Music Debate: Joe Budden & Skillz explain their TOP 5 WORST Rappers, AGREE??

Rampage is THEE worst rapper I've ever heard. Especially when you would hear all of Flipmode rip sumthin, then this cat give an effort worthy of a gold medal in the wackness olympics:smh:

Those vids are mad entertaining. He needs to start those back up.

That Feels So Good story

saying e-40 is one of the wackest is just admitting that you dont know much about hiphop.

yo that shit was a HIT when it came out, especially that beat, play that shit in BK...

1. E-40 is ... different. Not a favorite of mine, and I can't follow much of what he's saying. What I will give him is, he is one of the most creative in hip hop history. With all the slang, and the delivery ... dude is hella creative. I mean, it would've been a lot easier to rap intelligibly, but he chose to rap that way, and pulled the shit off.

2. Listening to Too Short was painful the one time I did it.

3. Before someone claims I hate West Coast rappers, Ras Kass is one of my top 3 favorites, and I always thought Tash was very underrated.

4. Yeah, lyrically, the Wu was carried by a select few, and the other members are given the benefit of the doubt or assumed to be very lyrical as well.

Nah.

5. Pac's lyrics were very underwhelming, but he knew how to emote better than anyone in hip hop. DMX, to me, was actually more talented than Tupac, and he emotes very well too.

I can't even start a list right now but just wanted to say, WTF is this supposed to be?

I mess with some of 40's shit but I can see how people aren't into him. I always thought he was an acquired taste.

I don't think UGod is top 5 worst but Black Shampoo is one of the lamest rap songs ever

2 things:

1) Budden needs to be on his own list

2) Cappadonna's verse on Winter Warz alone is better than Budden's entire recording career going back to childhood raps:hmm:

I think Pac deserves your top ten based off this pre

I think Pac deserves your top ten based off this premise: obviously, that hyper lyricism not only limits your audience, it messes up your content. If Pac were alive today, he can creatively run off the same topics for several more albums. A very hard skill for most rappers. They usually can give three albums worth of songs before folks lose interest.

Uh yall acting like E40 is great. If you not from the west coast, his shit is hard to listen to. He has no universal appeal for a hip hop fan. I'm not saying he's top 5 worst, but he's a regional rapper

Birdman - like has he ever switched up the flow? Nigga been rapping the same verse for the last 15 years. Just re-arranged the words. Never had a hot verse in his career.

Tony Yayo, Chingy, Mike Jones

and I'm sorry, Timbaland. Great producer, but I hated when he rapped.

:lol::lol::lol:

they lost me wit cappa, he can spit, e40 aint wack he;s jus different, not my style but when i think of wack i think of oj da juice man type rappers, rappers who bring nothing to the table, this is why rap sucks now cause if a singer cant sing then they would not be a singer, so why is oj a rapper?

For the bold:  to who?

By the way, most hip hop legends had limited audiences when they came out but their music lives longer than the motherfucker making music that appeals to everyone from dumb to out-of-touch. How many kids do you think are finding out about Gza's "Words from a Genius" vs Father MC's "Father's Day"?

Pac has a lot of trash in his resume but he was able to build a cult like following so the quality of all his music doesn't matter as long as he stressed that last syllable in "enemies" for the thousandth timed he used that word in a rhyme. Getting away with rhyming about the same shit the same way isn't a skill with words... that is the skill of a Shepard cultivating a flock of sheep. Just ask Jay-Z.

When Pac was on point he had his moments of entertainment but he isn't the greatest writer/rapper/emcee or any of that.

Add Schoolboy Q. He's highly overrated. Nowadays people think just because something is "different" its hot, when thats far from the truth.

I agree, that muthafucka is horrible!!:angry::angry:
