Shoot I'm waiting on the Winds of Winter and who knows when that is coming out. I have read all of the books up to this point. I'm passing the time listening and reading other book series.


The one good thing I can say about the song of ice and fire series is that it has reinvigorated my desire to read again.

Books 4 and 5 occur at the same along the same timeline but were broken up into 2 books instead of having one huge book.

I'm good with either, but I have grown to really like audiobooks. Especially when I'm relaxing sitting back listening to a great story.

The guy reading the audio books is great. He's got a good voice and he imitates the voices of characters throughout. Funny how his Tyrion and Peter Dinklage sound just alike. I wonder who is copying who. Dude makes it hard to not continue listening, but I don't want to get ahead of the show I just like to get that extra background detail that they leave out of the shows.
