I will take LEBRON JAMES over in his PRIME over

I'm not the one here comparing Bron to Mike

But niggas in here on some dismissive shit like rings is the end all be all

horry got 7 rings and that nigga ain't worth a damn lol

I always said if u going to compare Lebron compare him to Magic

i don't think its fair to compare him to anyone yet only because he's carving his own lane.

he's making it so that in the future we'll compare people to lebron, he'll join the company. he won't be the best ever (jordan) but he'll join the company of players you aspire to be like.

Obviously u give a fuck since u came in here like a moist bitch nigga quoting me.. Foh and stop trolling this thread

Obviously you have no real answer for Michael flopping. So you resort to your only defense which is name calling and shit.

Can't keep it strictly basketball without getting emotional.

You can't discount what I said about The Miami Floppers cuz I even called out my own squad...

MJ > Lebron

Period.

Go back and read the post again

This is why you can't say ANY of these dudes are on MJ's level.

SURE, both Kobe and Lebron have done things Jordan haven't done...

...but over the course of a career? GTFOH.

Lebron is said to be more all-around, but Jordan has had a season of 32ppg and 8rbs and 8asts. Lebron has not done those numbers yet, especially not the PPG with the assists and rebounds. He's gotten close...

...but no cigar.

Jordan has had two seasons of over 120 blocks and multiple seasons where he has averaged more than 2.5 steals per game.

Lebron has never averaged 2.5 steals, and has yet to crack 100 blocks.

I COULD run down why Kobe isn't on Jordan's level, but that has been done a million times as Kobe has been the 'next Jordan' for well over a decade'.

The NBA is trying to make that 10 billion dollars or more like they did off Mike, and they don't care who they have to overrate to do it.

None of these niggas fucking with MJ.

VERY GOOD POINTS AND LET ME ADD TO WHAT YOU HAVE ALREADY POINTED OUT:

Six-time NBA champion (1991-93, 1996-98)
MVP (1988, '91, '92, '96, '98)
10-time All-NBA First Team (1987-93, 1996-98)
All-NBA Second Team (1985)
Defensive Player of the Year (1988)
Nine-time All-Defensive First Team (1988-93, 1996-98)
Rookie of the Year (1985)
14-time All-Star
All-Star MVP (1988, '96, '98)
One of 50 Greatest Players in NBA History ('96)
Olympic gold medalist (1984, '92)

1. MJ RECORDED A TRIPLE DOUBLE IN 7 STRAIGHT GAMES; NOT AVERAGE A TD, BUT PRODUCE ONE IN 7 STRAIGHT GAMES..ONLY WILT DID BETTER

2. MJ FOR HIS CAREER SHOT OVER 50% FROM THE FIELD, NOT A SEASON OR TWO BUT FOR HIS WHOLE DAM CAREER!!!!...

3. MJ DID ALL OF THIS WHILE PLAYING IN A TOUGHER LEAGUE AND WITH MORE SKILLED PLAYERS IN THE LEAGUE...

4. WE WONT EVEN TALK ABOUT THE MONEY THAT THE NBA AND THE WHOLE ENTIRE US ECONOMY MADE SOLELY BECAUSE OF MJ...

U GUYS NEED TO STOP DISRESPECTING THE GREATEST EVER!!!!!

LeBron >>>>>> Jordan without Pippen

how you the GOAT and you never won a single playoff series without another HOFer? Even AI won a playoff series with bums.

How many rings has LeBron won without D.Wade & Chris Bosh...?

Mike played with 2 HOF'er...Bron is playing alongside 3 possible 1st ballot hall of famers.

D.Wade, Bosh, Ray Allen...

Mike dominated in an era without a superstar center

LeBron has won playoff series by himself before. Took a bunch of bums to the Finals by himself at age 22. Jordan won 1 playoff game in 3 years before Scottie came and saved him. And without Scottie in Washington, Jordan wasnt good enough to get in the playoffs although he came close.

Mike only played with 1 HOF'er...Bron is playing alongside 3 possible 1st ballot hall of famers.

Dennis Rodman isnt a HOFer? Phil Jackson isnt a HOF coach? Ho Grant was an all star and underrated big man. Toni Kukoc was a 6th man of the year. If you want to get technical, Mike also won a title with HOFer Robert Parrish. Keep pretending Mike had no help and played with nobody.

What great center did Jordan beat in the Finals?

Fam dude like 10 yrs old

Don't talk to him like that

if you want to compare this era and collection of talent vs jordan era and collection of talent when dealing with a super star playing playing by themselves you've lost period.

its not debatable how much better the nba was and how much better the teams were that he was going up against.

stop it.

So anybody that played in the 80s is automatically better than someone today because the "era" was tougher? Gotcha. Why doesnt this apply to the 80s when guys like Wilt and Big O say the same about their era? I thought we was comparing individuals anyway, not eras.

