I don't know but, your postin' is definitely wack.
Only post the characters AFTER the "/" man...
No, he's not wack... he's Wayne. Lil Wayne. It would have been nice if he was more original, but what he's doing is on par with what's selling. So... for better or worse, he fits right into what's poppin'.
The talent is there. And I agree, this is the type of shit that's selling, but I wouldn't hearing him try another style, another track, and another subject, instead of the same ol' same ol'. This ain't my cup of vodka, but he does have talent.
Yea this is what I told him, he still young though he 18. I respect his hustle though he started a legit clothing line and got a lot of these kids in Atlanta rocking his shit. This track is just meh to me.
Agreed....But we seen this b4...tell him to be himself...not these other niggas out here....but once again...not bad at all...Shit ain't bad @ all![]()

My nephew is going through his show biz thang, and he's doing aight. He sold 2 songs to MTV, and had an offer from Warner Bros., and his stupid ass manager was asking for too much upfront loot...AGAINST MY ADVICE, BUT HEY, FUCK DO I KNOW?!Warners eventually gave up. Now, he's put together another project, and Puff has reached out to him.....I don't know if that's good or bad!

Definitely both. At first he is going to be like "fuck yeah", then after shit hits the fan he is going to be
And on top of that he'll lose his stage name
Lox to d-block
hes ok,get him some better beats and some dope hooks and he could possible go somewhere
Shit ain't bad @ all![]()

That what I'm sayin..
The Kid needs his own lane, he'll get further with his skill set if he finds his own musical identity...

He doesn't stand out. Needs some work.
theseHow old is he? Does he know it is not from the heart, not real, if he is rapping about some stuff he doesn't represent. Being an artist is about expressing yourself, not doing what everyone else is doing.
Well u asked for the truth, so that's what I'ma give u. Is he wack... on this song he is. Can't call him wack on the strength of one song. But, he a helluva lot better than what most cats is callin fire nowadays. He definitely better than 2Chainz or Gucci. The problem here is, with this being his first impression, I probably wouldn't listen to anything else he did. Only thing would get him a pass is being BGOL affiliated. So this shouldn't be a lead single. I can hear a definite Wayne influence in him. really though, his delivery wasn't all that bad by today's standards. What needs to be upgraded are his lyrics, if he was really spittin some shit, and everything else was the same, it'd be a whole different story. Youngins allergic to the dictionary though. That's one thing I can't fathom, how do you desire a career where u make money using words, but u know less than 200 of em.
If that's ya nephew, and u care bout him, which u obviously do, please help guide him. I'm not at all sayin he can't make it, and honestly he could make it with this single. But then he's gon be in that coon category. And all success ain't good success. Please get him to stop sayin 'nigga' so much. That shit ain't what's up. And instead of makin u look street, it makes u appear like u tryin to look street. I pay attention to some of the lil cats who come through my studio who really out there dopin knucklehead shit, and when they talk, it's nigga every 3 words. But they don't rap like that.
I wish ya neph all the luck in the world. But please keep an eye on him. Talk to him. Find out what he would do with his first $100,000. If he goin to the car lot and the jewelery store, he ain't ready, he's part of the problem. First of all that money has to be recouped. His answer should be buying his mother a house, and explain why to him. That way he always has a place to lay his head and call home. Don't go around wearing a house on his wrist and around his neck. U spend 80k on it, but when u go to sell it u get back less than half. U can spend a couple hundred dollars on some fake jewels in New York and look just as fly as the rest of em. Get a sensible car. Then look into a cheap franchise or something that makes money. Don't let the record label shoot his video or buy his beats. Give an unknown a shot. There's plenty of em with way hotter tracks than the majors. Get a film student to do your video. U can pay em like $300, give em something for their resume/portfolio, and actually have creative control. Then ya video won't suck like everyone else's.
Keep a eye on ya neph fam. Good lock. 100
