Music Legal: Remember, R. Kelly Has Been Accused of Rape Dozens of Times (*Colin)

if all of this shit is true about R Kelly
how in the hell is he still making music and winning awards?
and the media hasn't crucified him a long time ago?
don't tell me he has paid them off that brother isn't ballin like that.

Oh, shit.

You can't be fucking serious.

Is this motherfucker protected on high by the Prince of Darkness like Keyzer Soze or some shit? There is no way this dude should have EVER gotten away with THIS much fuckery over such a long period of time.

It is ALLEGED MJ is a pedo, but R. Kelly is a known and PROVEN pedophile.

This shit seems unreal.
Irony u in this thread

U the same sick fuck

After dude mocked the entire thing with that pied piper shit, I just :smh:

dayum..... awful He even said Little Cute Aaliyah :smh:

Dude, he was peepin her when she was a kid just waiting until she got a little older. :smh:

fixed.

 she was 13

"little cute aaliyah's got it" (that vibe)

nigga been hiding in plain sight for 2o years

Well you when factor in that Aaliyah was R. Kelly's manager niece, she was always around. I say eleven because you had to think of when the song was record to when it was released. Worst part, they just left Aaliyah in his hands. Her family never had to explain a thing because what R. Kelly did. But they left her with him to record an album. And when Aaliyah was left with Timbaland and Missy, Timbaland was getting it until Jay-Z bagged her. Then who does an album together, Jay Z and R. Kelly... could you imagine the arguments

Oh and Foxy Brown was 14 when she was signed to DEF JAM and was 15-16 years old rapping next to Jay Z. "Foxy got you hot because you kept your face in her puss..." Nas hurt his soul with that line. Jay Z was banging Foxy out and writing her music. Teflon.

Stop. R. Kelly is bad.

My friend from Chicago said the girl on the video, their family is in the South Of France, and the father got credit for playing bass on his album after the shit had all ended.

lol..why is it every time someone black does something fucked up yall have to go and find a white person to point to for softening the blow? Who gives a fuck about Elvis? Doesn't make this nigga any less sick than he is.

In order to show that it's not racial.

Some people have issues... blue, green, or pink, it doesn't matter what color or race they are.

R. Kelly may have married Aaliyah when she was 15, but he had her eyes on her when he first got signed. He gives her a shout-out on "Got that Vibe". She had to be like 10-11 years old around the time of the recording.

wow! Man! Some of yall killing me with this thread. Not gonna lie..im a big fan of R Kelly's music. Dude is a musical genius imho. But shit!!!! "Little cute aliyahs got it?"""

:smh:

Btw...I dont think people forgot what he did. But you have to look at it this way....music has and effect on the brain that some of u obviously dont understand. The sound....it can piss you off...it can make you happy...it can make your mind wander, etc etc. Just keep that in mind when you all attack people for "forgetting" about what R Kelly did while they listen to his music. A lot remember...but once that creative music starts playing...shit happens inside your brain....day dreamign and shit. Its like your brain shifts in a different direction and all is forgotten.

Some of you clown niggas might not understand where im coming from...but those that love music or make music themselves will probably understand where im coming from.

Can someone still explain to me how the fuck he got off on those underage sex charges some years ago back in December, that shit still baffles me, is Chicago that corrupt he paid off the D.A or something, I still don't get it.

aaliyah was 12 and r kelly was 25 when he wrote "lil cute aaliyahs got it". think about that.

she was 13 when he wrote/produced "age aint nothin but a number" for her. read the lyrics to the song. son actually wrote it from the perspective of the innocent, young statutory rape victim.

in a nutshell, the jury said they believed the person in the video was R Kelly, but they couldn't determine how old the girl was at the time of the taping. Neither the girl, nor her parents testified in the case. Her friends did. Her Pastor. Uncles, Aunts. Cousins. All testified. All said how hold she was at the time. But without the girl testifying, the jury couldn't authenticate age. Interestingly enough. the girl and the parents then went on a prolonged vacation to the South of France. And the dad now gets paid credits for playing the bass on R Kelly albums even though he doesn't actually play the bass.

well it said that in the article. Except they said a 6 month vacation

Oh.

I didn't read the article.

I thought that was some 'inside info' she had, 'cause a few years ago she told me of a lot of the things he had done in Chi back in the day.

But, damn...

...these motherfuckers straight threw their daughter under the bus. Not only did you take a payoff, but you're in the fucking south of France?:smh: People talk about fathers needing to be their to protect their daughters, but ....damn. Seems a lot of people may have been gettin' paid off.

Is money really worth throwing your child under the bus like that? How can you ever have a trusting relationship when you know your parents sold you out like that?

Her father was essentially her pimp

Well, I feel like I got the football, man. I’m running towards the touchdown. Stopping and looking back, mess around and get tackled. And I also want my fans and everybody out there to know that I really appreciate everybody’s support from the very beginning of my career. But as you know, when you get on top of anything, it’s very windy up there. It’s not just about getting on top, it’s about holding your balance once you get up there. You have to be spiritually a climber. So I feel good about Black Panties… As long as I got my fans screaming my name around the world and buying my records, and supporting R. Kelly, everybody that doesn’t agree with it should listen to the last song on Black Panties.

There's a part in his crwn interview where he says he had a lot of play uncles growing up, and the a few seconds later he mentions his stepfather and says he had a lot of step things growing up. Basically saying he was around a lot or random men growing up.

I wouldn't be surprised if dude wasn't molested himself. They do say people who sexually abuse children were themselves sexual abused a lot of the time.

truth...

I remember a few stations actually tried to boycott his music years back...

that aint last long.

This is something WE need to address and figure out why we don't see these young black girls as victims.

Even older black women were condemning these young girls calling them 'grown'.

Anyways! Leave this dude alone man. It's been umpteen years. It's too late for all this. WHy come I'Ownt never see white people's shenanigans posted on this board? I know ,I know it's BGOL somehow that means we should only care when it's about putting people of our race down. You guys are backwardssss.

Pipe down he-she... Being black doesn't give someone a pass to fuck with little girls--period! I don't really give a fuck about white people's 'shenanigans' so don't care if they're posted or not... I can check every other form of media for white people's shenanigans

...You are the problem for black people. I wonder how you'd react if you were raped/molested as a little girl, and everyone gave the dude a pass b/c he was great at his profession--and because your rapist was black

Unfuckingbelievable and he still gets a pass fromt he black community for playing 'good music'.

...it's subconscious. We as black people perceive ourselves as being strong, and our women are certainly very assertive and opinionated.

I guess, on some level, we have a difficult time seeing assertive and opinionated people as victims, even if they are underage females.

I've known vastly physically inferior black women to stand up tall to men and pop shit like this dude didn't have significant inches and pounds on them.

When you grow up in a culture that prides itself on it's strength...

...there is little to no respect for weakness. We are taught this and observe this at a young age.

So, the thinking tends to be, if this is what happened with R. Kelly, that is what they wanted to happen.

Our culture is TOO macho. It is still pervasive in our community to consider people with psychological problems weak for seeking help. No one black should kill themselves under any circumstances. Too many of us just can't compute that...

...we should be able to endure ANYTHING, 'cause ... well, we're black.

All R. Kelly has to do is have sex on tape with an under aged White girl. He will then be guaranteed a spot deep in some prison's S.H.U. (Special Housing Unit).

I am truly looking forward to the day when Black lives carry equal weight in our justice system. :hmm:
