I love Dead Space but 3 felt like the cheat codes were left on. I can't be scared with a rocket launcher/machine gun in one hand and a shotgun/flamethrower in the other. And don't get me started on the DLC to see the true ending.

4 will be epic being entirely on Earth but they have to make supplies just a tad more limited. And No more universal ammo.

Dead Space 3 was fucked up arcade bullshit! These asshole started out just like Resident Evil. Had a good survival horror series and turned it to a action game slowly every release.

A new patch has been issued for NBA 2K14 on Xbox One and PS4. This third patch, which aims to improve gameplay features and squash some of the more pernicious bugs, is available for download on both consoles right now.

In the patch notes, 2K Games promises fewer sudden disconnects when playing against others online as well as a resolution to the lengthy blank loading screen that would sometimes hit players when they booted up the game. 2K has also fixed a nasty bug that would prevent players from proceeding past the All-Star break after playing through multiple seasons in MyCareer mode.

Some issues are specific to the Xbox One, – such as game invites failing to go through or players entering an uncontrollable state when a secondary profile would sign in then out. Both have been taken care of, along with a bug where blocked players could still find each other in online matches. Now when you block them, they can't find you on Xbox Live.

Other minor improvements include resolving a camera glitch and adding an entirely new camera angle option, tweaking dribble animations for some players in order to be smoother and changing certain situational AI behavior. The patch changes quite a lot, so head on over to this 2K blog post for the full game tape.

Keyboards and mice connect to and control next-gen game consoles with XIM4 adapter (video)

Perhaps you're a long-time PC gamer, but the massive marketing campaigns waged by Microsoft and Sony have had the desired effect, and you've taken the next-gen plunge. But in doing so, must you exchange your mad mouse and keyboard skills for the clumsy controls offered by DualShock and Xbox controllers? Nay! For a new XIM adapter is here to hook your PC peripherals to your Xbox One or PlayStation 4, providing you the precision PC control you're accustomed to -- and allow you to use your existing Bluetooth or USB headsets to work with those consoles too.

This newest XIM currently works with Xbox One, and you can see a video of a prototype device being used to play on Call of Duty: Ghosts after the break. Aside from bringing next-gen compatibility, XIM4 also has a companion app that lets you configure your controls wirelessly with your Android device running 2.3.3 and up -- as opposed to the old adapters that required you to wire them up to a PC to do so. You see, for XIM's tech to work, users must download a different profile for every game, as each title has its own control quirks -- but as new games come out, the app prompts users automatically to download the latest profiles. The XIM4 won't be released until next year, but a beta will be opening up soon to folks who own a XIM Edge (the previous-gen XIM that works with Xbox 360 and PS3), and work is ongoing to get it functioning with Sony's DualShock 4. Stay tuned.

[Thanks, Nicolas]

2K servers still fucking down on PS4 and XB1... Cant play online matches, MyCareer, MyGM, MyTeam, or nothing because they all depend on the Server being up...

NBA 2K14 Experiencing Server Issues, Devs Actively Working On It

NextGenLebron-610.jpg

Despite a large patch that was delivered to NBA 2k14 on PlaytStation 4 and Xbox One before Christmas, the game is still encountering server problems. According to 2K's Ronnie 2K, the devs are hard at work trying to get the game to run properly.

Unfortunately, there aren't many official details about what is being done or what is happening, outside of a recent tweet from Ronnie 2K.

The recent patch, which was made available on December 19, addressed a huge list of problems that players had been encountering. You can see the full list of patch notes here. A search on twitter for the words 'NBA 2k14' and 'server' shows a number of recent tweets from players lamenting their problems with the game's online functionality.

Despite the game's server issues, NBA 2K14 is still the best NBA game on the market. You can read our review here.

Our Take
NBA 2k14's online issues are disappointing, especially considering how integral the online functionality is to many aspects of the game. Unfamiliarity with new hardware can certainly be blamed for some of the game's issues, but the game has been out for more than a month, and I can imagine the disappointment of players who aren't able to take full advantage of their new Christmas present consoles.

And 2K has been quiet as shit all weekend, and then out the blue they drop a FaceBook post trying to sell hoodies, and folks started going in on the comments.. Every single post on that bitch is about the servers.. LOL...

Fix the damn server ain't nobody worried about a hoodie

Fix the SERVERS no one cares about this fucking hoodie

Should have invested money in better servers rather than paying some third world country to produce hoodies.

And again...

Battlefield 4 players on a number of platforms are currently suffering "intermittent connectivity problems," and developer EA DICE is aware of the problem, according to a banner atop the game's forums on Battlelog.

"We are continuing to monitor some intermittent connectivity issues affecting some players across various platforms. Thank you for your patience. We will update this with further information as available," the update reads.

It's unclear how widespread this problem is, but the connectivity issues are separate from the numerous problems with various versions of Battlefield 4 itself, as detailed in DICE's top issues tracker. The studio is currently investigating outstanding problems such as a "bug accounting for a large amount of crashes on [Xbox 360]," a "desynchronized game world" in which different players see different things, delays in damage received and sudden drops in frame rate. According to the issue tracker, DICE has already addressed a litany of other bugs, such as game mode ribbons being counted twice and non-functional filters in the server browser.

We're reaching out to publisher Electronic Arts about the connectivity issues and will update this article with any information we receive.

they gonna strap that game all together and cut their loses. you wont see EA on the FPS market ever again. like I said they better NOT fuck with the DEAD SPACE series!! :hmm:

I am not feeling it bro..Graphics are bogus..game play is repetitive and the story line doesn't grip me.

And this is how I know you've never played a DR game before...

Dead Rising has NEVER been about a storyline... NEVER.. Your expectations are the issue here... This game is solely about finding fun, and creative ways to kill a massive amount of zombies, bruh... It's supposed to be repetitive...

If you're looking for a story based zombie game, try "State of Decay" for 360..
