I will take LEBRON JAMES over in his PRIME over

You would have a point if Jordan won a title without Pippen or something. Whether he joined another team or not, on every championship run he was surrounded by All Stars. Hence there was no incentive for him to leave.

Stop this shit cousin. They built that team around Jordan and he took it from the gutter to a title. I'm not knocking Lebron for leaving shitty ass Cleveland. Jordan and Phil made Pippen with years of work. I remember that bitch ass didnt even want to play against my pistons complaining about Migranes and shit because we used to beat his ass. Lebron went to a team with a player who was already a NBA FINALs MVP.... smart move on his part but there is a difference

Can't compare DRAFTING players and making a championship team with abandoning your OWN team to join other star players. LeBron is a great player, just not the greatest. Shit...LeBron would have so many fuckin' stitches right now if he played in the late 80s or early 90s it wouldn't be funny. Not only did players take charges but if you RAN into them like LeBron they'd punch your ass out. You can never compare players of different eras. The game has changed. LeBron might be the Jordan of his era and that's enough.....

LeBron is already a better all around player than Jordan ever was. Jordan shoes and nostalgia make dudes defensive. The Jordan never lost a Finals argument is bogus. Most years he wasnt good enough to get there. He played 8 years before he got there. LeBron had 3 Finals appearances at the age Mike was still gettin dropped in 2nd rounds. Dudes forgot Nick Anderson schooled dude in 95. J lost too guys. hhad a losing playoff record til he played with another HOFer. Jordan gets props for SCORING period. 63 points in a playoff loss and dudes forgive him for losing. Jordan was great but to act like King aint on his level is absurd. Jordan never won anything without Pip.

Thats how I know Lebron is on his way..

got you moist niggas yappin bout Mike...

funny you ain't comparing Kobe to Jordan..

and Bron got to reach kobe's level? rightttttttttt lmaooo Bron is a better more complete player than Kobe.. BY FAR

Bron getting a different type of hate...

You comparing Bron to Mike? NBA wanted an air apparent so fuckin bad.. foh..

Compare Bron to Magic and Malone..

funny you clowns won't compare Mike to Russell.. its null and voids your dumb ass argument

And you say Mike didn't need leave Chicago? oh course its a major market unlike Cleveland... Mike had Pippen and Rodman..they didn't have issues getting top talent to come to chicago..

as if you bitch ass niggas would have stayed in Cleveland

Trust if bron was in a major market from the beginning of his career Wade and Bosh would have joined him but you was expecting them niggas to come to Cleveland? really?

ya'll niggas some clowns

Jordan fans do what they accuse others of. Most started watching the NBA when Mike played so they ignore and downplay those who came before him. He becomes the be all end all. They couldnt spot Sam "10 rings" Jones out a lineup.

Imagine Doug Collins saying "Mike I need you to check Buddha Edwards tonight"

Exactly

You won't ever hear them mention John Havlicek or Tom Heinsohn :lol:

Wait don't mention them niggas... Robert Horry better than Mike

Jordan in his prime was winning the title every year. Lebron's prime isn't even half finished yet. Their careers at this point can't be compared...

The only thing that gets me about how people talk about the rules that favor the younger players is that JORDAN is the reason the rules got soft. David Stern literally changed the rules to protect the superstars because of the abuse Jordan caught from the Pistons.....

Jordan waited his turn, Lebron now has his. At the end of the day it's going to be a comparison that can't really be made. Jordan was a scorer. Of all his abilities his most glaring attribute is scoring. Lebron is quite frankly something never seen before. Jordan is the greatest basketball player. Lebron may end up being the greatest athlete just based on his amount of skills.

plz!!!! jordan was defended by shooting guards that averaged 6'2" feet tall. He didnt have a lebron or a kobe holding him. Also ppl harp on how the "rules" changed... man I play ball, and having someone try to hand check me just throws their natural balance off when i give that extended arm a bump.. Not taking away from MJ, but in today's league he would be our everyday allstar not the legend that he was from the late 80'-90's.

stop it....

It's funny.

We idolize Lebron for averaging 28, 7, and 6. Yet, we completely forget that MJ averaged 32, 8 and 8 in a season and put together arguably the most diabolical three-week stretch in modern NBA history. Please pay special attention to the dates March 22 - April 14. I'm surprised there isn't an organized pilgrimage to Wilmington based off that stretch alone. If Kobe or Lebron did that, we'd get a day off of work.

LBJ needs to reach Kobe level before making comparisons to MJ.
How far do u think KING JAMES needs to go before reaching Kobe's level?
At least this far, 4 more times...

I'm wondering where all of the angst is coming from? Remember when the same was said about MJ before he was finally able to overcome the Bad Boys in Detroit? As a life long Bulls fan I felt like spoiled watching MJ's dominance. As of right now there really is no comparison. We are now witnessing LeBron's maturation process...where he is finally realizing that "I am the best player on the fucking planet"...and he is actually starting to play like it. He is even starting to develop a killer instinct. Once that fully develops this argument will have legs..

J did it for a season, LeBrons done it for a career. Big diffrence. LeBron already has more playoff triple doubles than him, 2 years from age 30. Bron will never be that 30+ a night dude J was, but he's the better all around player.

LeBron entered the league at 19, Mike entered at 21. If you compare LeBron at 21 to now, and Mike during the same span. The numbers equal out to:

MJ: 32.5 ppg, 6.0 apg, 6.4 rpg, 2.7 spg
LeBron: 28.5 ppg, 7.0 apg, 7.3 rpg, 1.7 spg

So, Mike averaged 4 more points per game and a steal more, LeBron one more assist and one more rebound.

No big difference except that MJ was a more dynamic scorer.

dont forget Mj's Will to win

Let me start this off by saying, I am a Heat fan and have been since '04.
As well as that rings aren't everything - otherwise there are a few people we could put over Mike.
I also understand p.e.r. stats and everything else you fuck niggas wanna throw out there.....
BUT AINT NO GOD DAMN WAY ANY OF YOU MUTHAFUCKAS GON TELL ME BRON >>> MIKE :angry::angry:

My bad...lost my  for a minute :smh: Mike all day.

this has got to be one of the dumbest threads in the history of bgol

Jordan in his prime is the most dominant player ever. The only other arguments are for Shaq and Wilt.

Lebron will get his 4th MVP this yr

That will be 4 in 5 yrs

He should have 5 in 5 yrs of play

Lebron is a far better defender than Magic and more versatile than O due to size

no he isnt a better defender than magic

when have you seen anyone use magic with the exception of mj the goat

hell ive seen melo and kd give lebron the business multiple times

and im not buying the big o argument either, dude was like 6'6 and was reported to play much bigger than his size

now im not saying Bron isnt that dude

but some of these bgol dudes simply live in the moment

Lmao @ magic being a better defender

Bird use to cook magic and bird was slow as a fuckin turtle
