I guess I shouldn't speak for everyone, but I'm speaking from my personal experiences and somewhat allegorically. I guess I can expound by saying that when we identify ourselves by the quantity or numerical value of things we own we can eventually end up feeling trapped. I'm the type of person that likes being able to move on the fly or travel lightly if need be.

If you are familiar with minimalist or buddhist ideologies you may understand this point of view.

Line of the episode: "...And no coconuts 'cause I'm allergic to nuts."

Angie doesn't realize she's running a honeypot and might end up getting a break in the case due to the power of her punani. It'll serve Ghost right for being caught up in a high school fantasy and cheating on his wife. Plus, Tommy laid it out: when Tasha finds out she'll go scorched earth on all of them.

So what happened to Debbi Morgan's character? Tasha mentioned her ("Big Mama") but she hasn't been seen in several episodes. And yikes, having Tasha sing at her own birthday party may have been a shark-jumping moment. I hope this isn't eventually going lead to her and Kanan doing a duet (after he gets out of prison, of course).

Yeah..I been on her since she used to walk around in her underwear on Soul Food. She's bout a decade older now, but I was still hoping they could work her naked titties into the story line somehow. Shawn may as well bang her to since he's gonna die anyway.

This is like Breaking Bad minus the great acting and stellar writing.

The chase b/w Angela and Ghost i.e. Hank and Walter iswn't nearly as compelling.

Still watchable tho.

last episode was just corney on so many levels. Tasha needs work on her "just waking up" faces. Tommy loves this hoe that much, that he just recently met, and is willing to lie to his best friends for her? Tommys chic knew the party was for Tasha, yet she still wore those earrings there?

First Angela doesnt want Ghost there, then lets him in when he gets there, they fuck, he has to go, and now she is all sad, because as she knows, he is married with kids.

i've never been to jail, but do they really allow cell phones in there? If not, that whole mirage is becoming a little annoying.

but i am looking forward to the next episode after Angela hearing "Ghost" and "Tommy" on the tape.

I'd have had a problem with this too if I hadn't messed around with a chick whose brother used to call her all the time from cell phones while he was in prison. They used to smuggle them shits in all the time.

these are bullshit criticisms...women act like that all the time (indecisive as hell re: their feelings w/ men esp. those they're not "supposed" to be w/)...cellphones get sneaked into prisons a lot...there was a big story a while ago about a prison in NO I believe where prisoners not only had cellphones...but they had jewelry cash drugs and were making videos and uploading them to facebook...the show has its faults...but either you're being extremely naive or critical w/ these two points

im not complaining about these things happening in the show, im talking about them being cliches. The writing can be a little better when it comes to these things. I'm still watching the show, so obviously i dont hate. If that were the case, i would have given up on it.

you are misunderstanding what i meant, or maybe i used the wrong wording. My point is, they keep showing this type of image (even though it may not be real, which is what a mirage is, right?) in shows.

the show overall does have a lot of cliches tho...I agree w/ you on that...not too much originality esp. when it comes to ghost tommy + angela...I actually find some of the side characters pretty interesting...the driver and the snitch for instance

No, they NORMALLY don't allow cell phones in prison, but in case you haven't noticed 50's character is being treated like a BAWSE, he had dude in a headlock in their cell and the guard simply said "You have a visitor!" and kept his head down, and while he was talking to his son he told him that he could talk there WHILE a guard was standing RIGHT THERE!!!

The chick wearing Angela's earrings to her own party was extremely far-fetched, I could work with it if it happened immediately after she left Tommy's, but it was later that night.:smh:
