Fam, I kid you not this dude said Kwahi Leonard ain't black enough like he some Russell Wilson type dude or something.

Road Rage and Queen T were talking some of the most ridiculous shit. Them 20 points ass whoopings had them dudes losing their fucking minds talking crazy. If you root for Leonard or the Spurs you're a cac.

And then tried to make the Heat out to be Civil Rights activists because they took pay cuts and did a cac owner a FAVOR by taking the pay cuts. He didn't even have to use his mid-level.

That was the funniest NBA finals thread ever in the history of BGOL. Pleas were copped.

Re: ~*~2014 NBA OffSeason Thread - Draft 6/26 ~*~

What made it most funny was seein a bunch of dudes SUDDENLY become Spurs fans. They put down their Laker flag, their Mavs flag, their Knicks flag, etc and PRETEND to be Spurs fans to enjoy their win.

Dudes turned Kawhi Leonard into Scott Pip in that thread. :smh:

Get ready for another 3-4 years of waiting for that "great hope" to beat the Heat

LeBron James still seeking a max contract
LeBron James is seeking a full max contract extension "or something close to it" to stay in Miami, according to Yahoo! Sports.
Dwyane Wade and Udonis Haslem have already officially opted out while Chris Bosh should be opting out in the very near future. LeBron would be eligible for a five-year, $130 million deal and obviously deserves it as a four-time MVP. Today's developments speak volumes about LeBron staying in Miami and it would be a shock to see him land anywhere else at this point.

The Pelicans will not make Brian Roberts a qualifying offer, making him an unrestricted free agent.
He had a golden opportunity late in the year with Jrue Holiday out for the season, but he kind of squandered it. Roberts shot just 39.9 percent from the field after the All-Star break while he was able to win the free-throw percentage crown on the season at 94.0 percent. He'll get a deal as a backup point guard somewhere.

Re: ~*~2014 NBA OffSeason Thread - Draft 6/26 ~*~

Lakers don't give Bazemore a qualifying offer
The Lakers did not make Kent Bazemore a qualifying offer, making him an unrestricted free agent.
The Lakers are just clearing up some cap space here, but they won't be able to match offers on him. Bazemore tore a tendon in his foot to end his season, but he should be healthy. The Lakers may try to bring him back on a multi-year deal, but they'll probably wait until the smoke clears on the high-profile players.

Re: ~*~2014 NBA OffSeason Thread - Draft 6/26 ~*~

Dwyane Wade officially opts out of contract
Dwyane Wade has opted out of his contract and is now a free agent.
If they weren't already, the Heat just became the heavy favorites to bring back LeBron James. Wade is leaving a ton of money on the table with the $42 million he would have had in the next two years after he made it clear he's no longer a max player. Of course, the Heat will give him a nice amount of money in a long-term deal. They will now look to retool their roster and add some extra weapons. Chris Bosh will be opting out in the very near future.

BOS sends qualifying offer to Avery Bradley
The Celtics have extended a qualifying offer to Avery Bradley, making him a restricted free agent.
It was a no-brainer after Bradley really came on last season. He was a bit of a late bloomer despite how he was rated as one one the best prospects out of high school -- many had him higher than John Wall -- and he still has room to grow at age 23. The move to shooting guard has worked out well and the Celtics will likely match almost any offer.

What do y'all think about Pau Gasol on the Heat?

????
Wade
James
Bosh
Gasol

Re: ~*~2014 NBA OffSeason Thread - Draft 6/26 ~*~

for?

the lane has to be clear for wade and james otherwise bosh would have been in the paint where pau would play.

Supposedly there's a tweak of the offensive and defensive scheme's...

I meant if the like Gortat, Pau probably would sign at a cheaper rate...

Pau would go to phil

he would be used properly guaranteed and he would also be appreciated.

Lakers haven't appreciated him for the last 5 years

Yea feel it's NY or Memphis...

Was just talking about with my home I who's a life laker, he said "Man I'm trying to figure why the Laker kept fucking over Pau, his name stayed in trade rumors"

Re: ~*~2014 NBA OffSeason Thread - Draft 6/26 ~*~

Pau will probably go to the Knicks. He's familiar with the system, played under Phil, and played with D Fish.

