the way mexico has been winning is because ochoa has been unbelievable and has stopped about at least 12 or 13 for sure goals that would have put mexico OUT of the tournament. so the defensive argument is done they have none.
they win because they keep pressure up and attack and score.
they got up 1 goal and then shut it down. didn't try to go forward didn't try to keep possession and took out offensive players in favor of a futile defense attempt...

Hey in all seriousness though, had Mexico played anyone but the Dutch, I would've cheered for them as CONCACAF brethren. They should be proud of their performance though. They made it tough indeed.
