Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

man its hard to stay on top.

It sure felt like there were a ton of OKC fans during last year's finals :lol:

even some Lakers fans were rooting for OKC(ironically OKC put a 4-1 plastering on them)

Especially when they had okc as the clear favorite to win smh

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

They hate Lebron because CACs hate Lebron, influenced by sports radio and ESPN. Lebron has had more media exposure than any athlete in history so many are tired of hearing about him.

When Lebron loses I hear from every white boy I've ever known. When Lebron wins they're quiet like Gucci Man in a spelling bee.

Some people day they hate him because of the decision but don't hate Barkley or KG for the same shit with Houston or Boston.

Oddly few catch that his "I'm taking my talents to south beach" was a verbal jab at Kobe's 1996 high school press conference where he said "I'm taking my talents to the NBA" ...most comedy misses or goes over people heads

The WWE style "not 4 not 5 not 6 not 7" really irritates CACs; a confident dominant black man is the biggest fear they harbor in any field or profession

Lebron swept my Bucks but dude is evolution and I'm enjoying seeing it play out

Give this man a round of applause

100% co sign

I've said before... and I'll say it again...

My ONE criticism of Lebron is...

He DIDN'T SIGN WITH MY KNICKS... :crying:

Who said that?
Shady I'll give you some low hanging fruit...

You ought to bump that 2012 Finals thread and see who all was saying what in the first 4 pages :lol:

If I was at home I'd post the link.

As a Heat fan i am 50/50 about the Heat chances

You a Hawks fan gtfoh

:roflmao3::roflmao3:

as far as this series goes i have to see game 1. there are a million possibilities i have to see how the coaches feel each other out.

lebron has to be on kd period. don't fool yourself thinking shane can even begin to guard kd he can't...period.

kd has to be on lebron...i believe they both want the challenge so before you come in attacking me...this is what THEY WANT.

will spo and brooks do the same thing?

will they have wade and westbrook match up? chalmers is too slow to stay in front of westbrook

will they use their specialist on the guards?

they both can guard each other, both can shoot the jumper bosh's is better ibaka is better inside and on the boards and shot blocking.

miami needs the others to hit 40% of everything. that's a solid number to give them the help they're gonna need

keep it close and let lebron and them try and win it.

harden is okc's...which makes them rare.
their starters can do their thing and get 30 from 1 person off the bench.

miami has to make okc work on defense...that means little to no iso ball. none
miami can do it...if they want to.

both teams need to attack the rim period

i want both kd and bron to get a ring so either way at the end ill be extremely happy.

can't wait till tuesday

well well well looky here.

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

kevin last year russel this year. harden and ibaka are up at the same time.

the shit the owners did to try and break up good teams so that the small markets can have a chance... is gonna break up a great small market team :lol:

the problem was never addressed and never will be.

hire some better fucking gm's

gm's gave nene max money
both will command max money just to try and lure them away from okc...
its sad
they're gonna try and max out on those players just to have a name

probably won't even have the right team to go along with them

PROPHET

explain this to me?

because bosh's impact off the bench isn't gonna help like it did last series where boston honestly struggled to score at all times because of their lack of depth and the aging players struggling.

you can hem up 36 year olds i don't know about 22 year olds.

bosh coming off the bench puts him against one of the okc bigs who have nothing to lose (collison aldrigde muhammed) and i wouldn't risk bosh getting beat up because of it... if those players foul out it don't mean much of nothing at all...

you need OTHERS to come off the bench.
you need bosh to be counted in with the starters scoring to compete...

nobody is shutting nobody down this series so you gotta take all the points you can get

hmmm

all before game 1

Large bills be honest you want the pacers to win don't bullshit either :lol:

hibbert dropping 40 with enough touches ? naw not him

16 and 10 is what you're getting this playoffs on average

He's not going to double his rate against the best team in the nba

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 1- 0--}

They gonna double team bron

He gonna end up with 20 assist :lol:

No they gonna put west on him and have Hubert play weak side help. Bron and Chalmers are gonna play pick and roll, pick and drive and pick and switch all game.

I got a feeling the Pacers have been sitting back listening to all this talk about Lebron abusing Paul George and are tired of hearing how dominant he is and going to come out overly aggressive for game 4.

They are shit offensively but yeah they will be aggressive

First 5 mins will tell the tale

dont care who wins

he's averaging 24 for the playoffs so that 16 and 10 can go somewhere and best team in the nba has shit to do with the ability to stop hibbert in the post..sending him to the line is not stopping him.

he went inexcusable stretches last game without touches and still shot 15 free throw bro.

every time they played through the post they cut the lead

soon as they went away the lead ballooned back up

i dont see how anyone can dispute that if they watched the game

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

pacers (in)ability to pressure the heat ball handling will be the difference in the next game and the rest of the series.

coach vogel must devise a way to make passes into the second level more difficult for the heat if the pacers are going to be competitive.

looking forward to seeing if the coaching staff is up to the challenge, or if they are going to lay another egg.

They can't pressure the Heat ball handling all spo if he smart will use Cole to break down their D

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

this the final product Riley envisioned

The question is, If the Heat players product like game 3, what can Indiana do?
Indiana scored a decent amount of points, but looked clueless throughout the game.
We know how, down they were last year after talking smack, then getting bitch slapped.
So will we see a repeat of that or a team that grew a pair.

meh.

the miami heat do not have any premier ball handlers that would preclude the tactic of on ball pressure.

adequate ball handlers under normal conditions? certainly.

sketchy decision makers that might wobble under pressure? definitely.

coach spoelstra changed the passing angles between G2 and G3.

looking forward to seeing what the counter is.

Shit. That would play right into Vogel's hands if Spo starting using Cole is the primary ball-handler :lol:

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

Last chance to win two in a row against the Heat. Failed in game 3. Their hope is tonight and game 5 which is still possible. Series is over if pacers take a lose tonight. Their best chance was winning game 3.

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

Or spo can use Mario and Cole as a 1-2 combo

If anything James will be the primary if vogal goes that route

Spo need to keep the same game plan and have Bron murder them niggas in the post again

Ultimately, I dont think it will matter. However, cran is correct, Vogel needs to make an adjustments to disrupt the Heat's offensive flow because that was way too easy for the Heat's offense. But if the Heat make shots, it's not really going to matter much in my opinion.

Indiana needs to slow this game down and pound the paint with West and Hibbert. You almost gotta hope you get the heat in foul trouble if you are indiana because Im not sure if you can depend on them just missing easy shots like they did in games 1 and 2.

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

I think the game is going to come down to turn overs, fouls and Indiana ability to keep the game close.. If one of those three components go against the Pacers, they may be in for a long night.

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

Man I'm hoping Spo sub early, let the subs be active(run plays for Miller, Lewis or Jones), just to create mayhem. Haslem going bananas was the back breaker, so let's build off of his energy.

It don't have to be many plays but let's just get these kats a few minutes early, especially if Ray, Norris and Shane decide to throw up bricks.

Re: {--Miami Heat vs Indiana Pacers - East Conf. Finals 2013--Miami 2- 1--}

timeout regroup.

this ain't miami heat basketball.
