Dude gonna do a comic series by the time his career over. Internet rumors has him the next Batman if it's rebooted. He can carry Ironman if Robert decides not to do more.

Cruise would blow their budget and Marvel stays cheap.

Whoever they get will be less than Downey. Believe it.

For whatever reason, ILM didn't do this movie and the trailer shows it. Dunno if it was the effects strike or Marvel pinching pennies, but there's no way Marvel and Disney will shell for Cruise. The More I think about it, Depp is probably their first choice. He's already a Disney man with Pirates.

Also, if there's a Doctor Strange movie, put Fassbender in THAT.

First Iron Man was a great movie. Only better superhero movie was Avengers.

2nd Iron Man was boring as hell.

:yes: if you didn't like the first one and Avengers, you just don't like comic book movies, and needed to watch something more geared to your age demographic like Golden Girls.

I was pretty kind saying it was average

I fell asleep during part of it. It was pretty meh. I didn't even care enough about it to try to watch the part I missed.

is there a secret scene after the credits?:confused:

supposedly he gets a S.O.S call from space (the guardians) and use his deep space armor to get to them. this was a rumor i read last month.

I saw it on YT a few days ago. It's a small scene with Tony and another member of the Avengers. :D

However, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a different scene that will be revealed with the US release.

I saw it...and...I give it 3.5 out of 5...better than Iron Man 2. The action is great, fans of the armor tech will love the developments...they killed it with the twist (not in the good way)...but I really loved the development of Tony Stark as the hero...Iron Man as the tool. Seeing him on some McGuyver shit was nice. I think it's a fair addition to the franchise, but definitely not as good as I'd hoped.

Personally, I think Man of Steel is gonna own the summer.

Saw it yesterday and it was better than the second one.
The idea that Tony has PTSD after "The Avengers" makes so much sense, it's past overdue. He went from being a male version of the Hiltons to a cave in Afghanistan to fighting an old family friend to aliens and mythical gods all in a year or two. He should have PTSD. Damn genius.
The Mandarin. I'm not going to spoil it for anyone but I loved how that turned out. Caught me completely by surprise.
Had a few plotholes that need explaining and a couple continuity glitches (bleeding under left eye, then right eye, then back to left) but still an enjoyable film.
I don't see the need for a fourth one. Leave Iron Man to the Avengers movies and focus on the solo flicks of other characters. They shouldn't do another Iron Man until they're ready to reboot the franchise.

actualy it kinda does...tony stark is more than just a rich dude in a suit..in the comics he has several serious flaws the biggest one being he's an alcoholic something not emphasized in the movies but if done correctly could provide a rich vein of stories and depth to the character.

RDJ was PERFECT casting because he REALLY is/was a rich over privileged smart ass dude with an addiction problem. So he understands the baggage of that character and plays him perfectly.

Just anyone can't really pull that off.

the disappointing bit in the first two films is the writing doesn't even begin to challenge and tap downey's talent and depth in terms of character development I HAVEN'T SEEN THE THIRD ONE YET SO NO SPOILERS!!!!
