Junior dos Santos suffered cut that required stitches; still will fight
Former UFC champion Junior dos Santos has an opportunity to win back the title this weekend during his trilogy fight with the current champ Cain Velasquez, but as it turns out this fight was dangerously close to being called off.

Dos Santos was spotted at open workouts for UFC 166 with what appeared to be a fresh scar on his forehead, and dos Santos stated that the cut was suffered a few weeks ago and required stitches.

“It was in the training (camp), and it was accidental,” dos Santos said, via MMA Fighting. “But not too [bad]. I’m okay already.”

For a lot of fighters, a cut that requires stitches could cause them to withdraw from the fight, but the UFC was relying so heavily on dos Santos and he wants the rematch as bad as anything so he was ready to step up and fight no matter what.

Torn between tonight's event and Alvarado vs Provodnikov. Though Alvarado look drained at weigh-in whereas Dos Santos-Velasquez look ready.

Just find a German based proxy and you can watch in high quality on the official UFC website for free. That's what I'm doing.

I'm on a Linux machine, so I can turn off the proxy on the fly. I don't know if this will work on Windows comps once the video starts streaming. Once the vid starts, I turn off proxying and the video still streams as some proxy connection's throughput can be choppy.

Lib and I are using this VPN privateinternetaccess.com, worked perfect. I did have to set quality to 480p, but compared to http://ilemi.me the quality is awesome.

I originally got this VPN for torrents and usenet, great extra usage.
