Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

and the pacers were at this point last year

NOW is the time to see if they grew a pair of nuts

looking forward to seeing if they did
More like the Heat lost their nuts in the form of their former enforcer a big man who could at least play physical with their big men, Pittman, where at least he could give them 6 fouls but 6 hard fouls to match the hard fouls Indiana is giving Miami..
Now the toughest guy on the team is also their best player, their best scorer their best re-bounder as well as their best assist guy, too many eggs in one basket makes it easier to crack.

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

its feast or famine and basketball can't be played that way.

either they let everything go

or

they call everything.

its ridiculous.

:wepraise:

THANK YOU!!!

That's what I HATE about the NBA... The inconsistency from the REFS... is MIND BOGGLING... Especially when it comes to HOME COOKING... :smh:

true.

but the counting on bosh to hit all them jumpers and three's is what i said yall shouldn't do.

then you can't get mad at him if he don't get offensive rebounds cause he's shooting from the 3 point line or long ass 2's

you don't have a good post defender/defense. and that just happens to be their strength.

all comes down to who does what. gonna have to try and make the game sloppy for them, and clean for you. need you to run more get out in transition somehow force turnovers so that the others can get their looks.

when things are squeezed they show that really lbj is the only one you can COUNT on.

change wade from the 2nd option to the 3rd option.

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

Yes i have a legit source. My eyes. Are you disputing me? Do you really thinks he shoots 50% from midrange or anywhere else other than the paint?

Now please show me where i EVER mentioned shooting threes. That is a figment of your imagination. We all know he is a putrid 3point shooter, my point was always about his jumpshot in general.

the burden of proof is on you you said he shoots 38 percent from outside of 9 ft.. I thought you were going to hit me with an advancded chart or something showing me proof and your eyes ? is the proof... why not 37 percent or 39 don't hit me with your eyes bullshit

Do you really think most wing players are shooting 50 percent midrange ? consistently ...

I could post some advanced stats ,but I'll wait.. before I do

what percentage do you think is good from say 10-15..ft 16-23 ft ?

and name a few players you think are going that

To be fair... Joey isn't the ONLY culprit... :smh:

Derrick Staford is fast becoming one of the worst in my opinion... :smh:

Haywood Workman is FUCKIN BLIND AS BAT... :smh:

There's another Black ref, I can't remember his name... but he's terrible... :smh:

If you ask me... The BEST ref in the game... might be... Violet Palmer...

Usually if you know a ref by name he is probably terrible. But shit man Joey is real extra with it. :smh: :smh:

now as for the FT's I mentioned earlier. You know why it is so glaring. Because we had a whole 82 game regular season. The Pacers didnt get FT's at that clip. They would have been one of the top offenses in the league.

Now suddenly in the conference semis and finals their attempts jump like this . really..

... And this is why I was SOOOOO PISSED OFF OVER game #6 against the Knicks... :smh:

It's not like the Pacers have a bunch of guys who go to the basket like that... :smh:

Now... all of sudden... The Pacers are the '06 Heat... :hmm:

I have nothing against the Pacers... It's not their fault... :dunno:

It's just obvious that there's some OTHER SHIT GOING ON... :smh:

I still think the Heat need to tighten up their defence(which is the more important issue)

Yep. Now watch Miami get all the calls. Don't be surprised if Hubbert picks up two cheap fouls early.

Absolutely...

But... for me... the ECF isn't even about the teams... It's about the refs... and that's bad... :smh:

Nobody complained about the refs in the WCF... :smh:

This has always been NBA's albatross... going back to the 80s too... :smh:

I'll never forget watching Robert Parrish take 6 steps before putting the ball on the floor right in front of the refs... NO CALL... :smh:

Or when Robert Parrish snuffed Laimbeer with something like 5 piece and Bill never threw a punch ... GUESS WHAT??? Laimbeer EJECTED... Parrish... stays in the game... :smh:

I'm just glad muthafuckas are starting to see what I saw a series ago...

