He shouldn't have even let the driver know where he is sticking his dick. Nigga doing dumb shit.

nigga will do his own dirty work killing somebody but he need his driver to deal w/ some side ass

Re: 50 Cent's New Show, POWER season premier

man, i still am not understanding that shit. :smh:

and i know that the writers are saying that dwade is getting manipulated by ghost's wife. but dwade can't be that fucking dumb. :smh:

pussy kills man...I don't have a hard time believing anything the women have motivated the characters to do outside of ghost bringing angie around the driver

You don't see how a young dumb 19/20 year old hood nigga can be manipulated by a bad ass sexy 30 year old woman who is ego stroking him and teasing him with the pussy?

it's not just tasha spinning him but his pops as well...remember his pops told him basically take what's yours...maybe he feels being 50's son kind of "shields" him to an extent bcuz of how close he thinks 50 + ghost are...if he survives the finale I expect to see him to have a bigger role next season esp. if/when his father is released

I get you now  I thought he was just gonna let her draw her own conclusions but seeing them both camped outside the chic apt surprised me

This is 101. The way I hear people talk about the show, it's as if they're not paying attention. Cats debating which is better for Ghost :smh::smh: The writers spell it out. Ghost wants to be legit and being with Angela feeds that desire more. The wife and Tommy still want to hold on to that street shit. If case yall didn't know, let me share something with you: if a chick is not supportive of you when you're trying to improve, lose her. Kids or not, get rid of her.

Yeah man I've noticed some people commenting on the show here & other places saying Tasha is loyal to him. They clearly don't get it. She THINKS she is loyal but really she is selfish. If she was truly loyal she would support him and whatever he thinks is best for the family, especially since he is providing EVERYTHING for her. People are missing that all her so-called loyalty is motivated by her own self-interest. Wanting to be the bosses wife, wanting him to stay in the game to keep drug money coming in so she can continue her lifestyle, etc. She doesn't even care about the potential danger it could put her kids in one day. Ghost grew up and she didn't.

Re: 50 Cent's New Show, POWER season premier

true not to mention how she reacted to seeing ghost w/ angie that 1st time in the club waaay before she had any confirmation that something was going on between them...that's what started the whole thing w/ her and the driver if memory serves me correct...neither of them are loyal to each other @ this point...I'm curious to see how the writers deal w/ her character...will she be killed...will she just split and be written off the show...or will she split but become a major problem in ghost's plans...either working w/ the police or 50 or some shit of her own???

Re: 50 Cent's New Show, POWER season premier

him killing rolla should have been a bigger deal than it was..

the thing about the Wire was that the writers made you LOVE those characters

no build up.. they didn't show rolla enough.. no back story

Re: 50 Cent's New Show, POWER season premier

I'm with you on this...I only remember roller in 2 or 3 scenes. ..no back history. ..they played it out like he was ghost's ace!

Rolla's been in EVERY episode, but his closeness to Ghost has only been brought up in the last few eps, we ALWAYS saw Rolla talking to his boy in the hearse, but if Rolla & Ghost were so close, why would Ghost put a body part in Rolla's hearse, treating him the same way as Ruiz, who got a head hanging outside his apartment?!?:hmm:

Re: 50 Cent's New Show, POWER season premier

By the way, it was some hoe shit for Ghost to wack his boy that he raised like that on some shit he didn't properly investigate and give the right amount of time to. I know they got to fix their situation but that wasn't cool. Ghost looking more and more like a lame. He fucking up in the streets and he definitely fucking up with that throwback pussy. He shouldn't have even let the driver know where he is sticking his dick. Nigga doing dumb shit.

Didn't properly investigate?!?

His two MOST TRUSTED PEOPLE told him that it was Rolla, from two different POV's, further, he was under a time constraint which would lead to a war if he didn't comply, something that their crew IS NOT equipped for, you're also forgetting what Lobos told him, that if he had to come in and handle ish in NYC again, he'd have no reason to stay with Ghost/Tommy, but I DEFINITELY agree on the driver tip, his driver should not have ANY INFO that could be used against him, PERIOD!!!

Re: 50 Cent's New Show, POWER season premier

What do you mean? I've never seen true detective, but weren't they given 20+ episodes? I didn't know HBO 8-10 whatever deals

Didn't know that. The female writer is golden girl right now so I dont see how she wouldn't know about character development.

While I agree with you for the most part, I'm just not buying this whole thing with how Ghost acting. Example, when he was supposed to have a sitdown with Ruiz and the others to "look them in the eye" he blew it off because the police were there and wanted to meet..tell them they can come back later or something and that he's at another meeting.

You missed the point, the SAME way Stringer started fucking up when he took his eye off the ball being involved with B+B Enterprises ("playing those away games" as Avon put it), Ghost is doing the exact same thing with the club, Tommy noticed it a long time ago, you saw his reaction when Ghost said he wasn't going to New Jersey to see "Marlo"(lol) and it's also why he went & told Ruiz FIRST about Rolla, Ghost should've been @ that sitdown, no question about it!

I disagree. Two different things. Stringer was out of his depth when he was attempting to go legit. Ghost has a knack for the shit. All relevant parties agree. It's Tommy and the wife that's against just because it's not street shit. You see how things fall apart whenever Tasha and Tommy get involved (messages aren't delivered because Tasha chooses to delete messages, Tommy explicitly doing what Ghost asked him not to do messing with that bitch in the club). Now the whole operation and the club is at risk because the wife and Tommy is not thinking long term and just satisfied with taking meaningless risks.

Ghost on the other hand is scoring industry parties and a few moves away from being multi-city and international with his brand. Tommy and Tasha threatens that with their lack of vision. Angela the lawyer, who wants the best for Ghost, undoubtedly supports that. Remember what he tells Angela when she asks how the dinner with Stern goes, "I should have taken you." I think what he was really saying was, "It should have been you.", he should have married her.

DON'T get it twisted, I AGREE on EVERYTHING that you've said, that's NOT what I'm referring to, simply that EVERYTHING involving the drug game has taken a back seat to his club operation, that's all, he's NOT making individual mistakes, but after making the deal with Lobos the drug game is no longer his top priority, first it was just the club, now it's the club and Angela, how many times have we seen him decline phone calls from Tommy now, do you think that that happened when they were angling to get Lobos' business?!?

Ghost staying @ the club to deal with those cops is who he has become, this is what the writer's CLEARLY are showing.

Tommy & Ghost are supposed to be partners, but Tommy's been doing ALL the legwork, do you think Tommy would've driven out to Forest Hills (one of the funniest scenes in the show, IMHO) if Ghost had been paying the proper attention to the drug side?!?

Undercutting your competitor isn't really shrewd thinking, but how he got into position to do so was, funny how even the White boy didn't even realize this, Ghost had to shut him up with the quickness when they had that meeting in Stern's office, mofo was spilling the beans, lol!

Ghost said he should have taken her because Tasha, @ her core, is still HOOD, Angela would've known how to speak, and more importantly, known when NOT to speak, even though she was right IT WASN'T HER PLACE TO ANSWER STERN, it was Ghost', but he still supported her, even though she essentially stepped on him, that ish reminded me of back when the Saints won the SB, it was Reggie Bush' moment to shine, yet Kim K grabbed the mic, kinda even makes it more plausible that it was Tasha that set up Kaynan, so that Ghost could become TOP DOG!

I'm also curious as to who exactly is handling the books @ the club, because somewhere the drug money that Tommy's depositing HAS TO reconcile with the club's own numbers, or the IRS WILL come a callin'!!!
