OK, I watched tonight and I'm getting tired of the love affair with the prez shit. It's getting old and it makes strong sista'z look desperate for a man. Then she practically tells the brotha off when he'z really right. Talkin bout ok if you want sex lets have sex, that shit pissed me off!! I dont know how much longer Im going to hang with this. If it wasnt for huck I'd be out. Uno I just realized a few day'z ago that he was the same dude from Weed's, LoL!! 
I realize this must have a woman as the lead writer - the dudes act like str8 bitches: president pining, whining and crying for this chick...the chick's new boyfriend acting like a chick. WTF. I don't know any dudes that act that way.
I knew Huck was the shooter..bet he got that order from short-wave radio. Somebody is still in control of those CIA operatives.

THE WRITING
Superb. Funny. Quick witted. Silly at times. Dramatic.
Everything a good nite time soap otta be. They touching on storylines and peeling back layers weve never seen before on network TV. The Westwing made it look good, clean and antiseptic - but this view is cooler, sleeker, dirty.
The Goodwife is a show that edges this one out because they do both.

Im still not a fan of all the fasttalking but I get it. Not a fan of the editing at times and the distracting image reflection/ blocking but the pace is smooth. I do love the way the script is folding back into its roots but widenening for the new season.

Its the real story under the public story. This is as real as any housewife that knows her husband is in love with their kids Math teacher and evryone still plays their roles. Folks want to act as if Jordans wife and Tigers wife and John Edwards wife and Hilary had NO IDEA what was going on. Of course they did, they just played their roles.
Thank God for the Marilyn Monroes and all the mistresses (not jump offs) around the globe. Life would crumble without them.
Scandal puts this shit right in our face. Both the first lady and Olivia work as a driving force. With the gay old dude and the judge and THE POWER BROKERS, they work together as a team - The POTUS is just the face of that team.
The racial overtones arent even noted in the show. Not once has anyone said anything about race. Ever. Its clever. We shall see how long that lasts before becoming the elephant in the room.

If anybody is gonna worry about the color of the character's then they might as well bail on this show. On the surface you will see a sister shitting on a black man...and not a regular black man..a fuckin Senator because she has a thing for the white President..but the story line really is that the brother was in the wrong place at the wrong time and is a replacement because the woman really can't be with the man that she is in love with. Her mind knows what the better choice is, but her silly heart and vagina ultimately control her actions. That shit happens everyday, except most of these niggas are married to the chick that would rather be with the dude before them. To me it's realistic, because it shows how book smart and professional a woman can be, but still be retarded when it comes to relationships. What's harder for me to stick with is her being involved with rigging the Presidency, but from the start of the show, they portrayed her like she was so righteous...like she would go all out for her clients, but she would never be involved with some shit like that. Now the President is gonna be a walking vegetable...oh well, it's just entertainment.

Watching the show last night a few things come to mind but it ws interesting but I think the wife is about a minute away from saying fuck it let just do the wife/concubine thing and stop bullshitting around - Powerful men have been doing it for thousands of years and all benefited.

And you would think women viewers of this show would have been all up in arms about that part. heh who am i kidding
And lets get to other parts. Harrison is in the halls trying to stop the head of the senate from seeing the president. GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE. In what conceivable world could that even happen.
And then Olivia is telling him he cant see the president. On whose authority?
And they found Huck in her office and she and her other staff werent thrown in prison as well too.............
The ADA after all the shenanigan she pulled came into her office to offer information about Huck...
And the charade to the press about how the president was doing while he was still under a coma......

Show is definitely geared towards women. I'll still watch it but I lost a little interest after the episode when the ex CIA dude tracked down the other ex CIA guy and was able to get the info. It really went crazy when the Prez showed up at the chicks doorstep....just a little too cheesy for my taste.
I love the show, but hate the love affair. I would have rather they kept them enemies as they were once going to be at one point.

My sentiments exactly. I heard people talking about it so I tried watching but just couldn't get into it. I'm surprised at the number of men who are following it.
So the lady president let Huck go because she read he killed 3 world leaders....? I'm still confused on what she read in the intel report?..