Hard to pick up cheap fouls when nobody is driving to the lane. Hibbert is a smart defender in the paint. He deserves more credit on his defensive IQ than some people give him.

David west on the other hand is always fouling offensively.

I don't know how glaring that is though. Miami is way undersized against Indiana so I'm not shocked they are shooting a lot of free throws (more than they usually do). If Miami doesn't foul, Indiana is gonna get too many layups from west and hibbert.

However, I think the overall amount of calls being called on both teams is the real problem.

Actually man, Hibbert is known or staying in foul trouble. It's actually been a serious problem for him that people thought he would never get over.

I agree on people not challenging him though but I don't even think that is necessary. The refs are calling a lot of off the ball fouls in this series.

alright man..you about to make me have flashbacks from the 80s... all that damn phantoms calls for the Lakers in the finals against my Pistons.. we lost game 6 of the finals on a fucking phantom call against Bill Laimbeer on that fucking sky hook.... didn't even touch the muthafucka and the refs bailed out LA at the end of the game...lost the title on that shit... that was the game before Worthy had his only triple double in his entire life in game 7 :angry::angry::angry::angry::angry:

Workman sees the game like a former player always will.... No blood, No call. It's like Staford wants to be Joey's protege so he just tries to match bullshit for bullshit call. Notice you ONLY hear Violet Palmers name at the beginning of the game.

very true

and as for cheap fouls......it is no different than any other centre. Constant forays into the paint will cause nearly all centres to have foul trouble issues

He has improved.

Yeah the refs are some bullshit, but the heat struggle to stay focused. Being the best team in the league they should be able to adapt to any style.

We'll see tomorrow. The refs just need to be consistent. We'll know the deal if we see questionable off the ball calls that put key players on the bench.

Miami needs to smarten up too. Fuck having Bosh shooting 3s... Indiana goes from a good team to barely average without Hibbert. They need to get Hibbert's ass in foul trouble.

Lebron has to apply the pressure. Attacking the rim will draw Hibbert. Seriously who can continuously stop him at the rim without fouling? Wade has conceded some but he needs to totally concede the reigns to Lebron and Lebron needs to willingly take them.

Honestly unless its late game take Lebron off West. I take my chances with Lebron having the energy to finish the game and letting West get his on Haslem/Battier.

Yeah. I don't think that is a good man. It's only gone get lebron and foul trouble and zap all his energy for the second half just like you said. If you have to send help, just send it....not like Indiana has the best outside shooters...make them hit shots.

I need to watch the game again to see what happened with Lebron and the post.... did he stop going down there, did the defense take it away, or did his teammates just not find him down there? so me it seemed like he just stopped going into the post. The offense needs to run through Lebron as much as possible. They are more complete team when he is driving...not just shooting but driving and dishing (that's how birdman has been so effective)

Those jumpers from game 3 wasn't falling in game 4. Pacers were challenging haslem and bosh a little better. Plus they were sending help when lb posted up. He just didn't have the spacing in game 4 like he did in game 3

It take discipline to continue to go to the post. Just because bron can post doesn't make him a post player. You see how easily the heat goes away from posting bron. I also think it has a lot to do with him being such a hybrid player that he can't help but to use his entire skill set.

Posting is by far his greatest advantage but honestly he can only some time post versus all the time. The heat should draw up plays to get him the ball on the block. It require work and he is already pulling overtime.

I ain't never been the one to police the refs but it looks like this one might have gotten someone's attention:

Sources: NBA reviewing fallout from Game 4 calls

Interesting

Everyone knows Pacer fans included that that was some high tech marlarkey last night. Did anyone find out what LeBron did to receive the technical in the first half...I want to know what he whispered?

right just like the game before where indiana got 2 tech's in a row for talking the first for nothing...didn't even show the replay then the 2nd cause allen missed the free throw.

and then they called a foul on the pacers after the heat got the ball back after 2 techs in a row lol

Can't stand that mess. Favoritism to stars is bullshit. I don't care if its Duncan, Kobe or bron. These kats foul and should foul out like everyone else. Capitalistic ass NBA.
