not Bennett. But Wiggins will start of them and they're gonna rush his development. You just never know how young players adapt to that.
The player Minnesota really wanted from GS (Thompson) was never apart of the deal.

Pre draft I agree. As is now, I think you're wrong. Love solves a lot of issues that Davis doesn't. Besides defense, deals has no value over Love.
If I were them I would start Bennett, I think he has a confident issue, and by starting him, its sending the right signal that we think you are or guy and we are behind you 100%
