Knew she wouldn't allow it. People already see her as not likely Don West, and being favorable to the Martins. This all comes down to the closing today, of which, i expect the prosecution to totally Romo. Even pundits who favor the Martins said this case is dead in the water. The defense is driving the prosecution out to a remote area to finally end it all.
They just wanted Manslaughter accepted and they got it which is why West was pissed, if it was just Murder 2 then he gets off but now conviction is 70/30 imo.

They say he is good looking I got people in my office into trial and they keep talking about him they say he looks like Kevin Costner, but all I know is the Jury pays attention when he talks.
