He probably still got half, which is still good. Another note: if this gets too out of hand, insurance companies may stop insuring these venues with rap shows, causing the promoters a shitload of problems booking legitimate shows. As for those on that "testing him" nonsense, you can't have it both ways. If it is widely known and understood that he's a fake, then what the fuck are you "testing"? Extortion by any other name.....

But if at anytime the artist can't perform because of safety issues the promoter still owes the artist full compensation.
If the security was fucked up and the artist could not perform for reasons that could cause physical harm or death, that is the responsibility of the promoter.
Because that would essentially cost the artist money because they took time out of their schedule and could not perform (Earn money).