Pau wouldnt work in Miami. You cant have Pau Gasol & Chris Bosh as your starting frontcourt. Too finesse. Bosh needs a banger next to him to do the dirty work since he's not up to it.

My bad I forgot...

The Spurs had brutal bangers down low...
The Pacers have bangers that Miami didn't stop at any point...
The Nets did whatever they wanted in the post...
The Cats killed the Heat down low...

Negative...come on fam, I fucks with you but to say Pau won't work, is completely monkey crap. They could have two way players in the post, that capable of hit open mid range jumpers. A motivated but healthy Pau, would compete on the defensive side...dude finally checked out on the Lakers(they been checked out on him years back).

The Spurs bigs Duncan & Diaw had their way with Miami's frontcourt fam. Even Tiago Splitter was able to make an impact off the bench. Miami desperately needs rim protection and someone who the opposing offense must account for in the paint. Pau Gasol is NOT that guy. Maybe 4-5 years ago, yes, but today? No. Pau would bring some versatility to the front court offensively, but defensively he cant help the Heat. They already have Bosh to fill that "finesse"/stretch role, they need a big who wants to eat glass and block shots. Dirty work. The problem this year was DEFENSE, the Heat did not defend as well as they did the previous 3 years. I just don't see today's 34 year old Pau being the answer.

Re: ~*~2014 NBA OffSeason Thread - Draft 6/26 ~*~

So if Lebron gets a max deal, how the fuck Heat get Anthony? If they don't get Anthony and go to war with Bosh, Wade, and Lebron with supporting cast, they ain't going to win a title. Bosh wants his money. How the fuck they pay Lebron $25 million and Bosh $15 million and bring in decent help? Wade going to need at least $12. And Wade is in coming off the bench territory at this point.

I used to think this shit was written in stone, but not if Lebron wants that max deal.

Lebron can take this $20 mil Dallas got for him...

Re: ~*~2014 NBA OffSeason Thread - Draft 6/26 ~*~

Bill Simmons needs to chill. There's not a 5 or point guard out there that could help the Heat beat the Spurs. Let Heat do whatever they want. If they still gonna have Bosh shooting J's and Wade being the focal point of the offense than bandwagon Heat fans gonna cry in the car.

SO LOWRY AND GORTAT ADDED TO WADE, BOSH, AND LBJ WOULDNT HELP THE HEAT BEAT THE SPURS?????? YEA OK:lol::lol::lol:

Brian Windhorst @WindhorstESPN
Chris Bosh plans opt out of contract, source tells ESPN. Dwyane Wade & Udonis Haslem also out per reports. Heat have record 55M cap space

But LeBron reportedly wants a Max deal or close to it = 23 - 26 million a year. That leaves 29 - 32 million.
Bosh reportedly wants 15/16 million a year. That leaves - assuming he takes 15 - 14 million in caps pace, without Wade on the books.

How will it all work.. With trying to add pieces?

Edit I see now ...James is eligible to sign a five-year, $130 million extension with the Heat.

WHY WOULD LBJ OR ANY OTHER FREE AGENT SALE THEMSELVES SHORT; THEY ALL WANT THE MAX AND THATS WHAT HE SUPPOSE TO SAY TO GET THE MOST MONEY POSSIBLE BUT WE ALL KNOW HES GONNA TAKE LESS TO HELP THE TEAM; SIDE NOT THATS JUST AT THE SALARY CAP #; YOU GUYS DO KNOW THAT THE HEAT CAN GO OVER THE SALARY CAP RIGHT; AND THATS WHAT LBJ IS SAYING; HEY IF THE PLAYERS GOTTA LOSE MONEY THEN THE OWNERS SHOULD TOO...

its called luxury tax; and to be honest if you look at the nba majority if not all teams that win championships are over the salary cap and some are over the luxury tax; lakers were like 41mill over the cap when they were winning..mavs, spurs, heat, etc..it doesnt matter they all were over the cap; theres a reason why okc has decline; they shoulda paid harden...

The Heats owner is cheap as shit. Lebron, Bosh, Wade, and Haslem took pay cuts in 2010 and the jew bastard owner still was trying to dump salary to avoid the tax. Lebron is the one who paid the price because he ultimately gets clowned for not winning.

What's to say the owner doesn't pull the same shit in a couple years? Lebron is going to end up looking like  wanting to force a trade.
