Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

The guy reading the audio books is great. He's got a good voice and he imitates the voices of characters throughout. Funny how his Tyrion and Peter Dinklage sound just alike. I wonder who is copying who. Dude makes it hard to not continue listening, but I don't want to get ahead of the show I just like to get that extra background detail that they leave out of the shows.

I believe his name is Roy Dotrice or something like that. His voice is fantasitic though and it pulls you in. Some audiobooks are hard to follow depending on the narrator but the song of ice and fire series is not one of them.

Micheal bay could learn a thing or two about how to PROBERLY adapt a live action show or film from written text. The creators of the show have done a marvelous job of capturing the environment and characters from the book. One of the best adaptions I have ever seen.

I'm not sure if this has been discussed or not but how is the woman with the dragons going to feed that army?

Peace,

I've wanted to discuss the logistics of the unsullied, but again, hard to do without spoilers.

The show GOT, shows her, " Killing the slave masters ", of Astapor, but she SACKED the city, she took what was theirs, goods, money, food, provisions, an kicked rocks wealthy and with an army . . rinse, wash, repeat!??

How long does it all last, that would be a spoiler.

Hard not to watch her. She (and her new slave) light up the screen. I've got to believe that's on purpose...
They're likely just following the books. From what I can tell they've done a very good job of that on this show unlike other shows (**cough** The Walking Dead **cough**). Even still, I can't trust shit now that someone put that damn website link up and I saw some spoilers. I can't believe some of that shit, but it's gonna make for some truly groundbreaking, never done before on a TV show type shit. :smh:

What I mean Rock is that the lighting and everything is different about their scenes. I realize that she is in a different, sunny land, but note how the camera work is brighter

Shoot I'm waiting on the Winds of Winter and who knows when that is coming out. I have read all of the books up to this point. I'm passing the time listening and reading other book series.

The one good thing I can say about the song of ice and fire series is that it has reinvigorated my desire to read again.

From what I understand,GRRM might release Winds of Winter next year :dunno:

Roy Dotrice does a great job with everybody's voice...I originally had the audiobooks with Roy Avers but once I heard Dotrice voice I deleted the ones with Avers ...:lol::lol:

If you havent read the books, dont click on the video

Here is a comparison between Roy Avers and Roy Dotrice..

Roy Avers dont have nothing on Roy Dotrice :itsawrap::itsawrap::itsawrap:

He was cast as the pyromancer in season 2.

So is this a spoiler thread, can we discuss the books in here?
