These designs now are just some bullshit...... U can't wear this shit with jeans now..... Shoes are more for performance than design..... Not saying anything is wrong with that.

Lebron has a lot of classic kicks. The Lebron 7-9 are classic. Plus tack on what he's doing on the court in his kicks.
Same with Kobe and KD, though I think only the KD IV are dope. Kobe has a hall of fame career, and KD is headed that way.
They retro Penny's and Pippen's.

I agree. Them shits won't get retro'd. They may try it out but it will pale in comparison to the shoes that get retro'd now. Them shits will not look hot 10 or 15 years from now. I personally don't care for them either....I think some of the rare kicks like Lebron's South Beach's may get retro'd and will probably do numbers too because of how big they were when they initially released. But even if that may be a stretch.
Some of these companies just try to do too much. Keep it simple like they did in the 80's and 90's.
I think a lot of you let the memories of your youth and nostalgia taint your opinion. It's what happens when you get older...you start hating everything from the younger generation. You have memories attached to watching Penny as a kid as opposed to Lebron as an adult.
Not being better than the foamposite isn't a bad thing. That's now a classic sneaker, but damn, if it wasn't for DC nobody would even give a fuck a fuck about the foamposite. Now people rewrite history when for ten years only New York and DC cared about the foamposite. The foamposite is the ultimate hypebeast sneaker, because for 12 years people were saying they were ugly and bulky.
Lebron damn sure has sneakers better than the rest of the Penny line.
Pippen, Barkley and the Penny lines were strictly basketball sneakers, and weren't designed for casual wear. I don't think any of the Penny's look good casually. I don't really count the Foamposite as much, because that was designed for Pippen, but he didn't want it. So to say that they don't look good casually, well that applies to most basketball sneakers, because a lot of people feel that way. I think a lot of running kicks don't look good casually, and people who wear running kicks casually feel the same about basketball sneakers.
Any sneaker can be worn casually, it's just the opinion of the person if it looks good or not.
For example I don't think the Jordan XI, which was the first sneaker really designed for casual doesn't even look good with jeans to me.
Interesting comments but I think some of these will get retroed in 10 years or so just on GP. I also believe is entirely too many color ways now.

Lebron's will get retroed and do well, because just like you have memories of Jordan...young kids will have similar memories of Lebron and wanting to play like him and asking their mom to buy his sneakers.
Lebron 4 and 7-9 will do well.
KD and Kobe wanted their kicks designed for basketball use...both will get retroed, because both have their niche and Kobe having some of the best basketball sneakers.

My only problem. It started with the Lebron 6 and that did well so they continued it. That shit was ridiculous.
That's why those Cleveland fans were so upset...a lot of them muthafuckas spent thousands on his kicks, camped out and everything. I was seeing dudes with 15 and 20 pair easily. I think they had around 26 different colorways for that sneaker.

Oh yea I think they will ALL eventually get retroe'd. And I agree about the Ewings and Shaq's though for the right price i'd cop these.....
