Just watched this past episode. Shit was great, Grundy, Barry gets his super powers, Slade wearing the eye patch, Oliver gets a real mask.
My DVR didn't record the episode from two weeks ago when they introduced Grundy. Did Malcom Merlin show up in that episode at all?

Just finished watching season 1 via a week long marathon on Netflix. This may have be the best action/drama on network TV since Heroes season 1.

I think that he hit a little hyperbole as well however it was one of the best on NETWORK television.
Yeah the last full seasons of network shows I watched were Lost and The Event. I've yet to watch a single episdoe of 24 or Homeland. So I don't have.much to compare against.

u missing out on 24. that shit was off the chain from the first ep on. yeah some dumb shit happens like all shows (mountain lion - u will know when u see it) but some of the best tv ever.
I have to see homeland as well and a few others that folks have spoken well about. strike back, banshee and the americans to name a few. but I have a real life.
they have chrome and firefox proxy addons that will let you watch them. I've used the Hola extension in chrome to watch Uk shows that are blocked in the US
I think they actually did a good job with their version of The Flash origin.

I too recently binged on this via Netflix and caught up to the mid season finale. I originally slept on the thought of this show thinking it'd be bullshit but its actually dope! Lotta fan service and comic references. Side note: I'd get the chick playing Felicity pregnant. That is all

I agree on the Batman Begins kind of similarities. I am on season 1 episode 14 and they're doing a flashback with Slade and I like how they're showing Oliver's petulance, showing that he is a smart alec wisecracking spoiled rich kid who did not always have the cool calm collected demeanor that he showed when he returned. In showing that he wasn't always the man that he is now gave the character more depth, made him more realistic. the scene where he had been trying to build a fire the old boy scout way for 2 hours before Slade pulled out a lighter and lit the fire saying, "I know, I was watching. Thank you for the entertainment."
I am really enjoying the show. I don't get into shows until they've been on for a year or more because TV is so quick to cancel. I got into Scandal about a season and a half into the run as well. it looks really promising so far.there are small things that make this good: the fact that Diggle didn't know how to use the defibrillator, or that Oliver failed at his first attempt to take a gun from somebody pointing it at him. Very realistic
there aren't a lot of good shows on television anymore. And with us being in on dated with reality TV dramas such as this are going the way of the dodo. I'm going to watch this for as long as its on the air. I'm not familiar with comic, and it seems as if he should be a little bit more ruthless, but I'm liking it so far

I liked it. It's damn sure light years better than that Smallville bullshit. Totally unrelated. And I like how the show has violence and over the top fighting stunts. For those who haven't seen it, don't let the usual BGOL haters stop you from checking it out yourself (you fucking sheep). This show is basically BATMAN BEGINS, except with Green Arrow instead of Batman. The episodes will be uploaded here every week.

Good overall episode with Felicity & Diggle getting some air time. The ending got me hype. Shits about to heat up.
