Presti is though. He assembled a team through the draft and some FA and fit the pieces together perfectly. It's not his fault his "Big 3" couldn't make it work financially. OKC built a great team the hard way. Not everybody can luck up on James Bosh and Wade.

I doubt lamb is as impressive as made out to be or not he would have played his way into rotation time last year

OKC can talk all they like but this is a trend that should give their fans some concern

you can't be sure.
clearly brooks isn't a good enough coach to recognize if players are good or not. i know he's better than leggins. and leggins got time last season.

so i can't judge how any okc players play or why they do or don't get time based on brooks assessment. he is clueless.

word out was that he asked for the trade or his agent did and it was over the money. and i said that was a stupid move imo cause they could be successful together and the others took cuts as well.

then the new info was there was a deadline and i condemned both of them for playing games.. presti and harden agent.

then it came out who the trade was for and i said for what they use harden for it wasn't horrible (kevin did what harden did during the season, that's because brooks is an idiot and harden should have been starting)

and then the trade issue came up and then i said if that was what it was, then presti is a joke or something to that effect and that i didn't blame harden..nobody wants to sign and then still be available on the chopping block.

You cant look at it in a vacuum. At this point it isnt just about the Harden trade itself. Its about Prestis decision making the last three years to today. Perk situation, Ibaka's deal, Harden trade and compensation, coaching issues, breaking up a conference champ, and now letting the only offensive piece of the Harden deal walk for insignificant dollars.

Personally, im on record as saying they should have axed Perk 3years ago to insure they keep Harden and Ibaka. When they made the dumb decision to trade Harden i said it was a bad decision but that compensation was a win for OKC. I based that on Lamb, the draft pick, Perry Jones developing, and keeping Martin or getting compensation for him. Allowing the 2nd best 2guard in the league to go free while using the main trade compensation as a one year rental is atrocious. Presti has failed KD.

That was the hold up it was only going to be 4 years instead of 5 but it would have still been the max they could give

They didn't offer it cuz they didn't want to go over the cap

The most the Thunder could offer was 4 for 60, they offered 4 for 55, he could get an extra year & $20M by getting traded...remember they added that to the new CBA. I don't think he was every taking $60M when he could get $80M in a trade or walk to free agency.

Ok....Dunleavy may not be the same "pure shooter" as Korver, but because Dunleavy is actually a threat to put the ball on the floor once he catches, he causes more problems for the defense off of screens. Korver was shit off screens. Basically a stand and pop type shooter (Dunleavy can pop and shoot as well). Dunleavy is also labeled a high quality passer; which is why he had a "point forward" label put on him a few times in the past. Dunleavy also has a bigger body..which could be good in a Tim Tibby type defense. Passer and defender...good shooter off screens.... on a team that prides itself on passing and defense = a good pick up...imho.

The only issue i have with the deal is the amount of money theyre paying him. That 3 mill could be a problem around the 2014 FA. Hope the Bulls got a plan.


But anyways....i made a mistake saying Dunleavy was a better "shooter" than Korver....but one thing I didnt get wrong was the point i made about your 37 year old no title having ass Nets team not being worth a shit. Like I stated before...we couldve kept the same team we had last year....and just added D Rose...and we still wouldve been light years ahead of your shit team and shit franchise. Presti's hand was forced. I aint mad at either party, but I refuse to believe that Harden was willing to turn down an extra year & $20M. In a league of guaranteed money, guys aren't turning down those types of numbers. It was clever manuevering on Harden's part, he worked the shit out of the new CBA & won.

Remember he was angling to go home to Phoenix & that's where everybody thought he was going until the Rockets came and made the best deal possible.

I've seen him take some of the worst shots in the history of basketball live!!! Trust me you don't want him to shoot more.