The comparison of Lebron & Jordan should start and end with their nba careers.

Their age at the time of their successes has no bearing on how it was achieved. Lebron skipped college because it was the norm for the best/better players to do at the time. He already played against the top players of his age in camps, summer leagues, AAU, etc. he knew was as good or mostly better than anyone he would see in NCAA ball, so why go there?

In Jordan's time, the talent test was college ball. There weren't AAU travel circuits to challenge the best up and coming ballers for him to sign up for . He had to find out at UNC, and he did with a championship and two time player of the year & 1st team all-American. He stayed in college because it was the thing to do. If the other top players of his era like Hakeem, Ewing, Barkley, Drexler, Malone would have all skipped college or left earlier, does anyone think Jordan would have stayed?? I certainly do not, Jordan played like his desire was to let everyone know how much better he was than anyone he shared the court with from game 1 of the season to game 5 or 6 of the Finals.

All this youngest to do this or that is nonsense. Chances are if you start earlier you may reach a particular goal or accomplishment earlier... Except for rings. :D

Nah whats crazy is your ass is older than me & lbop and you still are wrong.

I understand being a fan of a player / team. But your bias is really getting in the way of the facts.

And were you even a Miami Heat fan during 85-98 when Jordan was playing with Chicago?

I doubt it.

We're you a clipper fan when Mike Woodson was playing?

Is Rober Parish a hall of famer yes or no?

Dude named bench player HOFer Ray Allen. So I named bench player Robert Parrish who is a HOFer. Jordan also played with HOFer George Gervin. Its sad when his fans know so little about his early career because they are obsessed with the marketing campaigns and narratives Phil Knight/Nike/Stern sold to them AFTER he started winning titles.

its impossible to compare individuals without eras when you want to bring the era into it.

if you bring up someones success by themselves then you have to look at who they were competing against and how successful would the individual be in each others respective era's

if you can sit here and say jordan couldn't have won some playoff series by himself in the time and era lebron won his by himself then i don't know what to tell you.

and if you feel that lebron would have done the same thing in this era by himself in the 80's including going to the finals against those teams? i don't know what to tell you.

the argument needs to be skill wise talent wise and dedication wise. that's it. everything else is irrelevant including rings (which i never bring into these discussions)

Wilt
Russell
YOUNG Shaq
Kobe
Jordan
Oscar Robertson
Moses Malone

WAIT!!!!!!!!

this aint fair...we need to confine this to wing players or forwards or something

Bro...

Ray Allen just became a bench player this year...He's been a starter his entire NBA career up until the injury last season with Boston.

What you fail to realize is MJ has always had the confidence & killer instinct to take & make the big shots on the biggest stage.

You're crazy if you think I'm pulling for Jordan after he started winning rings.

And Robert Parish is one of the greatest big men to ever play this game and has more starts and games played than anyone in the history of the game. He came in and gave them some huge minutes the year he played with them.

Sounds like the Nike marketing campaign. Jordan won how many titles passing to white boys? How many rings he get throwing passes to Paxson, Buechler, Kerr for game winning shots? Where is Jordan's "killer instinct" as an owner? I keep hearing Jordan hates to lose and would slit your throat to avoid it, yet he's consistently fielded some of the worst teams in NBA history. Please, somebody explain to me how this guy yall swear who's will is just 10 times better than any other NBA player is OK with losing in the owner's box? How does someone who "always wins" as yall are portraying him, so abyssmal as an owner? Yall be on them ducktales when it comes to Jordan man.

You're crazy if you think I'm pulling for Jordan after he started winning rings.

I think your knowledge of him and nostalgia about him begins in 91 win he became a "winner". When he was that dude that dropped 35 a game and couldnt make it to or get out the 2nd round, I doubt you was on him.

The conference always kills me because dudes act like dudes don't play 32 games against the other conference.

And let's stop using this era shit too. We know damn well with his physical attributes Lebron would thrive in any era. He'd probably better because he would taken on that 80's attitude. MJ is better because he just was, not because of the era

Nah man, small forwards like Kevin Gamble, Lionel Simmons, Mark Aguirre would've had LeBron too shook to go to the hole. No way he could overpower those guys.

How in the hell can that even be debated? So you mean to tell me that Tracy McGrady was good enough to come out of high school and go straight to the pros, but the GOAT wasn't?

GTFOH. That's such a subjective statement that it's hard to take serious.

:smh::smh::smh:

Damn....some stupid shit is being said in this thread.

These guys just reaching...

Well....LeBron walked and was toilet trained at 13 months,so he must be better:lol:

It's a shame that people stain Mike with all these other "other factors" for why he won. Mike had that same killer instinct the first 6 years of his career and in 95 when he lost to Orlando. Shit he even had it on the wizards. He won because he was more skilled and worked harder not because of some mystical intangibles.
