Re: The official Let "let my Rockets win at least 2 games against the Thunder thread

The NBA is a league of matchups. Memphis matches perfectly with the Clippers...not so much with OKC even without westbrook. I think OKC wins that series.

The Clippers cant play half-court ball. OKC doesnt have that issue.

:yes::yes::yes:
You have to attack the Thunder big guys with speed then force them to play small, where you an post their smaller line up.. On paper Memphis don't have the personnel to do this, but with out Westbrook the games should at least be interesting.

The clippers are a very flawed team with two highly overrated front court players. If Chris Paul is smart he'll be on the first thing smoking out of LA.....that team, as presently constructed, will NEVER win a chip. Remember, it's still the clippers and they're still owned by Donald Sterling

I think it will go 7. The home teams probdably wins game seven 80 percent of the time.

Man i hate super teams....

Miami has a bench so good that if they played they would have made the 8 seed in the east

Spo spent the better part of 3 years not even acknowledging he had a bench.

Nobody is more surprised than me that he started playing them more this year.

And Rockets fans really should ask around about coaches. It would be a shame to have this young squad and have it wasted under a coach with no discernible offensive or defenisve structure like McHale apparently does

The thing with McHale is that he's just sort of keeping the seat warm for someone else.

Adelman would still be Houston's coach, but ownership & management wanted to add their D-league coach to Adelman's coaching staff for grooming purposes/on the job training and he wasn't having it. The Rockets then tried to play hardball and told him do it or the contact extension was off the table and he could bounce after the season. Adelman called their bluff and chunked deuces on em and that D-league coach is now on McHale's coaching staff. I'd say McHale has 2 more years before he's replaced by said coach...
