It's been mentioned before, but never confirmed. The flow is a carbon copy and would make total sense for Will especially since he was on Fresh Prince of Bel Air and was some years removed from Parents Don't Understand. A ghostwriter would've been right up his alley.

Its said Will has some iron clad contract that wont let Ra ever admit to it. But, who the hell knows. Great song. Sounds like Ra. It could of been done by Will though. Wills talent was he was capable of copying other rappers style. He also has been known to use a couple of ghost writers. LOL

Yea man I don't even know why Will would lie about writing it or why he would go to such great lengths to cover up not writing it. Will done made over 1 billion in receipts at box office and he over here scared people might find out he didn't write Summertime? :lol:

Personally, I just think it was at a time where Rakim was influential on cats and was highly respected and Will jacked his flow. Shit is Rakim's flow but the lyrics are very Fresh Prince-esque.
