Hell, the best song on the the album, she wasn't on it. Then they fucked up a really good song by putting her on the remix.

i respectfully disagree Chuck.

That single SHOULD have catapulted Cease's career but I think the video and Lil Kim's addition DID add a positive note.

It made it even MORE of a club banger because of the Boys vs. Girls vibe it created...(much like LL did on more then one of his later singles)

Men AND Women sang it then & now...

And I think that regardless of whether she wrote all the lyrics her delivery persona beats and stage presence at THAT TIME in particular make it a STRONG consideration for a classic...and also it was HARD no real singing and POP stuff on there.

To be honest, I didn't see Cease going anywhere as a solo artist, but I liked "Crush On You" when it was just him. There was just something about remix that I didn't care for. It's good, fam. That's what debates and discussions are about. Now, if you disagree with me again, I'm gonna have to ask you for hand pix. :hmm:

Oh I understand it was a BETTER song without her but I think it was a better LOOK for Jr Mafia as a whole. And also helped lessen the overshadowing his solo appearance on her debut LP had.

You dont need a hand pix fam, I only post white girls remember?

that PROVES I'm Black.

:D

She had some bangers on that joint. Drugs and no time was dope but this joint was the shiiit!!

You niggas got some audacity..

a hoodrat's classic

i know a few that loved the sh!t front to back

but a classic rap album? :cmonson:

Honestly, IMO. Yes. I think it was. She had wack recs.

But that "no time" joint was nice and the last end of that album was nice too.

Production was good. And I can't really compare any album to that one except foxy brown's joint.

but compared to OTHER female rap solo albums?

she had her moments thanks to c.wallace

hell I'll even say that she was the best member from a wack azz crew

but one thing's for certain is, she was definitely physically attractive during that period

There was only one song on the whole cd that I actually played and that was Crush on you and while Cease did the whole original track and I liked it the remix was also good as well, but as far as calling Hard Core a classic ???? I have to say no on this
