Dog..... Granger should be happy he got ANY deal. Dude played in like 50 games the last 2 years
and he's nowhere near the player he was 3-5 years ago. Plus Rondo is an asshole..... I think when he says it he actually means it.

This. Hardens problem is that he doesn't put effort on the defensive end but he has the skills to play defense. When he was with OKC he gave the effort, I remember he used to play good D on Kobe. After the Rockets lost to the Blazers, he admitted that his defense wasn't the best and he's gonna work on that in the off season.
I expect him to be a better defender this season since the book is out on him.

He got a longer term contract and considering his declining health, Wade would likely have zero leverage to negotiate a significant contract in 2016 for two more years.
