The Zimmerman Trial: Justice for Trayvon! (Let's discuss it)

I think the prosecutor just asked him about lying (does it mean you were lying because some of your statements were different) to tie his inconsistencies with Jenteals inconsistencies. So, if he changed words, added words, omitted things in certain statements, etc.... the defense would have to admit that his statements are in the same boat as Jenteal's statements since she did the same thing (so they can't call her a liar without admitting that he is a liar).

According to black folks on Facebook, Twitter, News One, BET and the Root her testimony was great and powerful, ground moving in eloquence and added much needed gravitas to the trial.

Saying she fucked up with her funky ass attitude and inability to understand simple questions is a no-no.

If this case is lost and ONE juror comes back and says "Rachael Jenteal's attitude turned me off and made her non credible" I'm wondering will everyone give her a pass and so "She sdid her best"?????

-Edit-

I don't think this man is credible at all, I think he's lying and has an agenda. BUT the thing people don't understand is that many jurors make decisions on emotion and not facts and depending on who they are they can be swayed by who they like the most or how they see a witness. In the Jody Arias trial one of the jurors (a man) said he couldn't give her the death penalty because she was so attractive to him....:hmm::hmm::hmm:

Yeah I think he became suspect with all his additions....what's sure though is the case is not going well for those of us that want justice for Trayvon.

The defense is winning so far, this man is credible he's not making either side lead him......Rachael Jenteal hurt the prosecution case and from now until the end its all about repairing the damage she caused.

Rachel Jenteal did not hurt the prosecution...

The family said they are prepared for Zimmerman to get off and they got what they wanted - a trial. Shit's heartbreaking man.

For all of us who raising kids or can remember being a young black man themselves...and the most powerful witness is a fucking retard that people are covering for. :smh:

ok, maybe we got hope. when the white man who killed a black kid for playing music too loud trial begins???

With the intent to use deadly force "if necessary".. The same can be said for anyone that has a concealed carry permit, and carries..

Him leaving his vehicle wasn't a crime, nor was him carrying a loaded weapon.. Neither of these actions are proof of anything.

We can speculate all day about what he intended, but at the end of the day it's about what you can prove his intentions were, and he did a good job covering his ass with that 911 call and those bullshit injuries..

In a harmless and normal situation you have a point but if a person with a loaded gun goes out, shoots and kills someone else then it's a crime. And that shows the intent to use deadly force.

Sure people have permitts to carry firearms but it doesn't give them the right to just go out and shoot anyone they want. They have a responsibility to use that weapon wisely.

I don't see how calling 911 is covering anything especially if Zimmerman still went out and shot martin anyway. Zimmerman is still liable.

I think we'll have to wait until after the verdict to hopefully hear from some jurors. Her story vs her attitude/demeanor... hard to say what effect it will have on them. Will be interesting to see what they say about her. In the Arias trial (Phoenix) the jury was allowed to ask witnesses questions, and you could tell by those questions, how they felt about the person on the stand. I wish that were the case in Florida also.

Did she help?

Agreed. Shit's disgusting. I'm not bothering to address the idiots on my newsfeed defending her ignorance.

You guys are scaring me, I can't watch the trial but your recent comments make it seem as if my boxer is about to get knocked out:(

Finally on HLN one of the legal analysts brought up the fact that Zimmerman's injuries don't mean that he wasn't the initial aggressor. You come at someone and they get the better of you; it's still on you because you started the shit.

In terms of the jury having reasonable doubt, especially for 2nd degree murder.... I think the defense is in decent shape right now unfortunately. Most of the eye witnesses put Zimmerman on top (2 or 3 to 1) but because of how dark it was, and the fact that nobody saw the beginning of the altercation, there's a lot of gray there when it comes to actual facts in terms of what they observed. Defense case hasn't even started, so it is kinda scary.

Does anybody know if the cop that initially thought Zimmerman should have been charged has testified yet? If not, that should be good.

Edit: I think he is the next to testify
Edit again: I guess not...looks like another neighbor is up now.

She did not do much to help it neither

She had the single most damning piece of evidence against GZ (the start of the confrontation). No one, not even the defense, can really refute that because her testimony was pretty consistent in that regard. The defense's only strategy was to call her actions after that night into question. I'm not sure if the jury will be able to see through that and her demeanor on the stand to truly understand her account of Trayvon's words and feelings

True

Yeah. I can't watch it either.

I'm even having a hard time reading some of the pro-defense comments.

The part in bold is my fear

I have to watch and get my info first hand.

So far apart from Rachels testimony (which was many in support of the prosecution), and the white neighbor from earlier, everything else in my opinion is in favor of the prosecution.

Fucking true...Same thing my wife and I were just saying. he went after Trayvon. :smh:

The Martin team better be able to point out any injuries on Zimmerman are likely from a kid fighting for his life. It's clear as day Zimmerman ran after and started the physical altercation. They just need to make sure the can get the jury to see that.

Why wasn't she a help to the Prosecution?.. You have a reason to believe anything she said about that night was a lie?..

Her inconsistencies, lies and all that other stuff is what I refer to.

I believe her testimony, but just the other stuff that came up is all I point to.

Asian dude seems OK I guess... but who would ask the shooter what caliber gun he used? Anyone remember what he said he did for a living?

I notice that he refers to GZ as a "white" male. Not Hispanic or Latin.

Hispanic and Latin aren't races..

You're either White or Black, with or without Hispanic or Latino heritage..

For example, Mexicans usually check White w/ Hispanic heritage..

That's very true but people are classified by their looks in law enforcement, not their actual race. If you witness a hispanic male committing a crime, would you call 911 saying he was a white male or say he looks hispanic?

Are you really raising a kid, because you don't sound mature enough to even come close to understand how teenagers behave at that age, specially today's teenagers.
All you do is complain and make questions that don't make any sense, btw have you ever been on a witness stand or have any real experience on how the justice system works in this country.

Does one Mexican physically describe another Mexican as a white or an Hispanic male? It was not so much an observance of race, per se, but self identification.

If Ayala broadcast a BOLO for a 200lb white male, would you look for a Caucasian or a Latino?

I'm wondering if in the back of his mind, Ayala does not identify GZ as Hispanic/Latino.

It depends.. He assumed GZ to be Caucasian on first contact, it seems.
