49ers

They don't get the credit they deserve but our corners are elite. no matter what anyone tries to say. we don't get real pass rush every game.. survived without aldon for more than a quarter of the season and usually have to cover longer than normal and still do excellent

Eric Wright runs a 4.36, 40

Brock runs a 4.37, 40

That's going to make the difference once we just play man to man with the coaching we have in the system it's a wrap.. and they do it without holding

LargeBills... when I re-watched the game and checked out the coaches film I saw that Crabtree was getting open on them dudes. He's not even 100% but he was shaking them at the line.

As the weeks go on and he gets healthier he's going to be that much more of a problem.

It's flat out comedy how Richard Sherman said the refs help the 49ers. You can clearly see him and his teammates grabbing and pulling guys. The refs just called it for once. There were still a few flags that didn't get thrown to.

Going to watch the game tonight where do you get the coaches tape? you download or pay for it?

I pay for it. It's part of NFL Game Rewind.

I love football so much I like or beloved 49ers and other games as well.

coolio

next dude say something

hit him with the facts

Vincent Frank ‏@VincentFrankNFL

Based on Kaps TD and INT % as well as his AVG per comp, he'd have 4,048 passing yards, 30 TDs and 13 INTs if he threw as much as Manning.

Vincent Frank ‏@VincentFrankNFL

.@TDavenport_BSN Actually for an entire season, that's 4,982 yards, 37 touchdowns and 16 interceptions. Those stats were through 13 games.

Condensed games, ALL-22, EndZone :itsawrap:

I know exactly what you mean homie. Rewind gives you the opportunity to take your eye off the ball and watch what else is happening on the field.

I purchased the preseason package and they sent me an upgrade offer to get rewind for $20. I jumped all over it.

If you don't mind indulging on your Football needs its worth it. Especially if you're out of market like me.

Just to positively reinforce me and awwschit's points

and to at the same time ease the narrative and fears of you two curt and killa... and to be clear this is in no way a call out or i told you so, this is just a this is what we have been talking about and telling you and why we put the blame on roman and not kap's abilities.

This is the TD pass to Vernon
ipxr35.png

the seahawks show single high safety. They end up going to a cover 3, however Kaep does a great job of recognition to read zone and not man.
You see him look at his first read to Boldin against man and then move to Davis for the zone

34eukv8.png

Kaep looks left to Boldin who initialy gets bracketed. The linebacker, as the play develops, drops down onto Frank. He keeps his head over to hold the LB and Vernon does a great job of crossing the face of the LB on his crossing route.

34973iq.png

you see how Kaep keeps his head over holding the LB and Safety from jumping the route

15qrlvd.png

Kaep gets the ball to VD in a small window(you can see the shadow of the corner on the left of the screen) just before the D-lineman gets to him. This was great timing and poise by Kaep because the DT was coming right at him and he got it to the only guy he could in a small window. Great job Kaep! He moved through his progression and delivered a great pass.

We're gonna run a flood route to the outside left with a backside DIG. The read on a flood route is a hi/lo read on the flat/hook defender. If the defender stays high you go low to Vernon, if he goes low, you throw high to Crab. However, As the play develops Kaep correctly diagnoses a tampa 2 coverage and hits Boldin for a 22 yard gain instead of a 6 yard gain. Vernon goes in motion back and forth revealing zone coverage cause the Mike backer just moves, there's no way they're in man with the safety on the line that far inside the slot receiver not following Vernon.

You can see the Rams settling into their zones, the Mike backer follows the guy deepest down the middle of the field(tampa 2) and the right side corner squats down into his zone leaving a big hole between the safety and the corner.

Here I highlight how good of a job Kaep does in keeping his head looking down the middle of the field. This way the defenders can't clue in to where he's throwing the ball

14sjp8p.png

The DE starts to slip past Anthony Davis and Kaep feels the pressure and climbs the pocket while keeping his eyes downfield.

Kaep climbs the pocket, sets his feet and delivers a strike to Boldin downfield

the seahawks show their standard cover 3 pre-snap. Then right before the snap the Ted Backer(strong side inside backer) moves up to blitz. They are trying to overload the strong side. They know there are only 3 lineman to block 4 pass rushers. They drop the weakside DE into coverage. Roman called a good play in that he had both Miller and Gore in to chip a rusher before dropping into the pattern. The primary read on this play is to Crabtree on the crossing route. They're looking for the Mike Backer(middle Linebacker) to drop with Vernon. However, since Seattle drops with two "curl" zone defenders, the Mike stays home.

2m3o3vb.png

The O-line picks up the blitz masterfully giving Kaep great protection. Boldin gets the CB to turn his hips inside, an automatic win for a receiver running an out route. For Kaep his read on the corner is, once that DB turns his hips, that's where you throw.

You can see from this angle that he's watching the Mike, looking for him to drop with Vernon to hit Crabs coming across. But, Chancellor has carried Vernon up the seam so he then turns his head and sees Boldin has won, sets his feet, and delivers a strike.

It takes elite arm strength to make that throw

point being, open it up and give him the options he will make the throws and reads

we run a LOT of passing plays with literally only 1 or 2 options

so if those 2 aren't there he's stuck.

OR knowing that there are only 2 options and no running lanes he forces it because there is nothing else.. or throws it out of bounds or scrambles to get a positive gain.

can't take credit for it, someone else somewhere else was breaking the film down..i found it looking for links to the coaching tape.

it's exactly what i and aww have been saying but with undisputed proof.

Also, on the 49ers official website forum, there is a breakdown of the 50 yard run by Gore, just like this.
I can't remember what website these came from, but I love when fans break down plays like this.

One thing I learned was.... remember when Seattle's TE Wilson scored that touchdown? Watching the game showed Willis running behind him trying to catch up. After watching coaches tape, in reality it was not Willis who messed up, but it was Eric Reid who blew his assignment. Reid bit HARD on the play action fake which left a big ass hole in the defense. Willis turned around saw Reid messed up & ran to cover that space, & the TE.

For the Bucs game....

#49ers inactives: WR Patton, LB Moody, G Seymour, DT Dial, G Iupati, WR Baldwin, TE McDonald

Tarell Brown and Garrett Celek are active; TE Vance McDonald, who has been dealing with an ankle injury, is inactive.

:cool::cool::cool:

Yet another game with TERRIBLE CLOCK MANAGEMENT !!!
Burning through timeouts already & getting delay of game penalties already !!!

:angry::angry::angry:

it's on roman. get the call in. you need a minimum of 10 seconds to make the right read off of what the defense shows you.

can't get the call and lined up with only 12 seconds left. we run a complex offense.

get it in. let him read then make the call.

kap is going through his reads and extending plays. picking up 1st downs and throwing darts on broken plays to people who weren't his 1st option

we only have 3 active wr's and 4 rb's

hunter and james have no choice but to get into the game. i bet we see some screens now

so far so good. defense 3and out and let's give another drive like this one.

also

the quick snap plays aren't good for our line they don't block well on those

That was an ugly first drive but we got it done..

Like I said, as you see Crabtree getting healthier he's going to continually get open. Dudes can't guard him one on one. He's shifty as hell.
